Highly recommend! I wasn't sure what to expect from just two lessons with Danny, but the results honestly exceeded my expectations. I went from thinking my swing was "fine" while struggling through terrible rounds, to actually feeling confident on the course--and even beating my friends now . Danny took the time to start with the fundamentals and rebuilt my swing the right way. He corrected my grip, stance, and overall swing mechanics, explaining everything in a way that was easy to understand and apply. In only two lessons, I learned the core skills for both my irons and driver, which completely changed my game. I'd say I went from beginner (borderline horrible!) to a solid intermediate in a very short time. I'm incredibly grateful for the instruction. I'll be practicing the drills Danny taught me and will definitely be back when I'm ready to take my game to the next level. If you're on the fence about golf lessons, take this as your sign to invest in them. Just two lessons gave me the fundamentals that will be the foundation of my game moving forward. read more

Danny Lee is what they say he is. He is a golf surgeon--dissecting a swing and operating on the malignant habits. He basically fixed my swing in one lesson, but my habits are so cancerous that every time I come back, they've come out of remission. We also have a lot in common. I like making fun of myself, and he likes making fun of me too! So we get along great. 10/10 would recommend read more

Danny is a great instructor, he managed to help fix my form and my swing i highly recommend him if you want to be better at the technical side of golf read more

Danny is diligent, thoughtful, and works tirelessly to transmit what you should be doing with your swing into words and actions you understand. If you aren't getting it, he will show you something else and then something else until you get it. In less than 6 months I went from an 11.6 to 7.4 handicap. Beyond his golf coaching ability, Danny is one of the nicest people I know. When I might have left a club at my lesson, he offered to help me replace it. I can't recommend him enough. read more

I signed up for Danny's two-lesson package and my game has already improved drastically. He made quick adjustments to my swing, gave me helpful drills, and explained everything clearly. Highly recommend! read more

I started getting lessons from Danny towards the end of June. I had just gotten my clubs about a week before that,so I started with zero knowledge & experience of swinging a golf club, let alone playing at a course. I've had four lessons from him and I can say he is a great instructor and is worth every penny for how much you learn and take away after each lesson. Also, he gives drills and things to practice each time, so you're able to work on your game when at the range or even at home. If you're new to the game and need someone to help build you a solid foundation in golf - then you've found the right guy! read more

I was honestly shocked with the improvement after one lesson. My swing feels smoother, effortless and nowhere near as over the top I used to be with drills that can be easily replicated when on my own. I have another lesson booked and I cant wait for the next one. I highly recommend if your looking for a coach! read more

He took my basic golf swing in two lessons and gave me structure to build on. If you're looking to build a good foundation I definitely recommend him as an instructor. He takes the time and tailor the lesson to help "you" improve. The investment is worth every $ See for yourself... read more

Coach Lee is great! I came in as a beginner just a month in and just in one session I can see the improvement already , I'm on my second class now and believe he is truly worth it. He is highly informative and gives you a highly personal experience with all his focus on you during lessons. Thanks Coach read more

After 3 lessons with Danny I feel like my swing has improved tremendously. I had taught myself using online resources for two years and can honestly say I would have never made the progress I have made in this past month without his help! Highly recommended. read more

had a lesson with danny the other day to address some issues i've been experiencing in my game lately. safe to say by the end of the session i was shocked with the quick results. went in to minimize the thin/fat and inconsistent striking and he was able to make tweaks to my swing that greatly improved the results of my strikes. most likely going to be booking again in the near future to ensure i'm still on the right track read more

TLDR: I definitely recommend! I have been golfing off and on for almost 30 years and had a good foundation starting with lessons, but hadn't taking a lesson for a long time and have been challenged with finding consistency. I just needed some reminders on feels and positions that I should be looking for to correct the handful of errant shots that can result in some big numbers out there. After taking a lesson prior to Danny didn't I didn't feel like I quite got the answers I was looking for so I gave Danny a shot and within the hour he definitely answered a lot of my questions and gave me some good drills and feels to strive for. Obviously it requires practice and repetition to lock it in, but seems like it just what the doctor ordered! Also the thing I appreciated about Danny is that if you have specific questions about something technical he's open to diving into the details u til you feel like you have a satisfactory answer. The other lesson I had, they just told me not think so analytically because it's all about feel, but if you're an analytical thinker like me it's nice to strive for a feel and simultaneously satisfy the analytical side of the brain. Danny was perfect for this! Oh also Danny utilizes hack motion for lead wrist positioning, flightscope mevo and video to help quickly diagnose and give you feedback live on the range! Thanks, Danny! read more

