Nowndale is truly an amazing golf instructor. The first lesson alone helped me so much. He explains everything so clearly and is very patient. I love the fact that the lessons are indoor and has cameras so that he can show me and I can see what I need to change and work on. AND there's free parking !! Something I was worried about with getting lessons was not getting my money's worth. Sometimes instructors can be very chatty and I don't feel like I'm getting an actual full hour's worth of a lesson. If that is something you're concerned about, please consider Nowndale! Every time I come in for a lesson, it is jam packed with information and practice time. He really focuses on the lesson and your improvement. I feel very comfortable asking him questions (even if they feel silly) and he'll kindly answer and help me understand. I really have nothing negative to say. I have had 5 lessons and each one has been a very positive experience. I still have a lot to learn, but I can definitely say I have improved a lot since starting lessons. read more

I don't want to sound like I'm hyping Nowndale up.. even though that's quite literally what I'm doing.. but everything that I say here is my complete honest thoughts. I had a previous golf coach, but he wasn't great and I started plateauing and did really, really bad. I got frustrated with golf and I didn't know how to fix my mistakes.. and my ex-coach wasn't helping either so I paused lessons with him. Then my friend recommended me his previous coach, so I went to Nowndale and after just ONE lesson, my game started improving right away I was shook!!! After 2 lessons, my form looked so much better and I kept looking forward to seeing Nowndale the next week after. It was the only thing getting me thru the week, the lessons with him. He's so, so good at explaining the mechanics of the golf swing and how to get you to do exactly what you need to do for the perfect swing. I ask so many questions during my lessons and he's so patient with me and answers all of them, and encourages me to point out my own mistakes and explain to him how I could correct them myself. He genuinely wants to see me improve, and even during my practice sessions when I get frustrated and text him, he tells me to send videos of my swings to see what I'm doing wrong to help correct me. I have recommended him to my friends as well and I really really hope he can stays here for the long term because I am for sure not going anywhere and at this point I feel like I NEED his expertise and lessons to get to where I want to be in golf. He's truly a golf pro and everytime I see him swing I have no words read more

I came into golf as a complete beginner--I had never even swung a club before my first lesson. From the start, Nowndale was incredibly patient and supportive. He took the time to walk me through the fundamentals step by step, and what really stood out to me was how he explained not just the how, but the why behind each movement. His ability to break down the physics of the swing in a clear, easy-to-understand way made a huge difference in how quickly I was able to grasp the basics. Beyond that, he's consistently positive and encouraging--especially when I get frustrated. He's quick to remind me to have fun and enjoy the process, which has helped me stay motivated. Every session is well-structured, and he always follows up with drills and a practice plan so I know exactly what to work on between lessons. Even outside of our sessions, he's responsive and generous with his time. I've texted him questions I forgot to ask during our lessons, and he always replies with helpful advice. If you're looking for an instructor who's not only knowledgeable but also genuinely invested in your progress, I can't recommend Nowndale enough. read more

Bryce is a golf swing magician. I finally broke 100 under his tutelage after suffering for far too long. AND I now drive the ball consistently over 200 yards, plus it's usually straight. read more

I've been playing golf on and off (mostly off) for over 20 years. I decided that my game needed a reset in order to improve and get motivated to play more. Nowndale (Dale) was exactly what I needed. His teaching approach was basic and sophisticated at the same time, and he had a great way of communicating his observations in a way that made it easy to implement. My game is on the right trajectory now, and I've cut 10 strokes off my game. Would definitely recommend courses with Golf Code 360. read more

As a fairly new golfer (1.5 years), I signed up for a 5-pack with Nowndale after initially going through the swing assessment. I've really enjoyed the process of developing the appropriate mechanics for a golf swing from grip to posture to contact to backswing to weight shift. I love the technology and statistics provided there and Nowndale does a great job of being honest, encouraging, and efficient in his teachings. You literally can really see the side-by-side comparisons of where you started at the beginning of the lesson and where you are at the end of the lesson. Nowndale has also provided great drills for me to improve my contact, weight shift, and way to self-diagnosis what changes to be made to hit the ball more consistently and straight. After my initial lessons, I recently signed up for another 5-sessions with Nowndale to continue my golf training and further improve my wedge play and driver use. read more

