My wife and I have been learning from Okky for about 6 classes now and it's been amazing to see how much we've improved in just those classes as we're completely new to the game of golf. Okky has been wonderful with having patience and thoughtfulness when helping us learn the correct way of playing golf. We cannot wait for more lessons and to learn on the courses! Thank you Okky read more

I have been playing golf and have consulted with various instructors and in 2024 I found Okky! I read his profile and decided to schedule a lesson. My first lesson with Okky was in September 2024 - there were quite a few changes (not drastic) but fundamental changes needed. The first lesson tremendously helped me and at the same time trying to get used to the change. At times, it seems that you wanted to revert to the way you used to - but I pulled that temptation away and remind myself to be patient with this change and to give it a chance. In May 2025, I went for my 2nd lesson - he continued to reinforced the initial lesson that I had. Then in January 2026, I went for my 3rd lesson to improve my Driving of the ball. We began with Iron shots practice, he reinforced the same lesson I had before. He added few more concepts that I continued to implement during practice. Seems that 3rd lesson is a charm and with a little patience applying these concepts seems to get somewhat easier! With these 3 lessons it paid off! I'd like to share that Last Monday 03-02, I broke 80 at Goosecreek Golf Course. Thank You Okky for your time and drills/concepts you had ingrained in me and making me understand the mechanics. I strongly recommend Okky for your golf instruction needs. read more

What really stands out is his attention to detail and ability to give clear, practical feedback that actually improves your game. Started taking lessons with Okky after several years of trying to learn golf through youtube and tiktok. From the first lesson, things started to click. Okky's approach to teaching each portion of the swing helped me better understand what I was doing wrong, and how to fix it in a concrete, consistent way. Not only is he great at answering various questions about your swing, but he also teaches you how to identify and diagnose these issues during your own practice time. Going to various driving ranges, I'd over-hear other peoples' golf lessons, and always felt like those instructors were not very helpful, so I had hesitated with getting lessons for so long. I'm glad I found Okky and look forward to continuing developing my golf game. read more

Had a package of 5 lessons for two people with Okky. The facility is excellently equipped with simulators that can provide you and him with all sorts of information about your ball striking! Whether you are a new player or a seasoned expert having this information available is super super helpful in improving your game. Okky is very knowledgeable and friendly. He is approachable and very open to questions which is so important for a golf instructor. My wife and I were quite new to the game when we started our lessons so he had his work cut out for him. The first few lessons were a bit awkward because of how new we were, but I think the latter lessons were much more helpful. I think lessons with Okky were definitely helpful. One thing I would comment on is that I don't necessarily recommend the pair sessions. I think the single sessions are the way to go with Okky! read more

I've been taking lessons with Okky at Golf Made Sense, and I can't recommend him enough. He's not only a great instructor but also really takes the time to explain the why behind your swing. Using the simulator, he breaks down your swing with data and visuals, so you can actually understand what's going on and how to improve. What sets Okky apart is that he doesn't just tell you what to fix--he teaches you the fundamentals and theory behind the golf swing. That way, you can start to recognize and troubleshoot your own misses, which is incredibly empowering for long-term improvement. The instruction is very individualized to your swing and goals. He doesn't try to force a one-size-fits-all method, which makes the lessons much more effective. He also shares really helpful knowledge about your clubs--how they work, how they affect your swing, and how to get the most out of them. If you're looking for an instructor who blends technology, teaching, and personalized coaching, Okky at Golf Made Sense is the way to go. read more

I used to just swing as hard as I could and hope for the best -- usually ended up with a ground ball. After my first lesson with Okky, my swing has completely changed. I've had four lessons, and wow, I completely understand that golf lessons are a must!! Now I'm hitting the ball consistently, and I actually understand what I'm doing -- where my body and club should be, and how to practice the right way. Every lesson, I walk away with something new that helps me get better. Super knowledgeable, easy to work with, and Okky really knows how to explain things in a way that clicks.
