We have been wanting to come here for a long time and finally had the chance!…read moreFirst I would like to say that every single human that we came across, whether on the phone or in person, was extremely kind and had great customer service etiquette. I am a firm believer that this is just as important, if not more, than the food! First notable was Sydney, over the phone. We thought we were going to be late for our reservation and she assured me not to worry. They normally give a 15 minute grace period, but she knew we were celebrating a 50th birthday, an 85th birthday and Mother's Day (the week after). It was only four people but a big deal to us. Thankfully, we weren't late, traffic cleared up and we walked in exactly at our reservation time. It was a beautiful afternoon. 3pm on a Saturday and the small wrap around lot was packed. We got lucky as someone was pulling out, but people were parking in other surrounding lots and walking over. When we left, we also saw people parked on the street and in the huge shopping center across the street. Outdoor seating in front of the restaurant was full. There were palm trees and umbrellas. The numerous front doors to the restaurant were closed and it was frustrating because there were runners, wait staff and people trying to get to the hostess station and to the bar. Having my 85 year old mom navigate all this was tough. But once inside, our table was ready and waiting for us. The hostesses were handling the chaos of the people and the phone with a smile! We were given regular menus and a lobster roll and drink menu upon sitting down. Also, bread/dinner rolls. They were ok. There were 10 different kinds of hot and cold lobster rolls to choose from. It seemed that every table around us had at least one served to them. While we were looking and trying to decide what to order, Aurora came over to introduce herself and take drink orders. She was also super kind, accommodating and knowledgeable. She explained that she could adjust certain things, take things off the lobster rolls because they are made fresh and tended to the picky eater at the table. I live having a waitress that is patient and knows what she's doing! Two lemonades, one soda and a mocktail called Momma Said Mock You Out, came to the table. All good. Also ordered was a fried calamari appetizer. It was plentiful for the three of us that tried it. The marinara sauce was yummy. The calamari was fresh and had legs (my fave). But the overwhelming flavor of "fried" took away from the flavor of the calamari. It was crispy but it tasted like reused oil in the fryer maybe? Other than that, it would have been excellent. Not one piece remained. For our entrees, one chicken franchese over linguine, one order of seafood Spanish paella, one order of sliders with cheese (onion rings changed to fries) and one Connecticut lobster roll poached in light butter, no chives. The chicken franchise was not like you get in an Italian restaurant. It comes with cherry peppers and topped with mozzarella cheese. We held the peppers. The sauce was thick and rich, not light like we're used to. There was a lot of mozzarella cheese melted on top as well. Both of these things overwhelmed the dish. But not in a bad way. Just...different. the chicken was fresh and plentiful. The Paella. It came in a huge pot with a cover on it. It was HOT and HUGE. Lots of rice. Lots of flavor and it was eaten at home for 2 more days. The person who had it says it was good. Three sliders. Not good. They were overcooked. Buns bland. Burnt meat around the edges and had no flavor. Just covered up with American cheese. Ketchup saved what it could and two got eaten. The fries that came with them were "really, really good!" The Connecticut hot lobster roll. The star of the show. We got the one where we could taste the lobster. It came just as ordered, poached in just a little bit of butter with no chives. The bun was toasted and fresh. The lobster was a little chewy but plentiful. There were big chunks and lots of claw meat. No shredded pieces to cut corners. It came on a metal tray with a taco stand to keep the bread from getting wet. It also came with fries, coleslaw and a small pickle slice. It was fresh lobster and it was delicious. I'd definitely go here just for this. We were checked on often. Free drink refills. Extra napkins. No paper straws. We were going to do birthday celebrations but everyone was in a food coma. Side note- Ladies room was half inoperable and disgusting. Garbage on the floor. One of two stalls broken. Smelled of urine. Sink and floor wet (dangerous) and a line due to one operating stall. Please address this as it was not safe, can ruin an appetite and hold up the timing of everything else in the restaurant. All in all, I would like to go back and try more food. I only took off one star because the good outweighed the bad. My suggestion-open another location! Thanks for a memorable dinner with my special people!