I've been playing bad golf for over ten years. Mainly through YouTube videos and recommendations from friends. In the matter of five lessons, all my fundamentals were improved with Nowndale. Everything from grip, to set-up, to stance, and of course.. the swing. While I have a lot of work ahead, I've had better range and course sessions than I've ever had. While I don't have anything to compare it to, I can't imagine taking golf lessons without video monitors. I'm a very visual person, and to see video of what I thought were half swings, actually being full swings... or seeing that my left arm was breaking way too much was pretty wild to see. I was able to take video and pictures of my swing and replicate and practice that during my own practice sessions at the range. This was crucial in reforming my swing and making sure that I was staying on track. read more

Recently decided to get into golfing and was referred to golf code 360 from a friend. Went in for a swing assessment and free 30 minute lesson and felt that I had already gotten so much out of that short time. Immediately afterwards I opted for their 5 lesson package. Nowndale has been great, and his approach to the coaching by breaking down the swing into components that I can work on each week was super helpful. They have two bays set up with two camera angles each which allows them to review your swing immediately so you can see what you're doing well and what you need to work on. I'm making much better contact with the ball now and my consistency has gone up since starting. Definitely still have a lot to work on, but the basics are definitely there. I'll definitely be returning as I continue the sport :) read more

When I first started playing golf, I would watch countless videos and spend hours on YouTube. Trying one method after the next. Then I would take it to the practice range, still struggling. When I would play on the course, my scores were high (not a good thing). I then decided to take this game of golf more seriously and take lessons. Which led me to Golf Code 360. The reason being the one-on-one private lesson in a studio (to save myself from embarrassment) and the willingness to work my busy work schedule. Luckily, I was paired up with Nowndale. Nowndale was able to breakdown the basics and fundamentals of golf. He was able to correct all my bad habits and explain why my balls would go wayyy right or left. He also taught me the importance of hitting down on the ball rather than scooping it and making good contact. I definitely added more yardage to my swing. Overall, my ball striking and ball flight have been more consistent. Nowndale is hands-down a top notch instructor. Very easy-going and approachable. Thank you, Nowndale, for the confidence I now have on the course. read more

Our golf instructor, Nowndale, was really helpful! He helped us get down the basics of golfing in 2 sessions. We have no experience golfing whatsoever, but was able to learn quickly. From how to swing, to the standing positions, he did an amazing job giving us step by step details. He made it very easy to understand and gave us very insightful feedback, all the while being encouraging. I would definitely recommend Nowndale, he is very patient and understanding! read more

Everyone always says lessons are a great investment if you want to enjoy the golf, and after a 5 pack group lesson with Kevin I couldn't agree more. My partner and I were looking to learn some more solid fundamentals of the golf swing after a year of going out to the course and hitting all kinds of terrible shots and after a couple lessons I can confidently say the swing feels better for both of us and it's making golf so much more fun and less frustrating. One lesson in it already made a difference in realizing that my setup and grip were not great to start with. Kevin had some pretty easy to remember systems for both of these where its almost hard to get it wrong now. I have done a on the range lesson with some tech (ipad with some app) before, but the studio golf code has set up with the cameras is pretty great; you can see your swing from face on and down the line and the instant feedback is so worth it. Coolest take away is its increased my golf IQ to actually better diagnose *my* swing. no more confusing youtube videos with conflicting info, you leave the lessons with a much better understanding of why something happens and how to fix it. read more

I have played golf a long time, but never improved much over the years. I finally signed up for a 6 lesson package with Nowndale, and am finally getting better at the game. I wanted to start with the basics - grip, set, tempo, etc - to make sure I had proper fundamentals. He made is clear and easy and just these steps improved my swing and contact. After the 6 lessons I am playing noticeably better. I should have done this years ago. I appreciate Nowndale's manner and style. He is clear and concise and you can tell he loves the game. I'm going back to him for more... read more

