The staff were very nice. I got a strawberry-peach refresher. It started good, but the more I drank it, something tasted really off. It was very empty on a weekday compared to weekends, when they are full of customers who are also grocery shopping.

I'm not kidding when I say this was the best decision for a post work meal ever. I ordered the Sweet Potato cheddar cheese hotdog with Mayochup as dip- it was genuinely incredible. I also had the banana fudge mochi donut, which was a little chewier than expected, but tasted great. New favorite spot in the Fairfax HMart! Wait time was similarly long to the other restaurants in the food court, but completely worth it for my meal. I will be coming back!

    Mochinuts go crazy

Upon arriving at this esteemed establishment humbly sat in the Fairfax HMart, I was greeted by the kindest soul at the front desk. She was extremely helpful and gave both helpful recommendations and descriptions of the menu items. Even though this place is bustling, service is always friendly and I received my corndog within minutes. The initial bite was simply extravagant. Hot and fresh, my mouth was engulfed in the light, crunchy batter, leaving a satisfying bite. The hotdog and mozzarella complimented the potato batter well, begging me to keep going. Don't get me started on the mochinut, airy and sweet, nothing can be beat. The banana was surprisingly my favorite flavor. Additionally, I bought the lychee yogurt slush, which was refreshing and delicious. Before I knew it, it was already gone. Overall 10/10 I had a great time, scrumdiddlyumptious.

This was my first time trying this trendy corn dog and it was alright. Compared to a regular corn dog, this one was fresh and on the sweeter side. The hotdog quality was okay. The cheese was decent. I think this is a one and done deal, unless you are crazy about hotdogs.

GoldMiss offers a variety of Korean Corndogs, mochi donuts and bubble tea. I tried a half sausage/half mozzarella corn dog with potato on the outside. It was super yummy and I got a few good cheese pulls! They also offer a few different types of sauces for the corn dogs. The cashier who helped me was super nice helping me decide what to get. I also really enjoyed eating in the food court at H Mart where I could see what others were eating from other restaurants. And the storefront here is super cute. Perfect spot to grab a snack before grocery shopping.

MOCHI DONUT REVIEW TL;DR: Better than the other mochi donuts I have had in the area. Variety of flavors. Nestled inside the food court inside of H-mart grocery store, this place originally started with Korean Hotdogs/Corndogs, but added the mochi donuts to their menu. Lots of options in flavors! I'm a big-bite type of person, so when I have had mochi donuts at other places, the donuts were so small, that I was always left disappointed. But I can confidently say, these did not disappoint. The donuts are larger, but soft and has the perfect amount of chew that you want from anything mochi related. The flavor of the donut itself is also so good! Flavors: ~ Mango (3/5): Topped with fruity pebbles. It was tasty, but a little too sweet for me ~Dark Chocolate (5/5): My favorite one that I tried. Chocolately, with a nice crunch from the cocoa rice krispies on top. ~ Cookies and Cream (4/5): Very tasty, but wish it had a liiiittle more cookies and cream flavor (maybe if it had a few pieces of cookies from Oreos on it).

We were looking for a late lunch on a Saturday in Fairfax so we decided to head to the food hall in H-Mart. We haven't been before but have heard a lot about it. They had a lot of options on their menu but we went with one we've seen a lot, the potato + cheddar. There was a little bit of a wait because of the amount of orders and they make them to order which I love. When they came out they were super hot. The potato and batter were very crispy and they use a great hot dog in Nathan's all beef dogs. We also ordered a half dozen mochi donuts to go as well. We only were able to try the black sesame one but it was pretty good. Each mochi ball was bigger than other mochi donuts I've seen in the area but the black sesame flavor was subtle. Definitely a place to come back to if I'm looking for a small lunch/snack but not sure if just one will do it for me.

Stopped by fairfax for some errands and was really craving the hot dogs! I got the potato and mozzarella hot dog. It was sooooo good and the cheese was still so warm after the drive back home. I got spicy Mayo and ketchup as my sauces (spicy Mayo is my favorite with this). The hot dog is not too salty and there was a perfect amount of mozzarella. I also wasn't expecting the dough to be sugary? Some suggestions I would give is give option for mozzarella on the whole dog with the hot dog, the restaurant does half mozzarella and half hot dog for their dogs, if that makes sense lol. Another suggestion is to have the option to not sweetened hot dogs, I was expecting more of a savory taste and just wasn't feeling it today

First time trying a korean hot dog and it was tasty!! We got the spicy potato cheddar hot dog and it was a yummy treat! I would definitely like to try more of their options. They have ramen hot dogs and hot Cheetos hot dogs as well!

