I recently finished about three years' worth of lessons with Paul, and it has been life-changing…read more Originally, I came to GolfTec because I really wanted to be able to see/replay my swing when I practice. Over the years I tried taking a few lessons here and there with different instructors with little to no success. Eventually my poor form combined with swinging as hard as I could (and also lifting weights in the gym) resulted in injuries to my elbow, shoulder, and back. What I really wanted to do was create an efficient, smooth swing that I can use for the rest of my life, as I had always imagined golfing in retirement. When I came for my evaluation, Eddie had me try a few things, and then he was brutally honest with me and said he probably shouldn't be my instructor (I was way too "armsy" which was not a good match for how he taught), so he referred me to Paul. It stung a little to hear that, but it turned out to be for the best. I told Paul that I was committed and would do whatever he said. Over the next few years he completely rebuilt my swing from the ground up. I think I spent most of my first year just working on my backswing. It was incredibly frustrating for me, but I stuck to it and you can see in the pictures how it has paid off. To avoid injuries, I probably swing about half as hard as I used to, but the ball still goes just as far, if not farther (plus straighter). GolfTec isn't cheap though, and I'll be the first to admit I would just keep taking lessons forever if I could afford it. This is definitely something I could not have afforded when I was much younger. But if this is something you can afford and nothing else has worked for you, I encourage you to try this. Another thing that has helped is I was able to pause my program once per package ("X number of lessons in Y weeks") whenever I was too injured to continue. As for any reports of rude instructors or poor customer service from coaches, I think I know who they were talking about. There was one coach there who wasn't very friendly whenever I interacted with him, and he seems more interested in practicing his own swing than helping customers. He's been gone for a few months though and was recently replaced by someone else. I've always found the other coaches to be super nice. Eddie's gone now. Ryan is the manager, I believe, and he's incredibly friendly and helpful. Just keep in mind that they can get really busy at times. If you walk in and need help and they're all busy teaching, just make sure they can see you standing there. They'll get to you before too long, but they're priority does need to be teaching a student that is paying for their time. Oh, and Paul has always been super responsive via email. If you have any questions about this place, feel free to message me. Good luck!

But, that isn't his most important attribute. He makes the game fun. He keeps it super simple, super rememberable and super efficient, so that you enjoy every fabulous moment out on the course! In short, Sam is the BEST GOLF PRO in the UNIVERSE! Kandra

However, my driver is an ongoing frustration. Even practicing, playing and trying You Tube videos nothing was fixing my push slice. I said WTH and decided to try Sam (local) for a lesson. Took my lesson with Sam on Tuesday and played round with friend on Thursday. Was nervous because I didn't have time to practice at range before and was going to try his advice on course....OMG, off first tee, hit solid contact straight on fairway. Not every shot and hole was perfect that day - bad habits are hard to change but I was making just better contact and had more confidence. Also gained extra club length from Sam showing me how to compress ball Looking forward to hitting the range and next round. Will be taking follow up lessons too

They have a "putting green" inside that is amazing! You are surrounded by (3) long displays of every type and brand that you can imagine. You can try them right there! They also have "pre-owned clubs as well for guys like me who used to play in eighth grade locally lol The staff was amazing! The first guy that talked to me was very cool, no pressure hype just said look around and if you need something I'm here, cool. Went back after work that same day and I picked up a great putter pre-owned for $179.00 it was like brand new I used it there for about 20 min. When I was looking for a sand wedge, I decided to ask for help. I stopped "Peter" he was great as I told him I wanted to start playing again after 50 years and he was so awesome because the clubs I was looking at were pre-owned, he showed me what I would for Sea Aire. He said this club here would be perfect for me and it is only $40.00! Now you can go and have a great time! I have mega respect for Peter for helping me get started back again a life time later. You can know for sure if a day comes and I want that $400.00 putter or that $700.00driver I will always go the the PGA superstore!!! At check out, Kathy was also very amazing, in total I only spent $275.00 and she treated me like royalty, so kind an d happy to see I am starting back. She said no with a big smile, I am going to clean it off for you now if you want to trade it in again, you are now in the system and you just need to give us your phone number.