If you are interested in getting golf lessons, this is the place to go. My partner and I started doing lessons with Kevin since January 2024. Kevin has been a supportive, helpful and kind instructor. Kevin is an incredible instructor! My husband and I decided to start golfing this year and Kevin has been able to demystify a very complicated and nuanced game for us as beginners. I thought golf would be a really intimidating sport to pick up, but Kevin has been SO good at breaking down all the individual components of the golf swing into easy to understand pieces. We love the step-by-step approach he takes, giving insightful feedback and tips along the way. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and makes golf approachable and fun! The technology at the studio is also great, we are able to learn so much faster by watching instant playback of our form as we swing. Kevin is able to pause the video and explain exactly how we can improve by drawing directly on the footage and doing side-by-side comparisons with old footage (so we can also see how much we've improved!) We can't imagine how much more difficult it would be taking lessons in a traditional format without the help of this tech! If you're looking for an excellent, informative experience at any level, I highly recommend Kevin at Golf Code 360. We look forward to our lessons with him every week! read more

I had actually taken lessons a long time ago at GolfTec, which wasn't really my jam because there wasn't a lot of explanation, just a guy strapping a harness on me and moving my body around while telling me how many degrees off I was from an ideal swing. I was so turned off on lessons I decided to just use tips I found on TikTok and YouTube to try and improve, but my swing inconsistencies were sucking all of the fun out of my game. I decided I needed to start taking some real lessons again, and luckily GolfCode 360 was nearby. I got paired up with Nowndale and my swing has gotten so much more consistent and repeatable. I've added about 20 yards of distance to each club, but more importantly I have confidence over that ball that I'm not going to shank it straight into the woods. Nowndale was awesome in explaining how and why I needed to be in specific positions and where I needed to place the club vs. just moving me around the ball, and answered all of my questions about feel and contact. If you're looking to improve and really understand your swing, I highly recommend booking lessons here. read more

Just came back from round of golf and had notice huge improvement in my game and confidence. Thanks to my instructor Kevin! This guy knows his stuff. He seems very passionate about teaching his students how golf should be learned and uses his professional experience to make it simple as possible in learning. Im a low bogey player btw. The studio in Pasadena is very clean and the moment i walked in , i felt welcomed and comfortable. This studio has top notch instruments that captures every movement in your body. Kevin plays the video back and forth to determine and analyze where it needs to be fixed. i am so glad that i contacted Kevin and now i can enjoy golf even more! Stop wasting money on practice range and call this guy. You wont regret it and walk out with a big smile. read more

Nowndale is an amazing coach who will help you reach your golf goals. From the very first lesson, he was able to see what was wrong with my swing and put together a plan to fix it. He will teach you everything from the grip, posture, set-up, and swing. He was great at teaching me why errant shots were occurring and made sure I understood how to fix it so when I was practicing at the range on my own, I would be able to make adjustments. He is also an amazing golfer and can demonstrate every shot. Nowndale is easygoing, patient, and knowledgeable. He is genuinely interested in your progress on the golf course and celebrates your success. Overall, I enjoyed my lessons here at Golf Code and would recommend it to golfers of any skill level. read more

After picking up golf again after years away from the sport, I decided to take lessons to get better. Nowndale at Golf Code 360 Studio has helped me improve my swing dramatically. No more "over the top" swings that fling the ball all over the course for me. Over many lessons, I rebuilt my swing to be a more consistent ball striker. I am able to hit straight and far with way more consistency than I ever have. He even identified I needed new clubs as my set (bought for cheap during Black Friday) had the wrong shafts and grips for my swing speed and hands. There was no better proof to me than standing on the first tee at my first full-length course in over 8 years and piping a drive down the middle of the fairway while all my partners sliced, hooked, or topped their balls. It's great having the knowledge to know what to do and the confidence to do it. I know I still have more work to do, but I'm looking forward to what Nowndale can show me. read more

