This is such a fun course tuck inside remotely in Torrance. Range is around 70-50 yards per Hole. Can finish in an hour. Perfect to work on your short game accuracy. Green is thick so need more power when putting. You'll only need a Sand wedge and putter at this course. $5 for 9 hole is very reasonable. Closed at 5pm and later as day light savings time gets longer. Definitely will be back. read more

Nice little pitch-n-putt located in south Torrance. The course is not in the best of conditions, but definitely not the worst of conditions. All homes are less than 100 yards. It will roughly take you about 45 minutes to finish depending on if it is backed up or not. The people who run the window are very helpful and polite. Just a heads up, this is a pitch-n-putt so just be patient with others as they are learning how to play. Try it out! Or take a baddie out here for a cute little date. read more

This was my first time visiting Sea-Aire Golf Course and I had such a great time! Great way to spend time outside and socially distant with your family. The putting green is closed due to Covid, trying to keep everyone at a distance, and we had to fill out a form for Covid, all signs they are trying to keep everyone as safe as possibly :) Each hole is about 45-60 yards and great for beginners. Only really needed a couple clubs, so no need to bring your entire golf bag. I have a small Sunday bag that I used which was perfect, but mostly everyone was just carrying around their clubs and ball by hand. Everyone helping us was extremely nice and welcoming! Highly recommend coming here for a short day of golf (took about an hour to finish all 9 holes)! read more

Came here for my first time ever and it's awesome for people who aren't good at regular golf. Each hole is 40-50 yards. It costs about $10 a person. You have to bring your own balls and clubs which is a downside. There is a putting green before the first hole. This is an 11 hole course i believe? The grass on each hole is terrible. There is so many dead patches of grass, especially on the green of the holes (which are called the green for a reason, not the brown). There are restrooms outside of the course and a free parking lot. The golf course has a park outside that kids can play at. Will be coming back here! read more

This is a pitch and putt golf course where you only need two clubs, a gap wedge and a putter. Longest hole I believe is 55 yards so a half swing at most. If you come here with that expectation and not a full 9 hole, you won't be disappointed. Greens aren't the best, some brown spots, and you hit off the mats but for $10, $5 kids, it's great. Very kid friendly, good practice for your short game. Easy check in, just walk right up, no drama. Cash only and don't bring big bills. It's a neighborhood course and a great way to zero in on your short game....which most of us need anyway. read more

3.5 stars. Fun little pitch-and-putt course in the middle of a Torrance residential neighborhood. Most of the nine holes are between 40 and 60 yards, with the longest at 86 yards uphill. I brought a sand wedge, lob wedge, and putter, and that was more than enough. The starter was a friendly guy and he gave me a few tips for the course; it's always great to get the local knowledge. The course is in decent shape and since it hosts so many rounds, don't expect pristine greens or immaculate fairways. However, it's a good place to work on your pitches/chips and if you're in a hurry, you can easily sneak in 9 holes here. I took my time and still finished my round in half an hour. I'd recommend Sea-Aire for anyone with children, due to the short length and easy walkability of the course. Green fees are $7 on the weekday and $8 on the weekends (add $1 for non-residents). Juniors (17 and under) fees are $4 weekday and $5 weekend. read more

This is a standard "pitch n putt" course. This is a completely different animal to a standard golf course or even the typical par 3 golf courses. Each hole is about 50 yards. These pitch n putt courses are great to get kids into the game. Or if you just want to practice your 50 yard chip shots. They are not however for the serious golfer. As pitch n putt's go this course is above average. Just watch for the opening hours - they are a little quirky. Some days they do not open until 11am. read more

It's been like 15 years since my last round here but sea air was still just like how I remembered from my high school days. 9 hole pitch and putt where most holes are 40-60 yards (longest is a 86 yard uphill) but it's surprisingly challenging and the greens are in decent shape. Showed up around 3:30 on Saturday and the place was pretty empty. My buddies and I played 9 holes in about 30 mins which isn't too bad considering we were hitting a couple of balls each. My husband and I came here to practice our short game. Although the course is extremely fun, it is ruined by the unfriendly vibes. First, the cashier wouldn't break a $50 bill for us to both play. He did not want to give us Torrance alumni $36 in change. After being refused to pay for our round and deciding to leave, he all of a sudden had change for us.... Next, in a rude manner had us go back to our car and put most of our gear away since it's not allowed. Throughout this process, we felt belittled and as if we were idiots for thinking to bring my entire golf bag with me. Now that we finally got to start on our first hole, we started to actually enjoy ourselves. The course is very fun and I was able to really practice my chipping and putting. This was then ruined by a groundskeeper. It is creepy enough once I noticed I had a "fan" since he stared at me golfing for a solid 15 minutes. Then, WHILE I'm in mid swing, he shouts to me complaining about me needing a tool to fix the divets? This is extremely rude and began to effect my game obviously mid swing..... I play golf because it is a great sport with respect and maturity. Why would I come back to a golf course where I am constantly judged, looked down on, and harrassed while playing. Fixing divits and maintaining the course is YOUR job there. Customer service is YOUR job there. I would love this course if their staff changed their attitude. The course is so fun and great to practice at. They just need a change of attitude. read more

