I attended a bridal shower here in June and it was one of the best if not the best bridal shower I have ever been to, and I have been to many. Everything about this venue was perfect. The parking lot is a bit of a walk to the building, that's the only negative thing I have to say. The place is absolutely beautiful. Wooden structures inside overlooking the boardwalk with large windows, I mean I can't say enough about how beautiful a setting it was. The food for the shower was fantastic. Omelette station, standard brunch fare, all delicious. Tomato, mozzarella and basil, cheese and meat boards, delicious vegetables and fruit, I was wow-ed. The staff was phenomenal, coffee was literally insane. I couldn't believe how good the coffee was so I went up to a worker and asked what they use. He came back and said, "Folgers." I kid you not. I was so embarrassed but also went to Stop and Shop after I left the shower and bought a big thing of Folgers coffee because it's SO DARN GOOD. It was somewhat of a windy day so we stayed inside most of the time except for photos where we went outside onto the boardwalk and had a beautiful view of the beach. I attribute so much of this fantastic shower to the people who put it together as they brought a donut wall and had a make your own flower bouquet station and so on and so forth but the venue itself and the staff and the clean huge bathrooms were a 10/10. The only bad thing I can think of is... because of the natural lighting coming through the windows, photos can turn out a little dark. So you have to take photos with the subject facing the front instead of the rest of the room for good lighting. Just a small heads up! I need to talk about how great the bathrooms are here. They have little baskets with like towelettes to remove makeup, hair tie things (people like me lose these ALL the time), breathe fresheners, like I'm pretty sure an emergency sewing kit, tampons, pads, cologne, the whole nine yards was stowed away in the ladies bathroom. Get on it. The wedding couple decided on doing this with a full buffet spread before the actual ceremony and a cocktail hour. Interesting. I've never been to a wedding before where they feed you twice. Maybe an appetizer cocktail hour but this was a full huge spread. There were plenty of options for everyone. I was drawn to the sushi and cheese tables as more than others because I didn't want to kill myself with stuffing my face beforehand. Fresh salmon, different kinds of lasagnas, beef goulash, etc. The actual meals they prepare here - eh. I went with the beef and wasn't impressed but there were little additions like 'make your own blinis with fresh caviar, sour cream & lox'. Pinch me now. Every table had their own red wine and vodka bottle chilled on ice. Yes, this was a half Russian wedding. The alcohol choices were fantastic up at the bar and the bartenders were great with also making up drinks when we were indecisive but I mostly stuck to gin/vodka for the night. Really nice addition that the venue provides are desert cordial shots. Little cups of chocolate filled with a liquor of your choice. I think I was the first person to discover the table being set up and stood there for the remainder of the night. I don't go to too many weddings but I was impressed by the venue. Anything by water you really can't go wrong with just don't ask me how much any of this cost.

It is intimate and perfect for any special event. Tonight we came for a elite event, invite only from one of my favorite radio stations ( @WALK975 ) to see American Idol winner Phil Phillips. A great big THANK YOU to Patrick Shea, Mike, Christina and all the rest of the team that made this epic night possible. The Beach Club at Lake Ronkonkoma is set up perfectly for live entertainment outside. Beautifully adorned with tropical palms, colorful flowers and spacious dance area. It feel Luxurious. Ava Della Pietra, a local senior here on the Island opened for Phil with her hit "Happy for You". Ava has a beautiful voice and I'm sure we will be seeing her name up in lights soon. To follow her on Instagram @avadellapietra Phil came out next, he was spectacular. He did not disappoint. He was very interactive with the attendees answering questions between songs and giving us stories of his life as a new Dad. He is charming and charismatic, as well as a talented artist. Check out his new music, Dancing With Your Shadows @phillphill Ending the night dancing to the music from Vinyl Revival Band was so much fun. Life is good when you get these moments of ultimate bliss. I was in the zone watching the first summer sunset , enjoying the beautiful weather and listening to the night's music. Now as far as the food it was just ok. I had the coconut shrimp that was a little to greasy for me & tomato and mozzarella that had absolutely no salt and a very little drizzle of balsamic. It definitely needed something. It might just have just been a bad night for the chef. Even though the food did not match the decor the place is still truly a Long Island Gem.

I am giving this venue 4 stars only because of the challenges that we experienced with the management of the venue while planning the wedding. Our original wedding plans were impacted by the pandemic and there were small things that could have been handled better including us having to increase the number of guests in order to reschedule the wedding to 2021. While planning for the event, I would look up reviews intermittently and the negative reviews about the venue did cause me to worry about how things would turnout, but I tried to remain positive. I had also been in touch with Uncle Frank who was the first person we met when we booked, was the person who married us, and was always warm and sweet, so that did help me feel more at ease. From the minute we arrived up until we closed down the venue at the end of the night, everything was beyond my expectations. We had an incredible time, and the staff was great. Food: the appetizers and the cocktail hour station got great reviews from my guests. The bridal attendant and Vickie made sure that there were plenty of appetizers in the bridal suite and were great about making sure that I too, got to enjoy this part of the event. We selected a buffet style dinner. My guests loved the food, even the critical foodie friends and family said the food was excellent. I have to thank Vickie for making sure that I sat and ate, which is why I can also attest to how great the food was. The sausage and peppers were on point, the filet mignon wasn't over cooked, and the chicken francese was one of the best I ever had. Staff: Vickie, the bridal attendant (I forget how to spell her name), Jay, the servers, and Bill the Bartender were all awesome. The staff was helpful to my guests and made sure that everyone was comfortable. Vickie made sure that everything ran smoothly and that I was happy. The bridal attendant (I forget how to spell her name) and Vickie checked on me throughout the night and made sure that I had everything I needed. If I got up and looked like I needed something, either Vickie or the bridal attendant were at my side asking if I needed anything. The actual venue is beautiful and speaks for itself. Our DJ (Events Unlimited) used the playlist I provided and built an awesome music set that kept me and my guests dancing the entire evening. I am grateful that my experience with the staff on the day of went beyond my expectations.