I've been with Golf360 for the past few months, buying their largest package. For background, I was introduced to golf at a young age, but I never took it seriously. Decades later, I found myself at a golf course and became instantly hooked. For someone with little to no instruction, I was scoring decently and hitting the ball okay, but it was extremely inconsistent. Nowndale at Golf360 helped me not only find consistency, but the ability to diagnose an issue when it start occurring. For awhile, I had no idea why my ball would go any direction. Nowndale started from the very basics of grip, posture, and form to build the foundations up to a full swing. The facility offers video recording to show that how you look is very different from how you might feel in a golf swing. Now, I know what my setup should feel like, what drills and exercises to fix problems, and things to work on when going to the golf range for practice. I highly recommend anyone new to golf to check out Golf360. read more

Background: Played a little bit during my college years for fun and not serious. I started playing more regularly and getting serious about golf during COVID-19. Handicap was +25 before taking lessons, so I was shooting about 95-100 on the average. Decided to take golf lessons from Golf Code 360 because it is close to my apartment. I liked the privacy of an indoor facility, as opposed to taking lessons from an instructor on a golf course range, where everyone and their mother can watch/listen to your lesson. Don't get me wrong, when I'm on the range, I'm that guy trying to gather pieces of information to help my swing. Clearly that method did not work and I'm glad I chose Golf Code 360. Logan was my instructor and from the swing evaluation, I knew I could trust him. He was confident in what he knew and I could tell he knows what a golf swing needs to look like within your own body. Every person swings a golf club differently, and I liked how he didn't push you for your swing to look like the "perfect" or "tour player" swing. He told me after I signed up for the five 60-minute lessons that five lessons would be adequate to help my swing because my swing was pretty good already. He did not try to over sell, even after I finished my five lessons with him. He did help me with some equipment changes that would help my game and lead me in the right direction with those decisions. After my lessons with Logan, I have lowered my scores and have broken 90 multiple times. I'm happy where my swing is at and thankful for my time there. I will have Logan on speed dial in the future when my game evolves, or I see fit. If you're looking to get over that "hump" in your golf game, or just interested in learning how to play, without question head to Golf Code 360 with Logan. read more

Nowndale is an exceptional golf instructor who helped me reduce my handicap from 24 to 14 within four months and 15 lessons. Likely more if I worked on putting more :p His training prepared me superbly for a golf trip to Bandon Dunes, where I won the buddies tournament. Thank you Nowndale! Having experienced various local instructors and Golftec, I strongly prefer Golf Code 360. It employs cameras and shot tracking for immediate feedback, providing an edge over traditional driving range lessons. The Golf Code 360 system offers a structured approach for enhancing the skills of golfers at almost all levels - novice to above average players. This is quite different than Golftec which hyper focuses on one part of the swing you want to work on that day, with no clear overall goal. Nowndale's patient, knowledgeable demeanor greatly adds to the experience. Remember, the outcome of any golf instruction reflects your input. To optimize learning, take notes at the end of each lesson and practice. If you forget, Nowndale's excellent customer service can provide a summary via a quick text. If I had to make a suggestion, I'd recommend that Golf Code 360 standardize this helpful process. read more

Decided to take the game seriously and purchased a 10 lesson package with Nowndale. Not only did he help me dial in my swing mechanics with the use of multiple cameras and correct my setup but he was also a great help with getting my mind right on the course. I was finally able to break 90 with his valuable advice on how to approach a game stress free and maintain mental composure. I will forever hear his voice "hit down" and "just make good contact" in my head. Overall Nowndale broke down the swing and game into a few core fundamental checkpoints giving me the tools I need to help diagnose my misses and continue my journey as my own teacher. read more

I've had a great experience working on my golf swing with Nowndale. I think I learned more about my swing in my first 90 minutes at Golf Code than I did in 2 semesters of college golf class and a dozen other private lessons. If you're looking to step up your golf game, I can't recommend Nowndale and Golf Code 360 highly enough. read more

