My first lesson with Okky was in September 2024 - there were quite a few changes (not drastic) but fundamental changes needed. The first lesson tremendously helped me and at the same time trying to get used to the change. At times, it seems that you wanted to revert to the way you used to - but I pulled that temptation away and remind myself to be patient with this change and to give it a chance. In May 2025, I went for my 2nd lesson - he continued to reinforced the initial lesson that I had. Then in January 2026, I went for my 3rd lesson to improve my Driving of the ball. We began with Iron shots practice, he reinforced the same lesson I had before. He added few more concepts that I continued to implement during practice. Seems that 3rd lesson is a charm and with a little patience applying these concepts seems to get somewhat easier! With these 3 lessons it paid off! I'd like to share that Last Monday 03-02, I broke 80 at Goosecreek Golf Course. Thank You Okky for your time and drills/concepts you had ingrained in me and making me understand the mechanics. After many weeks of looking, I found Okky from Golf Made Sense. I was immediately impressed with the simulator set up he has where you can see the tiniest flaw with your golf swing. We did a trial lesson first but my son liked him right away as his golf teacher so signed up for more lessons. My son and myself still go for lessons regularly. Well, the clubhouse was nice enough and seemed clean in the areas I saw, but to me, the crowned jewel of every country club should be its golf course. This is where I was extremely disappointed. I cannot imagine being a member at this country club and having a golf course in this condition. I have seen municipal courses that don't require a tee time or greens fees in better shape! There were bare spots all over the "fairways," there was grass growing over the "sand traps," the "tee boxes" were uneven with sporadic grass. I honestly could not believe it. I am hopeful this course can be saved, because it actually could be nice. But it needs some serious love and maybe a Board that actually cares about their product. I bet membership would increase! My daughter who is 12 has been taking lessons from George for about a year now after her previous coach moved away. We found him through other junior golfers on the tour who have been winning many tournaments. Did a little reaearch on him and found out that he has worked with numerous high ranked junior golfers as well as top PGA pros. He have even worked with Rory McIlroy and Lexi Thompson on ESPN Golf special!! George has a dedicated studio set up at far end of the driving range with impressive numbers of high tech gears. Trackman is one of them. Its a very high end doppler radar based launch monitor used by many pros and on PGA Tour tournaments that can accurately calculate numerous aspects of the swing and the ball flight such as balk speed, spin rate, launch angle etc. The most important one of them for my daughter right now is the club path and face angle at impact. We are talking about 2~3 degrees here. Numbers don't lie and by accurately knowing these numbers that gets displayed on the monitor right in the front after each shot, you can be very efficient to know what went wrong. No scratching your head anymore. Combined with this device and George's expertise, my daughter has improved her game significantly and was able to drop her HC to about 6. I can not be any happier with the result, and that is why we drive almost an hour to go see him.

It definitely rewards accurate shots and good course management. The views throughout the property are beautiful, and the course provides a nice escape from the surrounding city. Most areas were in solid condition, although a few spots could use some additional attention. The pace of play was also a little slower than I would have preferred. Also the walk to the range can be brutal Overall, the Babe is a fun and demanding course that will test every part of your game. I would recommend it to golfers looking for a challenging Southern California round, and I'd definitely play it again.

I work with Devin who's a physical therapist at FitMotionLab and I have to say he has been the best PT I have ever used, even compared to the high end PT hospitals our insurance sends us to for 30 days until they will no longer take us because our allowed amount of PT days ran out. FitMotionLab is nothing like these insurance facilities. I pay cash and as long as you do the work then you can stay as long as you need. You've got to try this small and private gym- yes ladies there's a gym you can go to and not feel awkward because men are staring you down. This gym has an awesome recovery room after you exercise in the gym including reclining recovery chairs, a sauna with red like therapy and recovery boots for your tired, achy legs after a long day of work. Call this place... you won't regret it! I know I don't!