Danny is an excellent teacher. He's kind and patient, I made rapid progress in our time together. My swing continues to improve and I'm having more fun than ever golfing. Danny is easy going and easy to work with, I would give him six stars if I could! read more

After not playing for 20 years, Danny has got me back to swinging better than ever. He's help me on all aspects of my game from driving, long game, short game, and putting. He even gave me advice on new club selection. The changes felt awkward at first, but Danny was patient and gave me several different drills to create the muscle memory to hit the ball consistently. I highly recommened Danny. read more

I took lessons with Danny years ago and stopped golf for a while. I recently started up again and went back for lessons. Danny is great at giving you a feel for where you need to fix your body mechanics in order to hit the ball farther and straighter. I plan to continue with the drills he gave me and will come back for lessons in the future! read more

After playing Top Golf twice, and having so much fun, I began looking online for a golf lesson. I am a complete newbie and played tennis in high school. I booked a one hour session so I could learn the basics and fundamentals. Coach Danny was awesome. As a student, I appreciated his method of teaching. Golf is so technical! I learned how to properly grip the club, stance, swing, etc. Repetition was key. Highly recommend! read more

I went into lessons with Danny as quite the beginner- I had been to the driving range 3-4 times and had never achieved a clean hit. Everyone who I'd go golfing with would try to give me tips to try to get the ball to hit straight, but nothing worked and when I was lucky enough to make contact, the ball would veer right by 100+ degrees minimum. By the end of my first lesson with Danny I was able to send a golf ball high and straight for the first time. Danny takes a very hands on approach and can quickly see where your form is off to make adjustments. After an hour of micro-adjustments, I was able to understand how to grip the golf club properly, hips/leg positioning, upswing details, and follow through in much greater depth than I had going into the lesson. I am hitting balls to the left now too which is very encouraging for developing my aim He also let me borrow an Iron so that I could practice on the driving range in between lessons. I would highly recommend Danny to anyone looking to improve their golf game and I look forward to more lessons with him! read more

Coach Lee helped me transform my swing to success! I had horrible habits and couldn't break 100. After a couple of lessons I had the right tools to now be well on my way to break 90 and further. He is great at communicating the technique in language you understand. I now know what to "feel" to keep my swing in check. Very friendly and knowledgeable in technique, strategy and equipment and is willing to answer any question. Can't recommend Coach Lee enough to anyone who wants to transform their fundamentals and game. read more

Booked Danny for two sessions after a few prior experiences at the driving range and was really pleased with the progress I made after those sessions. Danny's very detail-oriented and was able to successfully overhaul my swing in less than two weeks. I'd recommend Danny to any beginner like myself who's looking to build a strong foundation of fundamentals. read more

What an incredible lesson I had with Danny today. Patient, positive, detail oriented and really worked on understanding what I was doing and giving me activities to continue to develop and evolve as a golfer. I had my lesson today with Danny. Danny is professional, patient and knowledgeable in all aspects of golf. He was thorough in explaining what I was doing incorrectly and how I could improve. I've taken golf lessons with other people before but it was never as detailed oriented as Danny is. I would definitely recommend taking lessons with him. read more