I came to Golf Code 360 when I first started and had 4 lessons and recently went back to redeem my last lesson with a new instructor just to see what was going on these days. Golf Code 360 is a very opinionated in their curriculum. They have always seemed very trained to go through their set structure. When I first started, this was very helpful but nowadays it feels restrictive. During a lot of the lesson they try to build a mutual trust in the method by illustrating some concepts and then asking if you agree. Unfortunately when I disagreed, I felt the communication really broke down and turned into some bickering. This honestly is the case for a lot of golf instruction, but with great teachers, they are able to smooth this over with either humor, more data to back their claims, or just admitting that they have a set structure they tend to teach within. I was frustrated when the reaction was more of I am right, you are wrong, and even "I'm good at golf" with the obvious implication that he was better than me as though that mattered in the moment. I ended up apologizing for questioning all the stuff, because I felt bad for putting the instructor on edge. Honestly I would rate it lower but I felt given the situation, the instructor did recover his calm. Overall this shop is very opinionated and said somethings I didn't like, but are very structured. I'm sure if you commit to their process, you'll get decent results if your golf is just to play some decent golf. That being said, it was not for me. read more

Been working with Kevin since end of last year. Started as a swing eval and his constructive feedback from that first session reinforced the fact I wanted to work with him long term. I knew immediately he'd help me improve my golf skills and signed up for a multi lesson package. Since then he's helped me with getting a solid foundation while implementing small tweaks specific to me to develop my swing. I'm now hitting the ball further and more straight with less effort . We also worked on putting and chipping to further improve my handicap. Looking forward to the continued instruction with Kevin on my quest to be a scratch golfer. read more

I started playing golf maybe 3-4 months ago and I can honestly say golf was becoming more frustrating than fun. I got a few coaches but I felt the improvement with them was marginal at best if any. When I met saw an golf code 360 with only 1 review I was hesitant, but from the moment Brooks called me to set up my appointment to now, I can honestly say he's the best instructor I've had thus far. My other coaches gave me the information but never in a way I could understand why we did things rather we just do them. Brooks not only explains why we do it, he explains how, as well as I stand feedback. Brooks has a a way of breaking down the god forsaken golf swing to anyone. He can get it super basic or super technical depending on that you want to know. He's a super cool guy and easy to talk to, never felt he was uninterested or holding back when trying to help me. I paid for the 10 lessons in advance, and in 4 lessons in. I feel like I am able to understand my misses and correct them on my own. I'm inclined to get more as the improve is SUBSTANTIAL. Although I know it's not perfect just yet, I think I'm heading in the right direction and can feel my swing changing from an armsy swing if you will, to a more efficient and effortless swing. I recommend if you're new to golf, come see Brooks and he can make sure you don't form any bad habits, and if your an avid player who needs some tips on cutting some strokes, Brooks is your guy. I would recommend Brooks to anyone and I truly believe without a doubt he is one of the best coaches out there. read more

I went from never swinging a golf club, to being able to play a full round of golf and really enjoy doing it. I am new to golf as of this year and started playing with my boyfriend who is an avid golfer. I wanted to be able to play a game with him every once and a while to spend time together. My swing was unpredictable and being so new at the game it made it difficult to get through a full 18holes without feeling defeated. I started getting lessons from Brooks McCarty at Golf Code 360 and noticed a difference right away (in the very first lesson). The program is really different than regular golf lessons you think of, and breaks down the swing with a lot of detail. I feel much more confident now with all of my clubs and not just my driver. Because they use cameras and a launch monitor I am able to see and track my progress, which for my personality makes all the difference. I really like how I can take a lot from the lessons and bring it with me to the course. Brooks is super patient and has always been able to find ways to coach me in a way that I understand. I always leave my lessons feeling good about my game. I highly recommend you check this place out regardless of your skill level. But if you're anything like me, it's a must! read more
