RATING: 3.5 stars FOOD We came in around 11:00 am to no line and ordered the 5-corndog assorted combo-- the half mozzarella-half sausage, the spicy sausage, the sweet potato, and the regular potato. They all tasted good, but we wouldn't say there were particularly amazing. It's a good eat if you're craving something salty, but I wouldn't go out of my way for them. Gold Miss also offers a variety of mochi donuts, but we didn't order them. DRINKS There were a couple of fruit ades available on the menu, but we didn't order them. SERVICE It was not far off opening time, so our order took about 20 minutes to make. I'm not sure how it is later in the day. PARKING Gold Miss is located in HMart's food court towards the right side. There is ample parking available in front of the grocery store.

Gold Miss (renamed from Gangnam Hot Dog) focuses on freshly-baked mochi donuts and Korean hot dogs! I couldn't get over the cute logo, so I knew I had to check this place out! In terms of the Korean hot dogs, you can choose from Original, Mozzarella, Sweet Potato, Potato + Mozzarella, Potato, Cheddar Cheese, Sweet Potato + Mozzarella, Potato + Cheddar Cheese, Spicy, Spicy Mozzarella, Spicy Sweet Potato, Spicy Cheddar Cheese, Spicy Sweet Potato + Mozzarella, or Spicy Potato + Cheddar Cheese. They also have Sweet Potato Cheese Balls and Hotteok! In regards to the mochi donuts, flavor offerings include: Black Sesame, Churro, Cookie & Cream, Dark Chocolate Mochi, Frosted Strawberry, Glazed, Mango Mochi, Matcha Mochi, Pineapple Mochi, Rainbow Mochi, Strawberry, and Taro! I ordered their milk tea that comes in a can, a Cheddar Cheese hot dog, and some Sweet Potato Cheese Balls. I love that all the sauces are automatically included and the place isn't stingy about it! Also, they have the large squeezable bottles with all the different types of sauces located by the cashier, so you can sauce your items up to your heart's content! Note that items are made-to-order, so you're always guaranteed to get your items fresh! The staff were kind and friendly, and once you order and pay at the cashier, you are given a number and just listen for it over the P.A. system. You can locate them as one of the vendors at the H Mart food court. Plenty of parking in the grocery lot. +Korean hot dogs! +mochi donuts! +friendly & kind staff! +located in the food court of H Mart +plenty of parking in the grocery lot

I'll be pithy, these donuts are delicious! In the picture below, there are 2 donuts missing because I ate them too fast! The missing ones are the black sesame and injeolmi. The donuts are $3 each and they are worth it! Taste: the dough itself is very bouncy. Each bite was a pleasure because the whole chewing process was easy and fun! The toppings were scrumptious! The balance of flavor and sugar was flawless and no element was overwhelming. My friends brought these donuts to us as dessert. I'm about to bring them a whole box the next time as an entree! 10/10 or 5/5, I will definitely drive all the way down to Fairfax to buy more!

One of the many food options inside the H Mart food court in Fairfax. They offer a variety of hot dogs in mild or spicy as well as a selection of mochi donuts. We tried the Sweet Potato Hot Dog. It was hot and fresh and made right after ordering. I like how they served it in a bag so you can easily take it to go or dine in. Their service was good! Although there was a bit of a wait, but they were very friendly. I'll definitely come back for their other hot dog flavors and mochi donuts!

I actually won one of their first giveaways at the location inside HMart I had the pleasure to try all flavors and enjoy each of them. One thing that sets them apart for costumers is the batter & the sauce variety. This box was eaten with a friend. The ambience in the food court is really nice and you get to enjoy other cuisines. Their service to costumer was also pleasant and friendly. I definitely missed the chance to try their mochi donuts but that's something I look forward to in a future visit. VA is too far away for me so I stick to the locals here in Balt. Definitely recommend you follow their socials to stay up to date and participate on the GAs.

The wide selection of mochi donuts and hot dogs are impressive, but what is more impressive is the quick and friendly service. I ordered a gold miss milk tea, which is a delicious jasmine-flavored milk tea, but the top metal cap that seals the plastic cup and top broke. When I asked the staff if it was possible to unseal the broken top, she generously made me a new drink. The donut was sweet, chewy perfection and the bubble tea really hit the spot. Will def be reurning to try the hot dogs!

I love mochi doughnuts, it's my favorite. My sister in law bought this for me while she was in Va. she knew i love mochi anything. They were good fresh flavors. Pineapple was my favorite very unique. They seem to have a lot of fruit flavors which i like a lot.

