This place is MASSIVE, and clearly flying under the radar. We were looking for a place to watch the game last night, and we walked by and ducked in on a whim. It's hard to tell what's happening here because at street level, it's just an unmanned door with a small welcome area. Once you take an elevator down underground, that's where you'll find the massive underground sports cavern. It's a PERFECT spot to catch a game, especially with a big group. They have food, they have booze, they have beer. There is tons of seating, areas to chill by the bar, at tables, and over by the golf simulators. It's clean, and new, and bright, and beautiful. There's a giant shuffleboard table. There are so, so many TVs everywhere, and since NFL games are like 85% commercials, you can play golf while you watch. We weren't even there for golf, but it's a pretty impressive setup. They have state of the art simulators where you hit off of tees, or various types of ground that simulate the bunkers or the rough. They've got both lefty and righty clubs for you, people who can come troubleshoot any simulator issues (we had a few). There's servers rolling around and offering you any sort of beverage you might be into (alcoholic or not), as well as food. We didn't eat anything, but what we saw looked pretty good. While I'm sure it's a great place to come in solo or with a friend to practice, it seems like the whole place is set up for big groups. Everything you order can be scaled up for friends. You can get buckets of beer cans (growlers if you're going for the very decent tap selection), or a Big Ole Mule if you're drinking liquor. There are giant meat and cheese boards, flatbreads, big orders of wings to share...a great sports bar option. As I see it, there are only a couple of drawbacks: 1. They can't seem to change the fact that I suck at golf (after one visit; I suppose I could keep coming and get better). 2. It's pretty pricey. $89/hour on the simulator. Drinks and food are not exactly cheap either (this is still Brooklyn), but they have a decent happy hour from 3-7 pm M-Th.

Clean, modern & chic right in the Downtown Brooklyn area. Took my niece & nephews here as a belated birthday outing and it was perfect! Book in advance because I thought we could just walk in but they let us know that they're usually booked on Thursdays because of the leagues. we decided to wait and eat (even though you can eat while you golf). A lot of finger food options but we ultimately ended up with a cheeseburger flatbread, boneless flat wings, bone-in mango habanero wings, and a shrimp poboy. Food was meh as it was very saucy and a little too salty. I'd say the guacamole was ok (mild), but I'd just order the bone-in wings next time. The waiter was really nice, made the kids feel welcomed and seemed happy to be there. The virtual game was fun too as they had an easy mode with a ramp that helped me as a beginner and the kids. Generally, calm and quiet with background music that you can talk over but the kids didn't feel out of place.

The venue is pretty spacious they have a back dining area, a big bar when you enter and a full bar upstairs. There's a ton of televisions if you are watching sports as well. You can't go wrong with a potato vehicle to fresh toppings. All and all great fun spot for sports and gatherings. Also this is a melting pot. Various ages, groups, backgrounds, saw a few families. We always tend to gravitate toward Irish bars when we visit the city and it rains. Comfort food is always a must on a rainy day in the city. We split a chicken Cesar spinach wrap and the famous Irish nachos. Both were phenomenal, the nachos had a bit of a kick to them. Not much but enough to make you sweat. Very close to the Barclays center, walking distance. Highly recommend stopping in before an event or for their upstairs beer garden.

I realize that's very specific, but that's what happened, and maybe you are also into the things this bar has even if that wasn't you: 1. A great bartender. She poured pints like it was her job (it was), was super friendly, and didn't miss a beat all night. 2. Lots of comfortable seating, and TVs for any games you need. 3. A truly great backyard with plenty of seats and tables for when we drunkenly order pizza after saying we didn't need anything to eat hours before. 4. Darts. Who doesn't love throwing sharp objects around after they've been drinking? 5. Amazing signage. I like the one calling me a motherfucker if I climb around outside. And the bathroom sign saying they'll hate me if I break a glass because I leave it on the sink. It's the little things. 6. Trivia on Wednesdays. 7. Homemade fireball? One of the guys I was with noted that was on the menu, and I would've immediately bought us some shots but I had just met him that night. Next time. I'll report back. 8. Good vibes. Seriously, this place is just a good time. We'll be back.

We were not drunk or loud and we were sitting outside so genuinely could not have done anything to bother her. At the end of the night she looks at us and says "you guys can go" in the sassiest tone because she needed to clean up outside. There were so many other ways to approach that topic but she chose the rudest possible way. So here is her tip: Do NOT work a customer service job if you can't even pretend to be kind. Find a new job where you can be an absolute b*tch to people because it isn't bartending.

As someone who has come to this bar regularly to watch Knicks playoff games, I can confidently say…read moreI will never return after what happened during the NBA Finals last night. What this bar pulled was completely unacceptable. They were openly reserving seats at the bar for certain people while telling everyone else they were unavailable. There was no advertised reservation policy, no advance notice, and no opportunity offered to regular customers. Apparently, the only way to get a seat is to know the owner, know the bartenders, or be part of the inner circle. What made it even worse was that my group had been sitting at the bar, ordering food and drinks starting around 7:30 PM, only to be forced out of our seats at 7:45 PM. The reservation signs on those seats clearly stated they were reserved for 8:15 PM. We were paying customers actively spending money, yet we were removed 30 minutes before the supposed reservation time. That is absolutely egregious behavior. I've worked in sports bars and have owned sports bars in New York City. In all my years in the business, I have never heard of reserving seats directly at the bar--especially during a major sporting event. It goes against everything that makes a sports bar successful. Bar seats have always been first-come, first-served. That's Sports Bar 101. I've spent plenty of money here over the years because it was always a great place to watch big games: good atmosphere, sound on the TVs, and a fun crowd. Unfortunately, last night proved that customer loyalty means absolutely nothing. Regular patrons were treated like second-class citizens while preferred customers received special treatment. For a bar that markets itself as a neighborhood sports destination, this was incredibly disappointing, unprofessional, and frankly insulting. If you're planning to watch a major game here, don't assume you'll be treated fairly. Unless you're friends with the right people, don't expect the same experience as everyone else. There are plenty of other sports bars in Brooklyn that understand how to treat customers. After last night, I'll be spending my money there instead. I won't be back, and I certainly won't be recommending this place to anyone. Let's Go Knicks
