I'm an eight on the Enneagram (a challenger), and not only is Jay gifted in his golf system, but also in his soft skills, such as being able to handle challenging people. He knew when to step on the gas and push me and he knew when I just needed a nice cold Gatorade cause I was about to explode Today I finally broke 80. The lesson was thorough and covered things that seemed important. I felt like the way they figure out your ability was pretty extensive and showed your ability well. I feel like after my first experience that Gene deserved a 5 star review. I will write another review after I have some lessons.

Well after about two range sessions my back was killing me and I wasn't hitting the ball very far so it was time for lessons. Joel is simply the best. I'm now a regular student of his and go almost every Saturday to work on all aspects of my game. Joel always knows exactly what I need to work on and finds ways to make things "click". Looking at some videos from my first range session to where I'm at only 4 short weeks later is astounding. I even recently got fitted for a driver and was complimented on my swing. I called Shaftopia and spoke with someone who said he was the "distributor." I asked what length the shaft would play at once installed in my mini driver. He kept talking over me and saying, "You mean DRIVER?" I told him no, mini driver. Their website doesn't have a mini driver option like other shaft distributors do, so I selected fairway wood instead of driver because the Titleist GTS300 Mini Driver uses a fairway wood adapter. I asked again what length the shaft would play at, and his response was, "Do you have Google?" Couldn't believe how rude and unhelpful he was over a pretty simple question. Overall, it is a great practice course for a par 3 and a great price for a 9-hole. The course is challenging enough to work on all approach shots and avoiding hazards, and the two par 4s are great for practice with a 3-wood, mini driver, or driver. The Good It allows you to work on almost all facets of golf for a par 3 course that's a 9-hole. Also, the greens have some hills that will make even a scratch golfer rethink their line. While the driving range isn't the best, the putting green is great for practice due to the slopes. They also allow chipping around the green, but it is in a very limited space. The Bad The greens could be a little more taken care of, and the divots desperately need to be filled. Because it is an affordable public practice course, it unfortunately means there are divots everywhere. Personal Thoughts/Experience If I could, I would play this course 2-3 times during the week, and save the nice courses for the weekend.

Then I found Fitness 19. It's smaller than most gyms, but that works in its favor. The staff is genuinely friendly and helpful. People actually come here to work out instead of sitting on a machine for 45 minutes scrolling through TikTok and guarding it like it's the Iron Throne. The place is clean, organized, and doesn't smell like a medieval battlefield after three days in the sun. Equipment is where it's supposed to be. Nobody seems determined to create chaos. My only complaint is that it isn't open 24 hours. Sometimes I get the urge to exercise at 2 a.m. after making poor dietary decisions and watching motivational videos that convince me I'm one workout away from becoming Batman. The pricing is reasonable, and they offer additional classes if that's your thing. Personally, I'm just a basic member, and the basic membership has everything I need. No gimmicks, no nonsense, no influencers filming workouts and then asking you to get out of their Oscar Worthy shot. For the first time in a long time,I don't dread going to the gym.