Could not recommend Coach Danny enough. We booked a golf trip to Palm Desert for our Parents who were avid golfers. Our only goal was to be able to play a game with them, and not get in anyone's way. We booked a group of 4 lessons with Coach Danny for myself & my husband to be completed before the trip. Having never played a round and only been to a hitting range before we noticed immediate improvement in our swings after the first lesson. We had great improvement after lesson # 2 and so on. My husband had some physical limitations due to back issues and we let Coash Danny now and he tailored his training to that specific issue. So if you have any limitations or questions speak up and he is always willing to listen and adjust the training to fit you. We had some game rule questions he was happy to explain to us, but we focused most of our time on our swing since our goal was to play with family that could teach us the rules of the game. Our lessons were fun and we got a lot out of them always feeling better and better in our skills. He will even tell you if your skill is a playable skill. And we really saw that once we got out on the course. Having taken our lessons made us feel so much better once we played a round. Looking at other folks Tee off and seeing some balls go into the pool off of a course made me feel so pleased that I was able to hit so straight once on the course. We started off with a 9 hole Par 3 course and because of our lessons we really enjoyed our first game! We went back in the week to the same 9 hole and I even took 3 strokes off my game and made Par on the last hole, it was a perfect way to end our trip. Once we get more practice and rounds in I will defiantly be back for more lessons to keep improving my game. Thank you Coach Danny for making the game of Golf so fun for us! read more

Danny gets straight to it--no time wasted on fluff or filler. I've tried other (cheaper) instructors before, but honestly, most of the time felt like it was just being burned. With him, every minute counts. I learned more in just two sessions than I did in months elsewhere. You really do get what you pay for. read more

Danny Lee was a referral from one of my friends who did research online. I have to tell you Ive gone to multiple golf courses across Southern California and I was never impressed with any of the instructors I've gone to. I decided to see Danny based off of his reviews and it was the best decision I made. I came to Danny not being able to hit the ball off the ground and within 2 lessons I was hitting flush shots that I haven't hit in over 5 years. Danny takes time to go through the fundamentals and truly cares about helping you become better. I look forward to going back and can't recommend him enough to anyone who is looking for a great instructor! read more

Danny was amazing! I learned so much in my 2 lessons and feel confident improving with what I'm taking away. I came in as a beginner and was surprised how quickly Danny taught me the basics. He is patient and encouraging and has a great way of coaching and breaking down the movements! read more

I have to say this lesson exceeded my expectations. I am an 11 Handicap, recently up a couple strokes from an 8 and have been having swing issues for the past 2 years. Danny made all of his instruction's very easy to digest, and my favorite part about the lesson was his hands on approach to helping me feel things in my swing that made an immediate difference in the way I was hitting the ball. Super down to earth, and really picked up on things I wouldnt have gotten without spending time with him. I would recomend Danny to anyone from beginner to advanced, and look forward to practicing the things we worked on together. He also took great video of the entire lesson, and even posted on his instagram a very cool video documenting the progress. Thanks Danny, Will send updates of my swing soon! read more

I've been playing golf for a little over a year and wanted to take the next step in my game. I opted to take the two lessons with Danny, and couldn't be happier with my progress. The first lesson was focused on my golf mechanics (stance, grip, takeaway, etc). Definitely challenging due to all the minor (and major) tweaks that I needed to make to consistently strike the ball. I took the next couple of weeks to practice and be comfortable with everything I learned from the first lesson. Once I took my second lesson, I was able to grasp and conceptualize the remaining tweaks much easier and was able to strike the ball with less effort, more consistency, and most importantly more distance. Looking forward to continuing my golf journey with Danny read more

Message for All Golfers especially for Beginner Golfers. I cannot stress enough the importance of taking golf lessons. Golf is more fun when you know the proper basic foundation. Golf has become my addiction! Lessons with Coach Danny were invaluable! I accomplished the importance of gripping the clubs, stance, and learning the terminology. Basically, the grip affects in terms of close club face, open club face, etc. Changing one aspect of your setup makes a difference. Me before the lessons: Although I've watched golf and many YouTube golf lessons, and thinking its enough to take to the range and golf course...it wasn't enough, it only caused frustration and stress. Thank you Couch Danny for the time and patience! I now appreciate and enjoy golf even more! This review is more about the cost of Danny Lee's lesson and not his teaching skill. Initially I was told it would be $500 for 2 lessons ($250/hour) for my wife. I freaked out and Danny lowered the cost to $400 for 2 lessons. I thought this was normal pricing, but upon asking some people and Google (one of which used to be on the California professional tour) they agreed it was abnormally high, especially for beginning lesson for someone that never played golf. Danny's lesson is great, but it is not worth $500 for 2 lessons ($250 hour). On top of that, we had to buy our own range balls. Hahaha. I'm not sure if we got ripped off, but it was a mistake I will learn from. We ended up finding a club professional for less than half the price at a local golf course. They had 8 instructors and non of them were even close to $250/hour. They were all PGA certified pros. read more

