TaylorMade Spider 5K-ZT

First off, keep in mind their return policy provides NO REFUNDS even on brand new, untouched purchases. Store credit only, no exceptions. "Customer service is our #1 priority." is written in all responses to negative reviews. Meanwhile, Roger Dunn completely disregards treating you with class and equity regardless of background. I'll echo the same sentiments from many other visitors. I walked in ready to purchase one of their $500-$650 zero-torque putters without delay considering the club fitting "experience" they promote and a tee time the next morning. I presume because I don't fit their profile, I was dismissed--no assistance, recommendations, or pre-purchase service. In the putting area, I asked to remove the wrapper on a demo I was about to buy (only variant left) to ensure no blemishes or differences in feel. An older man denied my request even though half the other putters were unwrapped. I asked what the difference is if they advertise a 90-day satisfaction policy. "Not on L.A.B.s." was the terse response without clarification. The venue is said to have a knowledgeable staff but they all seemed like grumpy mutes. The simulators and hitting bays were largely unused and many staff had nothing to do. Yet after being ignored for nearly three hours, they were suddenly busy and rushed me out as closing time approached. Toward the end, a young lady said I have to pay $150 if I wanted any club selection service before my purchase. Nope, the store was just closing. I ended up just buying the TaylorMade Spider 5K-ZT putter (as there were unwrapped models to test). The only employee that had any semblance of courtesy was the Asian cashier. If you're a serious golfer or expect a proper fitting before spending real money, skip this location. As demonstrated, Roger Dunn doesn't take action to rectify complaints. From my experience: 1. PGA Superstore in Irvine have an excellent staff, demo freedom, and open fittings. 2. Club Champion in Santa Ana have data-driven putter fittings and true customization. 3. Golf Galaxy in Tustin have great service, variety, and honest engagement. I spent over $5k here between 2007-2008 but no more. Golf should be about precision and respect--both are bankrupt at Roger Dunn Santa Ana.

How much is it for shaft fitting?

Thanks for reaching out, Hermann! The cost of the fitting would depend on if it's just for one club category, or a full bag. The cost would be $75 for one club category, or $150 for a full bag fitting. If you have any questions, feel free to call us…

MY QUEST FOR WOMEN'S SNOW PANTS…read more.. I was in need of buying my own pair of snow pants for an upcoming snowboarding trip where I did not want to spend too much, but wanted some quality pants that wouldn't rip after one use. let me tell you... I searched far and wide! I first initially searched on amazon and all of those seemed to be poor quality for those under $40 and I could not try on so I opted to not buy online. I then went to nearby stores (REI - best quality, most expensive & Dick's Sporting Goods - middle of REI & Big 5 with pants around $60 and slightly better quality than Big 5). my last stop was at Big 5 (I also happened to get in the mail a day before I went a $10 of $30 purchase!) and was pleasantly surprised! I had not been to Big 5 in years, but they have almost everything packed into this relatively small store!!!! from camping to snow gear to sports gear they had a wide selection. I was going in February so it was nice to see they had a whole rack or two for snow pants and I found a pair of pants for $40 that fit perfect for my height and may not have been as thick as REI/Dick's but it still was a easier and better design but cheaper with a quality that would hold going a few times a year. when checking out I used my coupon for $10 off and to my surprised the pants were also on sale for another $5 off... so in total my good quality snow pants were $25!!!!!!! CAN YOU BEAT THAT?! PROS: -really nice, chill staff and didn't even look down upon me for using a coupon! they even made conversation so I really liked this place -the discounts they normally have! -every couple of weeks I get mailed a coupon for $10 of $30 and this came much in handy! -the variety -low prices -changing rooms (2) -easy, huge parking lot CONS: -none! OVERALL: do not be a fool, look at Big 5 along with the other big name chains and you won't regret it!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at The Path Bike Shop regarding the purchase and…read moredelivery of my 2027 Orbea Wild. I placed a 20% deposit on the bike on July 13. On August 11, Dorothy informed me that the bike was built and essentially ready to go, except that they were waiting on one part from Orbea/Avinox that I was told Brian had personally ordered. More than a month later, on September 14 at approximately 1:00 PM, I received a text from Raul telling me that my bike was completely finished and ready for pickup. Unfortunately, when I arrived, there was absolutely no proper delivery or setup process for a high-end e-bike of this complexity. Nobody walked me through the Avinox system or helped me sync and set up the bike with my phone, even though the Orbea Wild with the Avinox system must be properly connected and configured before use. Nobody adjusted the suspension for my weight, and there was no indication that the bike had received a proper final setup, safety inspection, or test ride. When I attempted to ride the bike for the first time, I discovered numerous problems that should have been identified before I was ever told the bike was finished and ready for pickup. The front fork had only approximately 50 PSI in it, while the HSC, LSC, and rebound settings were turned to their highest settings. The rear shock also had the rebound and LSC turned all the way to maximum. The RockShox hose clamp that secures the front brake line was missing. The front fender I had ordered was also missing, despite the bike having sat at The Path for approximately six weeks. Even more concerning, the rear derailleur was not functioning properly. Not all gears could be used, and the drivetrain was extremely noisy. None of the batteries on the bike were charged above approximately 30%. Most seriously, the brakes did not appear to have been properly bled. The brake levers could be pulled almost completely to the handlebars. Delivering a new e-MTB to a customer in that condition raises a serious safety concern. What makes this situation even more frustrating is the reason I was given for the six-week delay. Brian and Dorothy repeatedly told me they were waiting for a specific part. Eventually, I sourced the required part directly from TRP myself. I ordered it and had it delivered to my home within two days. I then personally brought the part to The Path on September 13 so the build could finally be completed. Based on that experience, I have serious concerns about whether the part I was repeatedly told had been ordered was actually ordered or actively being pursued. Had I not located and purchased the part myself, I have no reason to believe my bike would have been completed when it was. This was not an inexpensive bicycle or a simple build. A 2027 Orbea Wild equipped with the Avinox system is a sophisticated, high-performance e-MTB, and I expected a professional build, proper suspension setup, functioning drivetrain, properly bled brakes, charged batteries, installation of the parts I ordered, a complete Avinox setup, and a final safety inspection before the bike was handed over to me. Instead, after waiting more than six weeks, I was told the bike was "finished" and "ready for pickup" when it clearly was not properly set up, inspected, or prepared to be ridden. For a shop with The Path's reputation and experience, this level of service and quality control is unacceptable. My biggest concern is not simply the delays or missing parts--it is that I was handed a brand-new e-bike with multiple setup problems and potentially serious safety issues and was told it was complete. I expected far better communication, accountability, workmanship, and attention to safety from The Path Bike Shop. All I hope for is for my bike to be fixed accordingly.

