I like that they also had a fly fan that they brought to the table once food came out to prevent fries from landing on our food/drinks. The cinnamon roll French toast was delicious and definitely a great shareable item. We had seven people, and it was enough to go around. I really enjoyed the tropical mimosa and would definitely get that again. At first I was hesitant hearing only 8 shrimp came with the fried shrimp which was eight, but since they were butterflied and a good size , it turned out to be very filling. The shrimp tasted fresh and had a great crunch to them. As you can see, I started eating before I even got my picture haha. I'll definitely be back again to try more items!

Our server, Cecilia, was pleasant but didn't ask any of the typical questions, like "Have you been here before?" or "How's your evening going?" We expected service to be a little slow given the occupancy, but we noticed bread was brought to a neighboring table that had arrived after us. After we asked for bread ourselves, it came out, but it was strange that we had to request it. We tried all three appetizers. The buffalo shrimp were just that -- nothing special. We didn't care for the bleu cheese chips; we're not fans of kettle chips or bleu cheese fondue. I was vegetarian for over 10 years, so I was disappointed by the texture of the cauliflower bites -- they were mushy. My partner wasn't a fan of the prime rib's lack of flavor, even with the au jus. The tequila citrus chicken was palatable but nothing we'd return for. We all noticed that every dish was only lukewarm. We tried this place because of Magical Dining, and we're glad we didn't pay full price. This was a rare occasion for us -- we didn't finish our food and didn't get doggy bags.

The new pavilion-style covered bays, enhanced lighting, and cozy lounge-style seating make practice so much more comfortable. I love the upgraded furniture, spacious layout, and overall high-tech feel. The monitor system and automatic ball dispenser are super easy to use--very sleek and efficient. Another huge plus: they now have a food court area that serves simple bites, snacks, and drinks. Super convenient when you're spending a couple of hours practicing. You can even order food and drinks straight from your bay, which makes the whole experience feel elevated and effortless. There's actually service now and staffs are great. Definitely nice service and worth the price. Plenty of open spots, great atmosphere, and a clean, well-designed space that shows they really invested in improving guest experience. Highly recommend checking out the new upgrades--Dubsdread absolutely nailed this renovation!

Have to admit, seeing a burger listed at $19 both lunch and dinner did make me pause in deciding to go, but seeing it was an award winning burger, I figured next time I am craving one I would consider it. Weeks later I was in the mood for an iron boost and decided to try it, price and all. I chose the Above Par and man was it ever. The bacon is thick and crispy, the goat cheese gushes open at your first bite and the mix of burger, fig jam, arugula, goat cheese and bacon is so flavorful I was so happy I came to visit. The restaurant overlooks the Golf course which seems really nice. The vibe reminded me of going to lunch with my Aunt at her country club in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. I sat outside and the ambiance, service and views were so relaxing, if I could have eaten more, I would have picked a dessert to extend my stay. Definitely going back.

The Rundown: You're paying for name, not necessarily a quality experience here…read more The Review: I'd never been here before, and it was rather hyped up before attending so I was looking forward to the experience. Initial impression from outside: Nice, I was surprised to find a golf course/(can you call it country?) club in the city! Once stepping inside however, it was very apparent that there was a general lack of attention to detail which I found odd. On the main screen the event going on is displayed and then you find yourself greeted by: a damaged sign advertising their Instagram. At a place that costs this much I'm really not sure how this is positive advertising? Took away from the initial experience. During the catering service the food was quite good, not anything that gave a memorable culinary experience and I'd say above average for catering but wasn't anything I would rave about. The odd part was the staff was almost TOO attentive. You'd turn around and anything at your spot belonging to the facility was removed. Did you go up to get more food? You'd return to find all the utensils gone. Eating and paused for a moment? If not, you'd likely turn and find an arm pop around you to remove your plate and any utensil around. It left a sense of feeling rushed and inconvenienced as there were no utensils clearly visible. You'd have to ask the staff who would direct you to utensils on a black tablecloth covered by a black napkin where there were a total of three sets. They were never refilled throughout the service so the running joke became asking your neighbor to guard your utensils and napkins if you'd step away otherwise risk eating with your hands. Also one of the staff you could always tell when she returned from a smoke break which was disappointing. But at least you knew a server was nearby when the odor of smoke came around and know your items might disappear if you weren't holding on to them? Overall, for the price you're paying keep in mind it's strictly for the name. The experience was subpar and I've been to better events where people spent less. This one felt very transactional - and not in a positive way.