This is an interesting find - mochi donut. I had never heard of them until someone posted on the nova subreddit page about mochi donuts, and since H-Mart is right down the street from work, I had to go check this place out. I got the churro mochi donut. If you've never had a mochi donut you're in for a treat. Once you bite in it assumes the texture of a yeast donut, but then you start chewing and it quickly turns into a heavy doughy consistency. If they fry these in oil you'd never know (sometimes you can taste the oil in a donut). I enjoyed it, but I'm not huge on how the donut turns doughy (I understand that's the style though; after all, it IS a mochi donut). It's definitely worth a try and definitely worth checking this place out if you're in the area!! Each donut (as of Oct 1, 2021) is $3, but if you buy 5 you get 1 free.

I have been wanting to try one of these ooey gooey hotdogs fresh just so I can experience a stetchy cheesy pull and i definitely got to do that here! Gangnam Hot-Dog is located in the food court of the fairfax hmart. they're menu is super small and they have a sign that clearly states what is inside of what you'd like to order as well as some actual (plastic) examples under glass. No surprises here! First I have to say, the workers here are taking good care to wipe down tables as soon as people leave, it seems like each booth watches over a few tables in front of their shop. My son and I ordered an "origiinal" dog which is half mozzarella and half hot dog on the inside. It took a few minutes to make, but not long at all considering they are making it fresh and handing it to you immediately so it is still hot and melty! This is the first time I had tried one of these. The corndog type snack was heavy and when I took a bite, filled with that cheesy goodness. The outside is a bit sweet which I wasn't expecting, but it blended well with the salty mozzarella and hot dog on the inside. Came with a choice of mustard or ketchup like a corn dog and I really liked it with mustard. Definitely worth the sweet price of only $4 and looking forward to coming back to try other options!

Located in H Mart's Food Hall. Our first time trying a Korean-style hot dog. The cashier was very kind, helpful, and friendly. They have a variety of hot dogs, all of them looked so good. We went for the Original and Potato + Mozzarella. They came out nice and fresh, neatly wrapped, with sauces and napkins. These hot dogs are dangerously addicting. Good for your waistline? No. Our taste buds were happy though. Light, crispy, slightly sweet, and savory coating. The potato and mozzarella had loads of gooey cheese inside. The crispy pieces of potatoes coated all over the hot dog is ridiculously good! The consistency and flavor of these hot dogs on a stick are on point. Masks are required, hand sanitizer is available, there is a large countertop shield in front of the cashier. Social distancing is enforced (COVID-19 time). So glad we got a chance to try this place out.

    Two Mozzarella Hot Dogs
    Kristen K.

Tried the mozzarella hot dog back in February at the food court. There's only one person running the stand, so it took awhile to make the two hot dogs especially with a couple other orders ahead of us. The mozzarella hotdog has a small piece of hotdog and the rest is a block of mozzarella. Was not a big fan of the batter, it tasted kind of like yeasty with a beer flavor. The hotdog itself was crispy, but the taste kind of threw me off. The cheese inside wasn't as gooey as I would have liked. Overall, probably would not try it again, but it's fun to try since there's not really anything similar in the area.

However, on a recent trip coming back home, I made my way here to kill some time as I had the day off from work. First things first, what a nightmare to find a parking spot and to not get run over by traversing the parking area. I thought I had gone the wrong way at one point to find a spot. And when I did find a spot I was confused and thought I had to pay to park. I wish it were just easily marked on where to go here. Once parked, I found my way inside and just meandered around the space. Popping in an out of stores as I saw appealing. They really do have a ton of selections here. Or, if you are up for it, travel here by Metro.

Having relocating to a new office in the area, I was craving some authentic Chinese food for lunch. Upon walking into the supermarket, I knew something smelled different. Gone (or under repair) is the wet market. No fish in tanks, no turtles swimming around and no clams or crabs over ice. Honestly, the place smelled better. However, was the restaurant with the roasted meals and Chinese entrees still there? Yes! $8.49 for a meal of rice and 2 sides (1 veggie + 2 meat choices), plus a soup. I added a ginormous sesame ball (filled w red bean paste. I was hoping for lotus but yeah for price of $1.99 not happening). Total of $11.11. What did I get? Beef tendon with radish (mostly if not all radish and chuck). I'd pass. Eggplant. Yep, I'll get again. Pork patty. Yep, I'll get again. A soup came with the meal. It was tomato. It was OK.
