So I took the offered Golf Lesson and I was not disappointed. The restaurant offered amazing options. The avocado toast was just want I needed to get my day going. The balsamic vinaigrette just added that extra pop that made it sooooo good. The course is so impressive for such a "small" Navy town. The instructor, Lloyd and John were amazing and made the class fun. I can't say this loud enough, this is an amazing facility and if you have access to it you better use it.

We were able to walk on today. No problems. They even packed me a few beers on ice to take to the course. The process was pretty easy And today we played the cruiser course. (Exec. Par 3) We really enjoyed ourselves And enjoyed watching the kids.Learn to play around us. Plenty of adults as well! The facility is really nice And very well cared for. Can't wait to return

Great sunny day at Seal Beach Navy Golf Course celebrating our friend Tristen before he leaves for boot camp. The course was in great shape--clean, well maintained, and the greens were especially well kept. Pace of play was perfect, which made the round even more enjoyable. Overall, a solid experience and a great spot for a relaxed and memorable day on the course. Would definitely come back.

Amazing! Relaxed!!! I joined my husband this afternoon. We stopped by club house and had onion rings. The portion is generous, only $5. Eating inside club house w the nice view is peaceful. Most of menus are around $13. Burger, sandwich, tacos, salad, nacho, onion rings, and a lot more. The practice range is quiet, nice around 12:30 on Monday. I love the putting area to improve my putting skill w great lake view. Peaceful!!! Beautiful!!! I saw a couple of jets flew right next our practice range. Very noisy but awesome. Today was like Air Show here. Haha...

I got invited to a small civic group meeting in this place and I was impressed with how easy parking was, how relaxing the atmosphere is, how cozy the lobby is. The food was good and I heard the food rates, as well as the function room rentals are very fair.

Nice day for a round with friends.

Took time off of work to join friends on a round of golf. Place is amazing and the weather was perfect. You got to try this course as it's a great place to work on your swing. Going back again with another crowd of friends to introduce them to this place ..

My friends and I didn't golf, but we had a wonderful time at the Navy Golf Course. We met for a Bible study and lunch, and it was the perfect setting. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, and the outdoor seating is so serene. I highly recommend the grilled chicken cobb salad--it was fantastic. I'll definitely be back to enjoy this peaceful place.

If you're an avid golf fan you should know the history of this course and Tiger growing up around here. Yeah he used to sneak onto the 13th after hours with his father to play when they were super poor. This golf club has 2 different courses, cruiser (9 hole) and destroyer (18 hole). Yes its majority catered towards military to get a tee time. You will need your military ID during checkin or even just to book it online. The green fees are tiered here based on your military category E1-E7+, DOD, vet or civilian. ($13-$56). Cart fee is extra $16-17. They do offer full bag set rentals too for those on tour or traveling. This is definitely a high quality club house for our military! It's pretty much impossible to book a tee time for civilians esp on the destroyer course. Yeah you might get some 9hole times here and there. It's been a few years since we've played here but the range is now off mats instead of off grass. Not sure if its select days off grass now. The bucket prices did go down though. Small bucket is now $3, large bucket $5. The full pitching area is still next to the range with a 3 holes and bunkers available for practice. The course conditions have always been top notch. The greens are in perfect conditions and ready for any tourny. The course itself isn't super difficult with wide flat fairways. 6780 yards off the back blue with 72.6/129 rating. It's a great course for all skill levels. Pace of play is absolutely smooth as there is minimal waits between groups. We finished our round in about 4.5 hours. If there are VIP groups they'll block out entire time slots and they may have security details if you see a large group of carts moving together. Note they have drained the majority of the water hazards to save water! They are still OB but at least you can pickup your lost ball and take some more stuck in the dirt lol. There are no cart services here but there is a full snack shack with fake starbucks logo at 12. There are full restroom buildings available at holes at 6 and 12. Note you don't get back to the clubouse at the turn so hit the restroom at 12 and pickup your beers, shots and snacks! Still one of my top 3 favorite courses but again gotta get your military buddies to book your tee times for you! It's cool seeing the military planes in the back 9 too. If you're lucky you'll see a takeoff!

3 hour front nine? Are you kidding me? Manage your course better ffs. Such a shame. Every hole was filled with at least parties waiting.

Great short course. They have put a lot more effort into the grounds. Good for riding or walking.

Ask the Community - Navy Golf Course Seal Beach

    Is driving range open?

    Yes, it is!

When are they going to open for public again?

They're open for tee times, but for some reason my coworker who is ex-army had to walk in to get a tee time. You'll have better luck with a group of 3 or 4. Singles don't seem to be getting love right now.

This review is just for the driving range…read more I had a membership at Coyote Hills but after they increased their pricing ($85/mo?), I went to find a cheaper place that was still decent and Dad Miller is it. At $45/mo with lights at night, it's a great deal for anyone local looking to hit a few balls without too long of a wait. Peak times are probably weekdays after 6pm and weekends. I tend to go either at lunch or around 4:30pm and haven't waited over 10 minutes. My photos don't show it but in the past month or so, they also added barriers between each bay. The mats were of fine quality to me but I chatted with another golfer and they weren't as happy about it so that just depends on the person. I've been fortunate enough to mostly come here during off-peak hours but I've been a few times during peak hours too and notice the issues that other people might be referring to. There are sometimes people who will hit bucket after bucket with no etiquette despite others waiting for a bay. There will also be people resting a little too long on the sidelines while still taking up a bay. These aren't issues that arise during off-peak hours though so if you're lucky enough to be able to come then, the price is worth it.

Customer service is top notch here. I've never seen a business actually take in feed back so well…read more TDLR: We came in Feb and we didn't have the best experience. Our friend broke a club here and the policy at the time was that the rentee had to pay for the price of a brand new club even though they were renting a used club. after voicing my opinion, they decided to change the policy and agreed that people who break a rental club should just pay for the value of a used golf club. I've never seen a business go above and beyond and meet customers in the middle ground like that so it really meant a lot to me. We came back again in March again and service was significantly better. They were very attentive and were very helpful with showing us how to work the machines. There are a lot of different play modes but putting is one of my faves because I suck at swinging. The private rooms are really cool's because you can sing & swing at the same time!! The best of both worlds if u have friends that don't really golf but wanna hang c: Food here is bomb!! lowkey better than a lot of pocha spots. The kimchi pasta and rose dukbokki are so tasty and the Korean fried chicken is so fire. The honey garlic was my fave flavor for the friend chicken. Parking here is also super easy. There's a giant lot and it's never really an issue. Overall this is a great establishment with really good food, golf, and karaoke all in one!!

Golf Plus is an absolute blast with friends…read more The setup is perfect for group hangouts--especially the private rooms, which are clutch since they also have karaoke. You can screen golf, take breaks, sing terribly, then jump right back in. It makes the whole experience feel more like a night out than just a golf session. Pricing is actually pretty reasonable once you split it with the group, especially considering how long you can hang out and how much you're getting out of it. Also... the food is way better than expected. The fried chicken and pasta are legit restaurant-level quality, not the usual "entertainment venue food." Honestly impressed. Great vibes, great food, great group activity. Easy 5 stars and a spot I'd happily come back to.