The catering staff we spoke to were very kind and answered all of our questions. Beautiful location, easy parking and your permitted to set up a few hours before the event. The white linens and the tables were set up before we arrived. All tableware and cutlery were included - very clean and well kept. The catering for the brunch was top notch. Plating was beautiful. The mimosa bar was great. Food was attended to and tables were cleared continuously. The drink attendant was sweet and on point even when guests swarmed the station. We were permitted to blue tooth our own playlist and it made the event more personable. A podium and microphone were provided and set up upon arrival. Unfortunately, the person who handled the actual event planning via email/phone was not organized, attentive to our requests and somewhat rude. We had to go back and forth over and over to get everything straight. Things were added and taken away that were not requested. I understand maybe she was trying to upsell but it was an unexpected hassle. Without explanation, she advised she did not even look at our initial request form?? which laid everything out clearly. We only ordered 3 things. She informed us that she had multiple events over multiple locations - seemingly the reason ours was problematic. She repeatedly referred to our event as a bridal shower (which also ended up on our confirmation form that had to be fixed). Poor thing, it seemed like the job was too much for her to keep up with. Glad it was not a wedding I was planning. On the day of the event, during our scheduled time to decorate, an event person? (female) walked a group thru our room and was speaking VERY LOUD - LOUD - LOUD to talk over the music (Dubsdread was playing before we blue toothed our playlist) and to talk over everyone who was involved in the set up process. It was rude. Our event organizer was giving instructions and this person was talking over everyone in a stern voice without apology like our presence was annoying her? We had to schedule our initial walk thru, etc. so I don't understand why she would do that during our event OR schedule an overlap during that time. It was NOT professional NOR kind. Overall experience - great! loved it. The historical beauty of the place, the wonderful catering people and food made up for the (2) people so I would recommend this venue but use the info I provided to make your experience better than mine. :)

I was unable to make a reservation for this night, but walked in and was seated at the bar immediately. There are two hostess stands at this location. The first stand is at the door next to the Valet Parking stand and is for confirmed reservation seating. You are directed to walk further down the hallway towards the bar area for another separate hostess stand for walk-ins. We were seated at a nice two-top table close to the brewery room. (Note: we noticed a separate table inside the brewery which appeared to accommodate a small group and most likely requires a reservation to be seated there.) Kelly was our server and she was efficient, fun and very knowledgeable of the menu. She answered all of our questions, including explaining the ingredients of some of our selections. Our drink selections consisted of the frozen Getaway Car (vodka, sour cherry and maraschino liqueur) and the Woe Is Me martini (herb-infused Grey Goose with a pickled cherry tomato). The tomato made this martini stand out! The presentation of both drinks was memorable as was the taste of each. For our appetizers, we shared the Gatherer Salad (a zesty combination of baby greens, avocado, pickled beets, radish, goat, cheese and walnut granola with a herb vinaigrette dressing-outstanding!) and the Mushroom and Gruyère Beignets, set off by the pecorino cheese and the truffle aioli sauce. We easily could've had a second round of the beignets, but decided to go ahead and order our second course. For the second course, we shared the Pan Seared Redfish with summer vegetables, and the Steak Frites. The fish was delicate, light and the fennel broth made this dish a winner. The Steak Frites consisted of rubbed prime flat iron steak, garlic aïoli and bordelaise sauce-SO GOOD! The truffle fries were plentiful and, when combined with the sauce, resulted in a perfect accompaniment to this meal. For the final course, we shared the Black Forest Cake and the Peaches & Cream (caramelized puff pastry with peach jam, and mascarpone custard). Both desserts were the explanation points of the evening. At the end of the night, we told Kelly that we loved the combination of the "naughty and nice" pairings for this magical dining experience. (For example, the beignets and the salad, plus the redfish and the steak, allow you to both eat healthy and eat decadent.) A final shout out to the General Manager, Scott, who gave me an excellent tour of the outside beer garden (not occupied due to the rain that evening) and the major beer brewery facility next to it. TV screens are available in the garden, and would be an excellent party place for watching football this Fall. I think I have my next visit to The Ravenous Pig planned in the coming weeks. Great service and great food made this easily a 5-star evening.

They even have a brewery!! It's incredible and a testament to how good they are. I was re-reading my old review and was impressed with how they've kept up with obtaining and working with local growers and butchers. I'm sure that's been a big reason behind their continued success. Our waiter Billy was excellent. We were a group of 5 having a girl's dinner. He was great at answering all our questions and recommending certain items to us. We all chose from the magical dinning menu, what a deal! We all ordered different things and they were all excellent. The gatherer salad and the beignets were our favorites for the appetizers. For the entrees; The Red fish was so delicious, but I also tried a piece of the steak frites and that was fantastic as well. The Steak was super tender. That house made pasta linguine with shrimp was incredible as well. The black forest cake dessert was really good. I like that it wasn't too sweet. I love that they continuously update their menu in accordance to what is seasonal. The only critique I have is that when we first arrived, they had trouble finding our reservation. I had to pull up the email confirmation (Which I did confirm) A confirmation that they had actually sent me the previous day. The hostess lady seemed annoyed and asked us to sit and wait while they got a table ready. We waited around 15 minutes. No big deal, but a little nerve wracking when she said: "I don't see your name here." It's a good thing I kept that email confirmation. I'm actually really looking forward to coming back and trying other things from their menu, as well as their house-brewed beer.

It was a great size, has a hearty crust for good handling, and the toppings are just magnificent in quantity And quality. Just wow. Delicious. For my main, I had the Crab Cakes (citrus beurre blanc, tomato-smoked pepper jam, fries). Again, dynamite dish. Lots of crab in those cakes, a creamy, acidic sauce as a nice foil to the crab, and then a nice little pop of that smoked pepper jam to really make the dish interesting with every bite. So good. I also got to try a nightly special they had, a Lamb Tenderloin. Perfectly medium rare, a nice rice side, just done really well. We finished off with probably the best part of the night, the Skillet Brownie (salted caramel, vanilla soft serve). Insane. Ooey and gooey, warm and chocolatey, with a hint of salty caramel. With that dollop of vanilla ice cream just melting away on top, it was the perfect dessert. What really set back this visit was the service. Our server was just awful, I'm sorry.
