Excellent ambience! Went here for an Easter buffet, they had a wide variety of options to choose from. Moreover, we were able to enjoy the view of the golf course!

We recently had our wedding at Coyote Hills Golf Course. The events team at CHGC are the best! They truly care for each event that is held at their property. We were lucky to tour Coyote Hills at their wedding show and instantly fell in love with the space. Their outdoor arbor is beautiful for ceremony and we could not pass up having our reception there as well. Our wedding was perfect because the arbor was the most stunning backdrop for our special day. We worked closely with Hannah as our on-site event contact. Hannah is professional in every sense of the word - kind, caring, responsive, and helpful. She was an integral part of throughout the wedding process and answered our many emails/phone calls without hesitation. The way Hannah handled an anxious bride like me eased a lot of wedding nerves. Jourdan was our day-of lead and was equally as amazing as Hannah. She was kind and helped us navigate throughout the day. We brought a lot of our own items for our wedding without any issues. Keep in mind that there is a 10pm noise ordinance if you decide to have your wedding outdoors. Also, highly recommend checking out their wedding shows for incentives to book!

I visited this venue for a Sunday late afternoon wedding. I was immediately surprised by the ample self parking and that it was directly at the entrance. Nothing beats convenient and easy parking. We immediately were approached by a staff member in a cart to drive us around back to the ceremony location. Pleasant surprise and amazing customer service. The seating was beautifully decorated and the ambiance was spectacular. We then were guided to the terrace area for hors d'oeuvres and open bar. Again the staff was top tier, along with the coconut shrimp and bruschetta. The organization of how they then guided us into the ballroom for the reception dinner was perfect. I had salmon and it was cooked great and the glaze was amazing. The celebration continued with dancing and socializing. I'd definitely recommend anyone here for a wedding.

One of the signature holes- 7 I think?

As a Fullerton local I'm a big fan of the Coyote Hills membership. It's the only way I can play this track and not pay and arm and a leg. The membership does make the driving range quite crowded, but I swing by 2-3 times a week for practice, and I never have to wait more than 5-10 minutes for a spot to open up. The course is well kept, but as others have said they do paint the fairways for a good chunk of the year. That takes away from the conditions of a course like this. I also think Coyote hills is a bit expensive for what you get. The only way I can justify playing is by being a member. Most weekends are over $100 even with the membership. $100 is about the most I would pay to play here. Because the playing cost without the membership is pretty high it's hard to get some of my friends to play here, understandably. I give the overall membership and course 4 stars. I've never had a bad experience here and I come here quite often. Pace of play is usually pretty good. All of the starters here are great and take their job seriously, including Bill. The Marshals actually monitor pace of play which is becoming more and more rare. The price for value isn't always the greatest though.

Bill is the best!

There's no assigned bays, just get your buckets and find an empty bay and grab a California burrito in the way out. First driving range I've been to that had music playing, very family friendly environment. The music was also mainstream and kind of low in volume, so it doesn't impact your game too much if you're really trying to focus. It was extremely busy and had the overflow parking in use but still managed to find parking and a handful of empty bays at peak evening timing. They take contactless payment and cash and have nice kiosks to order food and drinks from, as well as QR code ordering to order from your bay - you still have to go grab it yourself. As for the food, the tacos were forgettable. I enjoyed the tortilla and the salsas but the meat flavor and quality were just fine. Not a taqueria but also not trying to be. The asada California burrito was great actually, paired well with the red salsa, decent size as well. A little pricier but concession food typically isn't this good, so I'll pay the price. Cajun fries were very good also. Food was out in like 5 minutes and very fresh. I'd like to return to try the breakfast burritos I've heard so much about. Will 100% come back, about a 30-40 minute drive for me but well worth the drive.

The food seals it: grabbed a tasty burrito and crispy fries (with dips!) and ate overlooking the water--perfect combo. Friendly staff, solid prices, and way better than a standard range. Highly recommend for golf + good eats in OC! (Pro tip: Hit it mid-day for fewer crowds and killer views.)

That guy. Then after losing like seven balls at Canyon crest and shooting in the upper 90s again, I finally humbled myself and realized I might need a coach In my business life- coaching had paid for itself many times over and I finally widened up and thought "why not golf too" Maybe you relate, I'd been trying to bake a cake with a million different recipes on YouTube and I knew that if I was humble enough to go and copy someone else's playbook from top to bottom just maybe I might stand a chance When I met Jay, I could tell right away, this guy knows his stuff and he spoke my language, "biomechanical efficiency", "anatomical limits", "isometric tension", and on and on You see I'm a skeptic and I'm pretty critical by nature and I challenge everything, but anything I threw at Jay he had a response for, and not only that he was able to redirect me and tell me where I'm not even asking the right questions I must admit I'm a difficult person to work with. I'm an eight on the Enneagram (a challenger), and not only is Jay gifted in his golf system, but also in his soft skills, such as being able to handle challenging people. He knew when to step on the gas and push me and he knew when I just needed a nice cold Gatorade cause I was about to explode Today I finally broke 80. He told me I would within 6 months of his coaching... and we made it Cheers Jay, to a true coach. There's no guessing, no gimmicks, and no "feel-only" advice that leaves you confused the next time something goes wrong. After my lessons, I walked away not only hitting the ball better, but actually owning my swing. Jay helped me understand why I miss, how to diagnose issues on my own, and--most importantly--exactly what to do to fix them. That confidence is a game-changer. What really stands out is how they make golf fun again. Instead of chasing tips, I now have the B.E.S.T. framework that makes improvement logical and repeatable. The before-and-after difference after a single lesson was eye-opening, and it's only reinforced that this is the right way to learn the game. 1 Star - Absolute Disgrace of a "Member" Experience…read more This is hands down one of the worst-run golf operations I've ever encountered--and that's coming from a paying member who has spent a substantial amount of money at this course. My experience unraveled the very first time I attempted to use my member points. Due to staff incompetence, my account "couldn't be found," which caused me to miss my scheduled tee time entirely. Let that sink in: I showed up on time, did everything right, and still lost my tee time because your employee couldn't do their job. The recovery? Laughable. I was offered another tee time thirty minutes later, during daylight savings, effectively ruining the round and wasting my entire trip to the course. No urgency. No accountability. No meaningful apology. Just indifference. And then there's management--if you can even call it that. I was told the General Manager works from home and is only physically present one day a week. For a business that survives on memberships, this is an absolute joke. When members have real issues, no leadership is available. Problems are simply passed along--or more accurately, ignored. I reached out directly to express my frustration and concerns. The response from the GM? None. Silence. Completely ignored. That alone tells you everything you need to know about how this course treats its members once they already have your money. This isn't just poor customer service--it's a systemic failure: * Staff errors that cost members their tee times * No effective problem resolution * Absent, unreachable management * Zero follow-up or accountability If you're thinking about becoming a member here, don't. Your money is welcome, but your time, experience, and loyalty clearly are not. When something goes wrong--and it will--you'll be dismissed, delayed, and ultimately ignored. Save yourself the frustration. There are far better courses that actually value the people who support them.