Tried the Maryland one with lump crabmeat- next time i will just get the original New England or Connecticut- Calamari was nice and plump, my friend said bit plain, but i love it with marinara sauce. The waiter was nice but not accomodating. We asked to get alittle shade at our table and he said there's nothing they can do about it. My friend and I together moved the picnic table alittle closer to the umbrella. Asked him to give us separate checks- only two checks- he denied it saying he can't do anything about it because of the boss. Never had this happen to us at a restaurant esp a pricey one. Did not ask for 8 separate checks. Hopefully if we do decide to go back, we will get a more accomodating waiter. Otherwise, we liked our first time food experience there.

The place was buzzing (always…read morea good sign), we were seated without too much of a wait and immediately got into the good stuff. Let's talk about that $25 Thursday girls' night deal a martini, fries, and a Caesar salad? Yes, please. I upgraded to the parmesan fries for an extra $3 and have zero regrets, they were crispy, cheesy. and salty perfection. Of course, I couldn't ignore the oyster specials. $1 oysters + discounted varieties ($1 discount on every type of oyster) Dangerous. I ordered a dozen and shamelessly took them all down myself Fresh, briny, and absolutely worth it. My friend went the "balance" route with the grain bowl and added shrimp, which looked just as good as it tasted. Everything we had was on point. Service deserves a shoutout. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and kept everything flowing smoothly without hovering. My martini was perfectly made (strong but smooth), and the overall vibe was lively, energetic, but still perfect for catching up. The vibe really made the night. Great food, great deal, great company. Honestly, it's the kind of spot that turns a casual night into a whole experience. I'll definitely be back.

We live on an island , but for some reason it's hard to find good oysters here. They always deliver and from a variety of regions. However the lobster roll is pretty bad. It was a bit undercooked and tasteless. Everything else was good , beet salad, truffle fries, and service all very good. Will be back not ordering lobster roll

To top it off, there was a young guy singing Frank Sinatra classics in the middle of the week, which gave the place such a fun and classy vibe. For appetizers, we tried the wonton nachos, which were absolutely delicious. The meatballs and mozzarella were good, though a bit heavier on the bread than I prefer. Dinner was outstanding across the board. We ordered the Chicken Caesar salad, hamburger, crab cakes, and the Rockefeller French dip, and every single dish was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The restaurant itself is trendy, with an amazing bar and great atmosphere. I highly recommend checking this place out -- we'll definitely be back!

The old back room had been transformed into an official party room with a separate bar and restroom and closed off with decorative barn doors. The bar area offers ample seating, with the dining area ( offering table service) behind the bar wall overlooking the main stage. Greeted warmly greeted when we first entered with only a five minute wait ( we had a reservation and I highly recommend making one). Again warmly welcomed by our server Nicole who provided an outstanding service throughout the evening. Nicole was friendly, engaging and offered excellent dinner and drink suggestions. Live music was on tap on this Friday evening which did make the dining room rather loud for holding table conversations but worth the live music being played that evening. The cocktail menu offers a good and varied selection of mixed drinks and wine and the mixed drinks are both flavorful and expertly presented. I would highly recommend both the Flappers Folly ( a refreshing floral mix) and the Espresso Martini drinks. Started off with the hot honey & bacon brussel sprout appetizers which were perfectly flavored with the honey and bacon bits over crispy brussel sprouts. All main dish items were very good. The Old Sport Burgers were juicy, flavorful and all cooked to perfection served with crispy string French fries. The French Dip Au Jus was well seasoned and not to dry with a flavorful au jus. I would highly recommend the Gatsby Grain dish bowel. Shredded chicken served over jasmine rice and vegetables was outstanding and served with a side salad. Restaurant manager Cathy was very visible in the dining room checking in with every table and asking for feedback which you don't see very often nowadays. Even got a personal tour of the new party room ( looking for a location for a future event). Overall good food reasonably priced , excellent service and nice decorum with live music offered on the weekends. A great place to grab a drink and listen to music while catching a great burger or the Gatsby Grain dish bowel . You won't be disappointed.