Excellent short 9-hole par 3 course hidden in the neighborhood. When i say "short" I do mean it...this course is SHORT!!! The longest hole is a mere 84 yards. Operated by the City of Torrance, this is an excellent place to take a junior player, beginning player, or simply practice a bit of the short game (50+ yard pitches and short shots.) The greens are nothing to brag about, they are very slow, but this isnt really the place to be practicing your putting...just flag hunting. The grounds are very well kept considering, and it is nice for a quick outdoor stroll with golf involved. Green fees are very affordable ($7 adult residents, and $4 junior residents) read more

This is a great little par 3 pitch and putt course hidden within a south Torrance community. This is a 9 hole course that cost like 7 or 8 bucks if you are a Torrance resident ( it's a buck more for non Torrance residents). You only need 2 clubs. If you suck like me then you will need a pitching wedge and putter but if you are more experienced then a sand wedge and putter will do. This is a pretty fun little course to play with some friends or solo if you want to practice some pitch and putting and you can probably finish a round in 35-45 min or an hour if you suck. I definitely will be back to practice some of my short game because god knows I need to. read more

This place is strangely cool. I went there during lunch and our four-some played it in under 45 minutes. It's a short pitch-n-putt 9-hole hidden amidst a field of houses. My buddy paid for me, but I think it's like $10 or less. You hit off mats, and each hole is average 50 yards away. There's a long one, about 75 yards, and a few shorter ones - but the challenge is most of them are elevated. Not very well maintained, but what do you expect? It's like someone built a kindergarten and in the parking lot decided to build a mini-golf course. It's unique, to say the least. And to that end, it's got character. I played awful. Just awful. I'm not very good, sure, but I played embarrassingly (sp?) - and in front of my boss' boss, no less. Ugh. How damaging is that. But I learned its a great place to go to expose your weaknesses and work on your short game. So I've made it a plan to go back and play at least once a week 'til I shoot par. No problem. Come on by. Sea Aire is the perfect answer to any impulsive golf tendencies. It can get crowded during the summer, but mid-week or fall and winter weekends are empty. Generally rounds last 45 minutes or less. All you need is a wedge and a putter, anything else is overkill. The no-beer rule is now being enforced, so watch it with that. I think smoking is also banned. Unfortunately, they just bumped the price up from $7 to $10 for residents ($11 for non-residents). read more

I learned how to golf here many moons ago. I like it because it is cheap. I did a few other courses including Marriot in Manhattan Beach, Alondra, and Mammoth's Snowcreek Inn. I usually take a few clubs with me, a 7 iron, and either a 9 or a wedge and the "Charleen" (from the Simpsons) aka the putter. The 7 iron because of that one long hole which you have to hit up the hill. It is also pondless, even though I would like to see some water every now and then. They do not serve food here only a coke machine and a water fountain. read more

Sea Aire is pretty much a South Bay staple for teenagers and golfers who want to improve their short game. Comprised of 18 small luscious holes, one could play this course with a wedge and a putter. The greens are half-way decent and the fairways are worth the price. So grab a couple beers, stuff'm in your back pockets, call a couple buddies and hit this little neighborhood course. Sea Aire is a fun little pitch and putt in the seaside residential area of Torrance. The staff is primarily retired gentleman just working a part time gig. The course at one time was very well maintained. The green have become somewhat sandy with a lack of grass. The tee mats are weathered and the turf is not in its prime. This was a great place to go and play when I was a child. Hope they turn the course around. read more

Its a sad day when I have to give this place two stars. Went last weekend and it was great. The guy working there was so nice to us and my kids. But today the guy was a Nazi golf course employee that was yelling at our kids. Yelling at us not to run and on the putting green I can understand. We told our kids not to do this. He was spying on us when we were golfing. My kids were playing with worms by the putting green and he was yelling at them not to kill a worm. Wtf. The worm was already dead and are kids allowed to be kids? I feel sorry for this grumpy old man that had to ruin a nice experience for us. Its a shame this had to happen. No thank you when we left. Sea Aire is a Torrance landmark. Awesome little 9 hole pitch and putt with a couple holes having small elevated greens that will challenge the best short game. If you want to dial in your short game this is the place. The longest hole is 86 yds all uphill so all you need is a lob/sand wedge and a putter. Greens are surprisingly pretty dang nice! I took my 5 yr old son for the first time and he loved it. The course never gets overly crowded so you can play a couple balls on each hole. So as Alex R stated, grab a couple tall boys and enjoy! Why give this place a four because I got a hole in one here that's why. This is the smallest nine hole course I have ever played. I don't think anything is longer than 90 yards and I still lose balls. It's not the best kept place and sometimes the employees snap at you like a deranged hitchhiker but I like it. read more

As a golf course this place is way too short. All holes are sub-60 yards (or so I remember) so without a wait you can finish 9 holes in less than 45 minutes. Just hit, putt, and move on.
