One of my favorite quick go to spots in a PINCH. I usually go to get my clubs re-gripped since Roger Dunn is way too far and sometimes the wait time can be lengthy. Call ahead before going if you need your clubs re-gripped or worked on. read more

Needed to look for a new place to service my clubs because PGA Superstore completely botched my 5w reshaft and the head flew off less than a month later. Anyways, gave Golf Exchange a shot since they're a small business and read great reviews. I believe whoever helped me is the owner. He had such great customer service and was very attentive to my needs as only a small business can provide. That alone made me feel like I had made the right decision in coming here. Had my driver cut and regripped. He did it quickly and exact. Based on that alone, I'm sure the 5w will be perfect as well when I go pick it up tomorrow. Plus, their prices are very competitive. There is no better golf store serving the Southbay than Golf Exchange. They've been in business for well over 40 years that I know of and their high standards have not changed since relocating from downtown Los Angeles. Their staff is knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and well versed in their product line. The equipment they sell is always high quality items. There are big box stores all around town but they never seem to match the quality and uniqueness of Golf Exchange products. It is certainly a golfing jewel in the Southbay! read more

Incredibly helpful service, friendly staff, and terrific value. Today I took my son here to replace a broken driver. The gentleman who helped us located a comparable used club, and then offered to size and regrip it. He said it would take twenty minutes. It only took six or so, and it all cost less than twenty dollars. We were surprised, and couldn't have been more pleased with the whole experience. Immediately recommended the store to my dad who's an avid golfer, and didn't know about the place. We will definitely come back. (Also, we're caucasian, as if that matters. Two of the other ratings for this establishment are from people who think there's an anti-white bias here. We saw none of that. The employee who helped us was the model of excellent customer service. Just discovered this little local golf shop right down the street from my office. The people that operate the store are friendly and helpful. I stopped in to see about getting my driver regripped -- they did it on the spot, very inexpensively. While waiting for my driver, I found a 3 wood that I liked and after trying it out at their "indoor range", I picked it up at a reasonable price also. BTW, I was the only white person in the store at the time (all Asians), but I never felt overlooked or singled out because of it. I think this is my new go-to golf shop. read more

I went in today looking for a new Driver. I believe the gentleman that helped me was the owner. He was quite knowledgeable about the particular Taylor Made driver I was looking for and allowed me to try a few different models with different shaft stiffness. I ended up getting the M-2 and he gave me an excellent price. I have just returned from the range and am excited with how well I hit it. Looking forward to shopping here again. Very friendly service and didn't try and push the more expensive club on me. read more

I went in to find some used clubs. I am a 5'10" woman so I need to use senior men's clubs for the length and weight. The staff was extremely helpful. I am going back (over a year later) to buy the rest of what I need. I can not comprehend the two reviews accusing them of racism. I did not experience that at all. Went here when I needed a travel bag. The selection of bags was good, they had everything from regular bags to hard cases and travel bags. I didn't pay close attention to the other part of the store, but it was about the size of other specialty golf shops I've been in. The staff was helpful. Only thing that really stuck out was the parking situation was bad! I had to park in a $2/15 min lot because it was the cheapest one around. I would have stuck around and checked out the store if there was better parking. read more

No service- I'm not Asian so I guess I don't get helped. I walked in the shoes they have didn't see a size above 9 - should of been my first sign to being prejudice against people with feet larger than Asians. I walked around for 10 minutes as they 4-5 people talked in some Asian language and was not asked one time if I needed help or had questions- I went there to buy 3 Taylor made brand 3 wood 5 wood and fair way wood - most clubs I found had no price and the ones I did find were cheap but had abbreviations on them so I'm assuming some sort of shaft defect but I could never get helped I walked up to a lady to ask a question and she did the scared Asian look and quickly moved out of my way - I suggest you go elswhere read more

Awesome store the people who work here are helpful and i got very HIGH END clubs including a 4 and 3 wood and a putter for 230 bucks!!! He adjusted the shafts towards my size and gave me a few tip on the clubs. Also gave me free club heads for all three clubs. Couldnt be happier!! read more

Very poor trade-in value on clubs, don't waste your time. If you need to buy clubs, you'll get a better deal and have a better fitting experience at Plaza Golf, it's only a couple miles away. You'll be glad you made the drive. read more
