I was passing through Walnut on 60-Fwy recently and caught a big golf sales banner just before the Fairway exit ramp (how fitting to find a golf store right off the Fairway Dr.!). So, I stopped by the store and was very pleased with their full array of product lines and top-notch professional service. I mean, they had just about everything that you would ever want for a golfer. Moreover, their staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Honestly, I was little hesitant to shop in-person instead of online but to my surprise I got nothing but a pleasant experience here, I mean I had some bad experiences before with some of other golf stores like Dick's Sporting Goods or Roger Dunn. But at Golfio, I was very pleased with their huge retail display, in particular, with Demo tryouts in their beautiful hitting bays. This place also has in-house fitting service, private lesson rooms and repair shop to cover you all around. I found out that you can also go to their web store (golfio.com) to find hugely discounted prices. Went in to shop for some golf irons , my son wanted to hit a kids driver because he is learning to play. The personnel wouldn't let him because it was supposedly new. Odds of me buying the set were 50/50 depending on how he hit the club. It's a kids club how bad could he have damaged it . Overall it felt like they didn't care to make the sale read more

Great experience. I live in Michigan, and have been looking for the discontinued Callaway Apex Pro 21's. I was specifically looking for a brand new set (4-PW + AW). I called Customer Service because they said they had it in stock. I wanted to verify before I purchased. They ended up calling the store that had the clubs, had them set them aside, and called me back within 10 minutes to tell me they were available. I purchased a few minutes later. the selection for clothes is very limited for both men and women. the club selection is ok. pricing for the store is higher than others. they always seem to have 10% discounts but this merely brings their prices to be about the same or slightly higher than other retailers. i always end up checking out the shop to see what they have but due to the pricing , have never once got close to pulling the trigger on a purchase because why would i want to pay more for the same product? that would be financially irresponsible. i'll take those savings and spend it on other golf consumables like gloves, tee times, range balls, etc. read more

I purchased a new TaylorMade driver for my son for Christmas. Golfio has been a huge disappointment for various reasons. My son was very excited to use his new driver, but the excitement soon changed to disappointment. After several swings the driver's head began to rattle. I understand that sometimes defective products happen, so I wasn't concerned. This is where the frustration and disappointment came in from Golfio. I returned the club and they confirmed the club was indeed defective. We were surprised when they refused to immediately exchange the club from their stock in store. Instead, they said that they would send the bad club to the manufacturer, and we would have to wait for their decision to repair or replace. This process took nearly a month to finish. During that time I called numerous times with no clear answer as to what TaylorMade would do. Their staff told me on more than one occasion that TaylorMade often replaced bad clubs with an entirely new club or even upgrade. This club cost $250 dollars, and my wife and I are both retired on a fixed income. Finally, Golfio called a said the club was in store, and that the driver's head had been swapped out with a new one. I asked if I could exchange the club for entirely new club or upgrade. The store manager looked in some sort of book and said he would give me $90 dollars for the defective club his store sold to me. I will never purchase any clubs from this business again. Good to outstandingly business practices start at the ground level. Golfio should have immediately replaced the driver with a brand new one. Instead they let their customer deal with all the frustrations and disappointments their store should've dealt with and is better versed in. read more
