Coming all the way from California, walking into a bar you might as well refer to as the "Cheers" bar! Josh (Bartender) greeted us with the most welcoming and loving smile. The Man Can Make You A Drink!!!! Then followed up with the Owner Michael! He personally greets all of his patrons. He goes "Seriously" Above and Beyond for his patrons to ensure they have the time of their lives while in his bar. You have not experienced Sandy Jacks if you only make it here one night. My dear friend and I, made it a point to come three times in our short stay in New York. We didn't care to go anywhere else, with the hospitality and drinks not to mention the awesome cost! Cozy bar with a nice backyard! The drink prices are low for the neighborhood and the bartenders were friendly and quick. The space is cozy but comfortable. Backyard is really nice and I hope to go back on a warmer evening to enjoy more. My friend hosted a Halloween party here and it was great for a party. I want to like this place but between the sad excuse for food ( frozen pizza and a microwave) and the limited liquor with the happy hour token, I say avoid. The bartender did point me in the right direction with the pizza across the way but that is all that is redeemable about this sad local place. read more

Walked by this place looking for a spot to watch football on a Sunday. Great local bar. Has a pool table which is free and a few pinball machines! Awesome. I rocked out a game of a pool on the solo and crushed it. I beat myself so I both won and lost in the same exercise. Drinks are super cheap. Beers are around $5-7. Wines are also cheap at $7. They have a Happy Hour every day from 3-7 with 2 for 1 drinks which is insane. Totally get the feel of a local bar. Limited food options but they have table 87 frozen pies and can fire them up in a little oven they have. Bartender was great. 100% will be back to support this local spot. read more

After being open for less than a year all I can say this place is awesome! The bar is very comfortable, accepting, the staff are super friendly & sociable, & they bring a bunch of entertaining and enjoyable activities to the neighborhood such as karaoke Tuesday , trivia Thursday's , pool league, and even offer a buy one get one free happy hour that keeps you coming back daily or weekly. Place is pretty cool. Nice choices of drinks.. music is cool. Swing by have a drink or two Happy hour 3-7 nice choices... but,, Place stinks of weed... but once u get pass the smell of grass ,The only thing is that bartenders are horrible! Either to occupied playing billiards "pool" or playing being occupied on there cell phones. I literally waited almost 15 minutes or more for a refill on different occasions... so this was not a one occurrence thing, and this was not a one time thing it was over a few times. How else to get a bartenders attention? I was staring at the tv! Ceiling! At the bottles! At the taps! At the bartender NADA NUNKA.... lmao! Idk "maybe get those button buzzers" lol idk .... if this was my establishment and my bartenders was B/S ing around honestly id fire them.. thats why you dont hire friends if so... idk but am saying Business is business.. bartenders are there to serve busy or not... you cant play games and check your phone every freaking 15 seconds!