A Thank You to Trek Bike…read more I want to share how much I appreciate the care and integrity Trek bike has shown with my Parlee bike. From the moment I brought my bike in, it was clear these folks actually know what they're doing--and more importantly, they respect their customers enough to be straight with them. What stood out most is how transparent they were. No upsells, no unnecessary work pitched just to pad the bill. They took time to understand what my bike needed and gave me honest advice. That kind of straightforwardness is rare and it made a real difference in how much I trust them. But here's what really impressed me: they caught a factory recall on my Shimano crank power meter and offered to replace it without charging me a dime. Most shops would've either missed it or found a way to bill me for the service. Not Trek. They went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of, no cost to me. That's the kind of thing that tells you a lot about a business. Special thanks to Caleb--he was instrumental in taking care of my bike and making sure everything was handled right. Bryce was equally knowledgeable and friendly throughout the process too. The whole team is genuinely skilled and personable. It makes the whole experience easier--you're not second-guessing whether they understand what they're talking about. You just know they do. I'm grateful to have a shop I can trust with my bike, and people like Caleb and Bryce who actually care about doing the work right. Trek bike has earned my confidence, and I won't hesitate to bring them my business again.

On the day of the party, the staff was amazing. They jumped in to help my friends set up before I even arrived. Throughout the night, they were extraordinarily generous hosts, letting our guests enjoy the golf simulators and putting green, which ended up being a huge hit. This spot is right across the street from our house, and my wife and I wanted to try it solely because it was all over TikTok. Everybody was blasting this new golf club coffee spot saying how amazing it was, and since we love golf and love matcha, we obviously had to come check it out. I ended up getting the Pecan Prix, which took me a second to remember, and this drink was actually really good. I was honestly kinda shocked at how good it was. It was actually sweet, and the pecan and maple cream top came through really well. I usually don't like maple or pecan paired with matcha, that flavor combo is something I'd never expect to work, but this was nutty, sweet, with a balanced creaminess to it, and the matcha wasn't overpowering at all. Perfect blend. I liked it so much I ended up getting it three more times after that first visit. My wife got a regular cream top matcha and we actually had to take that one back. The matcha flavor wasn't quite there, and then once they added a little more matcha, the cream top wasn't sweet enough, it kinda just tasted like a milky foam. But the barista, this younger gentleman, was super helpful and understanding, he really cared and helped us out by remaking it and adjusting it to exactly what we were expecting. Overall the place is very cool and I can totally see why it thrives on TikTok. The whole area is vibey with the miniature putt putt and the virtual driving range, which is really nice. We didn't get to try the food but it does look pretty good. Now here's the biggest headache with this place. You can't actually stay and hang out or get any work done unless you're a member. In my opinion that's honestly the dumbest thing and a huge gap in how they could easily be making good money. The drinks and food are all great, but you basically get your stuff and then have to leave. You can hang for a little bit, but before long someone comes up asking if you're a member, and if you're not, you can't really be there. That's a bit of a headache. I don't know if they've changed it since, but not the best in my opinion. Otherwise I'd honestly go here a lot more often.

No big deal, right? Dick's has a clearly stated 90-day return policy, and I walked in well within that timeframe--receipt in hand, ready for a simple exchange or store credit. That was far too optimistic. The staff was unhelpful, dismissive, and utterly unwilling to assist. Their reasoning? The cleats had been worn. Silly me! I didn't realize cleats bought for playing soccer were supposed to sit in a glass display case as a decorative centerpiece. Nobody mentioned this "pristine condition only" rule at checkout, and there isn't a single word about it printed on the receipt--which explicitly states items can be returned within 90 days. To top off the customer service experience, the staff casually informed me that this ripping is a "known defect" with this Adidas model and told me to take it up with the manufacturer. That raises a fascinating question: If you knowingly stock and sell a defective $300 product, why is your immediate response to wipe your hands clean and push the problem onto the customer? If Dick's Sporting Goods wants to sell luxury-priced gear with zero accountability and a return policy that only applies to items you never actually use, they should print that on the receipt instead. Save yourself the headache and buy your gear somewhere that actually stands behind what they sell.
