The majority of the flowers on display were the fall Chrysanthemum 9" mums. There were all kinds of assortments of those mums. I did notice some nice Montauk daisies that have still yet to bloom. I ended-up getting the Basil Everleaf Genovese plant and some awesome purple Petunias. There were a lot of leftover pumpkins and other fall stuff that were listed on sale as well. I wonder if this garden center sells Christmas trees, because I didn't notice too many things related to the Christmas holiday. This is a great garden and flower shop and it almost reminds me of my very first job at a flower shop when I was 12.

We have since gone to other farmer's markets that are dog-friendly, such as Manassas Park Farmer's Market and Mosaic District Farmer's Market during the weekends. The Thursday market in Old Town Manassas is okay for produce and some snacks - but also not dog-friendly. Note that there's no law about not allowing dogs to open-air markets. If the point of this rule is to alienate dog owners who have money to spend, then you have become successful.

I had a pleasant conversation with the organizer of the market and he admitted that the market has many more vendors including produce options come April. There are a variety of produce, meats, and made to order fresh food. Per VA food safety law, no dogs allowed. It has become part of our Saturday morning routine coming to this cozy market! It's open from 8am to 1pm. Greenheart Juices - With a large variety of juices to choose from, the refreshing cold-pressed Summer Crush watermelon juice is my favorite! Definitely ask for a sample and the staff is always so nice! Greenheart is also at the Mosaic District, Bethesda, and other DMV markets. Savagely Good Pies - The creamy Spinach and Cheese quiche and the Asparagus and Melted Leek quiche are hearty and delicious! Don't forget about dessert - the Apple Pie is divine! The pies are often sold out - so highly recommend pre-ordering. Los Sabrositos - The wood-fired Breakfast pizza with red peppers, onions, scrambled egg, bacon, and Mexican cheese is scrumptious and filling! While the crepes are tasty, they don't keep as well and the pizza is my pick! The fresh Mango, Pineapple, and Strawberry and Banana smoothies are refreshing and delicious!