I recently got done with two one hour sessions with Danny and have to say I am impressed by his knowledge of the golf swing and ability to help you improve your own! Danny is an amazing coach, and his guidance has significantly improved my golf skills over the past few months. I've seen noticeable changes in my swing, and his instruction is clear and easy to follow. Coach Danny is such a great, patient coach! My wife and I are at different skill levels but he has drills for each of us to work on to help our individual areas that we want to improve. I don't have enough great things to say about Danny's training methods! I just started golfing with my buddies and I'm the only one who is currently with an instructor. Needless to say the differences are obvious. In a little under a month I'm already comfortable hitting most irons and my form/technique is night and day from the day I started. I would highly recommend Danny for any level of golfer. His instructions are clear and he knows how to make even the slightest changes to help your game. If you're on the fence, I would say take the leap and you won't regret it. read more

First off, I'm one of the least likely people to write reviews unless I truly feel compelled to based on my experience. I would highly recommend Danny to anyone!! I've been golfing for 15 years and had taken lessons at Golftec before but felt like it became too technical and boring . I've finally gotten to a comfortable 10 index and have self diagnosed my swing for the last 5 years. But recently have gotten into a rut and decided to seek help from a coach. I couldn't have chosen better! Over the course of couple of lessons Danny quickly diagnosed my swing and gave me practical drills to follow up with. After practicing consistently over the 2 week period I saw immediate results and feel very confident and comfortable with my swing again. I feel anyone can get technical information from a launch monitor but Danny's instruction goes above and beyond that and he provides specific positions and associations that really do help realign the swing. Please, if you are seeking a high quality coach reach out to Danny and you will not be disappointed! read more

Had a wonderful experience with Danny! I'm brand new to the sport, and have long needed lessons. Found Danny on yelp and all the good reviews are accurate. Danny is very patient and cares a lot about his students learning the correct way to play golf. He believes in the fundamentals and spends a lot of time on it in the first few lessons. He'll focus also in areas you want to work on too and worked together on my goals. He also teaches drills you can do at home that are very helpful if you don't have time to get out on the range. He answered every question I had about the game and was very personable in our lessons. I have kids and sometimes I had to reschedule lessons, Danny was very accommodating and worked with my schedule. I've learned a lot about the sport from him and feel very confident I'll be able to play golf for many years to come. read more

Coach Danny is an outstanding coach. More than just a typical instructor, he really emphasizes the basics of the mechanics of a golf swing utilizing video equipment but also his keen eye for all natural movements. I personally benefitted from him breaking my swing down into several basic points and explaining what each and every movement does for my weight shift and subsequent transfer in contact. Another thing that stood out is that after I finished my initial lessons, he did not try to sell me on more immediate classes. He said "take the lessons and knowledge you now have and keep working on your swing. Once it becomes natural, then you can come back to start the next phase of classes: aim, course management, etc". I was blown away at this. I'm happy to report that my swing has DRAMATICALLY improved but most importantly my knowledge of what my body is supposed to do has expanded and grown. Not only is my swing better, but I am a much better golfer because of Coach Danny. I HIGHLY recommend him to any golfer looking to improve. He by far the best instructor I've ever met. read more

I have played the game for years but relied on my perceived athletic ability to play a decent game. I had my first session with Danny and he immediately pointed out postural tweens in my stance and backswing. I hit the ball well and felt more confident knowing a knowledgeable instructor had given me a good tip. I brought my two adult son's along as they are now interested in picking up the game. They had a great time and benefited from a golf basics lesson. I think I will bring my wife next time. I recommend you give him a opportunity to share his knowledge. He also has a calm manner about him that everyone appreciated. read more

Our 13 yr. old daughter started lesson's with Danny back in August. After going through several local programs, we were wanting more focus on skills instead of just a general knowledge about the sport. Danny has gone above and beyond in working with her. Her swing and mechanics have been sharpened in such a short amount of time, it's day and night comparing where she started and where she is now. Can't say enough good things about Danny. He is a professional and an all around great coach. read more
