1 Star - Absolute Disgrace of a "Member" Experience This is hands down one of the worst-run golf operations I've ever encountered--and that's coming from a paying member who has spent a substantial amount of money at this course. My experience unraveled the very first time I attempted to use my member points. Due to staff incompetence, my account "couldn't be found," which caused me to miss my scheduled tee time entirely. Let that sink in: I showed up on time, did everything right, and still lost my tee time because your employee couldn't do their job. The recovery? Laughable. I was offered another tee time thirty minutes later, during daylight savings, effectively ruining the round and wasting my entire trip to the course. No urgency. No accountability. No meaningful apology. Just indifference. And then there's management--if you can even call it that. I was told the General Manager works from home and is only physically present one day a week. For a business that survives on memberships, this is an absolute joke. When members have real issues, no leadership is available. Problems are simply passed along--or more accurately, ignored. I reached out directly to express my frustration and concerns. The response from the GM? None. Silence. Completely ignored. That alone tells you everything you need to know about how this course treats its members once they already have your money. This isn't just poor customer service--it's a systemic failure: * Staff errors that cost members their tee times * No effective problem resolution * Absent, unreachable management * Zero follow-up or accountability If you're thinking about becoming a member here, don't. Your money is welcome, but your time, experience, and loyalty clearly are not. When something goes wrong--and it will--you'll be dismissed, delayed, and ultimately ignored. Save yourself the frustration. There are far better courses that actually value the people who support them. read more

Review 99/365 Day Challenge Came here on a Saturday for a 2:30 pm Tee Time. It was Harper's 2nd time playing here @ Birch w Daddie along w Auntie Sai & Unc Mo09.27.25 It was a busy afternoon on a Saturday with us literally having to go exactly @ Tee Time, when we asked associate if we can possibly go 10 mins early. Golf carts are easy to drive. The golf course has seen better days but apparently they just did the grass maintenance so it was a bit un even in some areas along the grass area. Per my husband. Course is decently cleaned. 18th hole is near the lake. There is a small cafe for some bites and drinks. Lots of parking available. FYI ~ no Cart girl going around selling drunks etc. per associate they haven't had a cart girl for 2 years read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. The owners/managers have not a single clue. Range is constantly closed on PERFECT days with nobody doing maintenance. Course tee boxes are god AWFUL. Putting green is nice but there isn't a single place you can chip unless you're a high schooler(?). WEIRD. They close the whole place on days it so little as drizzles. They charge way too much for a range with mats that have undulations. AND they close it at 8 when they have full lighting. Overall the worst golf course/practice center in the ENTIRE Orange County. What a waste of a good place. Total joke. read more

Tee off was on time. Not all the bunkers had sand in them. That needs to be remedied ASAP.

This place went downhill. The pro shop staff is awesome, hence the two stars, but the starters need an attitude check. All of them are rude and act like they are working for employee of the month. Course conditions are fair at best. Play somewhere else in the area if you can. 40 bucks for a tee time after 2pm on a weekday is a joke. read more

As a member, I always have a good time at Birch. Great course and good food. Try to get out there at least once a week.

This is probably one of my favorite golf courses in Orange County. They do a great job maintaining the course. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The clubhouse is always clean and the service is excellent. The food is delicious and I love that they change up the menu twice a year. I wish for two things. One is that they bring back live music on the weekends and the other would be to have a beverage cart on the course. Other than that, the place is awesome! read more

Nice Golf Course for being an Executive Style. But it is 18 Holes. Fairways were nice and greens were a little beat up, and Sand Traps were very firm, but was fun. Nice staff members and good selection of beverages and food items in the club house. I wouldn't want to play here in the middle of summer as it got really hot yesterday. Nice golf course. Super bad staff in the shop. Not helpful, have unnecessary attitude on small questions. Many time they literally hang up the phone on you - you can hear them pick up and hang up. I try to avoid them as much as possible. Train them please or hire different people. They spoil the experience of an otherwise good course. read more

Very friendly staff. They have new golf carts. The course is in great shape. I love their cafe and bar. It is very popular so it is hard to get a tee time until late afternoon. My only complaint is that they need to refill the sand bunkers. many of the bunkers have very little sand and the bunker on the 18th hole has no sand. read more
