I've been playing golf for many years and like many others I'm always striving to get better. About 4 years ago I was shopping for an instructor that could help me move to the next level in my golf game. After kicking some tires (interviewing several teachers), I decided to work with Hatty and it has been the best decision I've made in golf. I consider myself to be a good athlete but was struggling with striking the ball consistently and controlling the direction. What I really like about Hatty is that he teaches me to be aware of what my body is doing and how it causes the club to effect the ball in relation to my target. He has made me aware of the 9 ball flight laws so I can assess my shot making and make corrections when needed. As he says "the ball will tell you what you did." I'm not saying that I hit it pure, but repeating my mistakes has been reduced greatly! Hatty has a wealth of experience and his commitment to my success is unmatched by instructors I've had before. He uses video, drills and aids to help me develop and maintain good fundamentals. He is coaching me to own my golf swing (not everyone swings it the same), and to play to my strengths while improving the weaknesses, which has really helped my play on the course....after all this is what it's all about! I recently received a gift certificate from a family member to see Hatty for some more help. I was so happy...Hatty has a great personality and I enjoy spending time with him. He is patient and his positive approach is conducive to learning. I recently posted a score of 36 (even par) for 9 holes, my best in some time and without his help this would not have been possible. OMG Craig is the best golf instructor!! I have never really been a fan of golf. All of my girl friends learned and started playing years ago and I just never got into it. After hearing all the stories and seeing all the freaking selfies of them having so much fun I had to find out what all the fuss was about. They told me about Craig and so I reluctantly signed up for some lessons. OMG this was so FUN!! He has a video system that was so cool. He fitted me for my club. And who would have ever guessed that I would need to be fitted for balls! hehehe He knows everything you would ever need to know about golf. He has all kinds of teaching tools that make it so fun and interesting. I honestly thought it was going to be dull and boring : ( However it was never that for even one minute. I really love going to my lessons. I have been going for about 6 months and love it. All of my girlfriends were right about golf and Craig. We are having so much fun and even they are surprised at how quickly I caught on and how good I am. I would like to say it is just natural talent but it isn't. Craig is such a wonderful coach, it really is his special combination of humor, experience and brilliance that has brought out the "Tiger" in me. Craig is the man! I work the grind 9-5 five days a week. That doesn't leave a lot of time for the greens. I had a bad slice and struggled my way through 18 holes but have always loved the game of golf. Now I am hitting it like never before. Even though I don't have the luxury of golfing on a regular basis, the stuff I learn from Craig doesn't go away. I have worked with him a few lessons at a time for a couple of years and I just keep getting better and better.  I am a visual kind of guy and he has this video system that lets you see what you are doing and he works with that and gives you clear instruction that makes it easy to understand and apply. I improve instantly and it sticks! Something that I can say has never really happened before with any other golf instructor. His teaching is great and he is a really nice guy. He is easy going and patient. The time spent with him feels like an investment cause it just keeps paying me back every time I play. He cured my slice and I love my time on the links now. Even going to hit balls after work is fun now cause I can see how much better I am now then I was before I started with Craig. I highly recommend him to anyone wanting to improve their game. Where is the 10 star button??!! I have always wanted to be able to hold my own on the golf course whenever I go golfing with the guys/girls at work. I have tried lessons from all different kinds of golf instructors at different golf courses all over Orange County and Los Angeles County. I did improve a little over the years with each lesson I had, however my experience with Craig's teaching was in a single word "AMAZING"!! He is a PGA professional with 34 years of teaching experience and let me tell...the things he knows about golf are astounding. I was so surprised that just by watching me swing and hit the ball he was able to tell me exactly where my weaknesses were and that by working with my own bodies natural strengths and weaknesses I was able to lower my golf score. I wanted to learn how to hit it straighter, hit it further and have a lower score. The mechanics of it all are much more then I could ever explain but Craig will work his magic and have you ruling the course. He is more then a golf instructor. He is a coach. With his guidance my golf swing looks GOOOOD and is soooooo much more accurate then it has ever been. I now consistently have lower scores!!!!! I learned how to golf over twenty years ago. I have had lots of lessons from many different instructors. From time to time I need an occasional tune up on my swing or find certain aspects to some of the courses I play too challenging to master. A friend of mine told me about Craig and so when it was time for my tune up I called him. I have never enjoyed any lesson as much as I did with Craig. Not only is this one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, he really knows his stuff. From top to bottom he was able to improve every aspect of my game. He checked my club and ball fit. He was able to  identify where my body alignment was off, and by bringing that back into balance, my swing is straighter, longer and consistently accurate. I had no idea how important the condition of my body was in relation to the accuracy of my shots. I highly recommend him to everyone I know. Hatty has been my swing coach for over 10 years now. I've stayed with him because he gets results and is honest as the day is long. Anytime my game slips, I sign up for a few lessons and he gets me straightened out in short order. When I first started with Craig, my goal was to start playing city golf tournaments. Craig gave me the confidence to give it a go and I've had a blast ever since. Of course Craig has all of the tools, including video and swing aids, but his secret is a deep understanding of the golf swing and how to apply it to different people. Hatty has been my swing coach for about three years now. Before that time, I had seen several pros and none really helped.. Since starting with him, he has greatly improved my game. Before seeing him, I really had no idea as to the cause and effect of my golf swing and was not able to determine what exactly was wrong when the wheels fell off inevitably during my round. Now when things do go in the wrong direction, Im able to make the adjustments needed in my golf swing. Im hitting it longer straighter and much more consistently.