Very adorable Korean food court atmosphere in H-mart. Service was okay. My friend and I wanted to try the famous Korean hotdog together and wanted to share one before ordering more. We asked for a folk and knife to cut to split our order as we both have a condition where it's difficult for us to use our front teeth to bite down on large food (I have TMJ) but they didn't let us have more than 1 plasticware. I was a bit disappointed in such a restriction. I am Korean and had MyungRang hotdog in S. Korea. So I was a bit disappointed in their Korean hot dog. Lack of sugar, and the hot dog wasnt as crunchy&crispy. I was also disappointed in lack of variety of sauces compare to Korean hotdogs I had in S.Korea. :(

I've been wanting to try Korean cheese dogs for a long time I keep seeing them online and on TV and on my friend Social media feed So when I went to H Mart and saw that they were selling them I got super excited we tried several different varieties they are very interesting and really yummy my favorite was the one that had sausage and cheese I also like the Mochi donuts They had unique flavors like Ube and matcha they are soooo good

1/5 way too dense, flavor tasted way too artificial

*REVIEW IS ONLY FOR THE MOCHI DONUTS* Stopped by on a busy Sunday and was glad to see an assortment of Mochi Donuts from Gold Miss! Unfortunately, these were a miss. Typically with mochi donuts, I like a slightly crispy exterior, with a chewy interior that doesn't scream mochi, but still has the nice chew factor (does that make sense? Lol). Gold Miss' mochi donuts were dense, not crispy, and most importantly, the flavor wasn't there and the icing/glaze tasted way too artificial I'll def have to stop by again to try there corn dogs! Separate review for that in the future for sure.

Hot diggity dog! I did a review of gangnam hotdog before but since they renamed themselves (I'm assuming due to change of management) I figured I'd oughta check it out again. I'm sooo glad I did bc their corn dogs are delicious!! I like that they give you a whole sausage covered cheese as opposed to half sausage n half cheese like at two hands in siroo. They don't have the instagrammable hot cheetos topping but their spicy batter+potato crust is so good you won't miss it. Definitely check this place out in the hmart food court!

Oooh...nom nom! Every time I go to the H Mart there's a line of patrons buying mochi donuts and "corn" dogs. I finally bit the bullet and joined the bandwagon. And boy I've been missing out! Best "dogs on a stick" ever!! Paired with black tea boba milk tea...the perfect afternoon snack. Be prepared to wait a bit as the dogs are made from scratch, but it is well worth it.

Soooo good! It's located inside of H Mart grocery store and it's so good! They have a small food court with about 5-6 places including these amazing Mochi donuts and Korean hot dogs! Customer Service was great as well!

You see, sometimes the quality does matter and quantity is something that is overrated. Meokja Meokja demonstrates that at times quality trumps quantity in Kbbq. The cuts of the meat were all very fresh. I especially enjoyed the beef brisket. It was very tender. A lot of the times at AYCE Kbbq, the beef brisket can be quite dry. Not the case here. The waitress cooked all of our food, which is something I haven't truly appreciated in a while. It does make the food a bit more enjoyable when I don't have to do all the work. This restaurant is not super big. It was already borderline packed despite that we went there right when it opened. My friend told me there is one time they waited almost an hour at 9PM. So I would definitely get here early to avoid a long wait. While I had always been a loyal fan of AYCE Kbbq, I have found myself over the recent years slowly being tipped over towards the a la carte territory. Meokja Meokja has been the tipping point that finally swayed me over. The price here is about the same as AYCE, but with better quality, and I don't feel like trash after finishing the meal. Overall, AYCE Kbbq can be a messy affair, but I felt very clean and satisfied after eating here. A very solid Kbbq meal that I haven't had in a while.

Food was a mixed bag. We started with the yuk hae and mandu, which were solid but not particularly memorable. A note for the mandu was that it came out soggy and sat in water which was a bit disappointing for the price point. The meat quality was excellent though, with great marbling throughout the meal. The banchan leaned lighter in seasoning than I'm used to, but the broccoli and marinated quail eggs were standouts. I also appreciated the variety of salts served alongside the meats. My favorite was the volcanic salt! Service was where things fell short. We felt rushed or almost transaction for most of the meal, and it seemed like closing duties took priority over the guest experience. Tea refills took a while, banchan refills had to be requested multiple times, and there wasn't much guidance throughout the grilling experience. We had to ask what cuts we were eating and what each salt was. At this price point, I expect a little more storytelling and attention to detail. The grill also ran extremely hot, making it easy for some cuts to cook past our preferred temperature and constant smoke blew into the middle seat's face. A few tips: don't wear your nicest clothes because the ventilation isn't on the same level as Seoul Prime or Ingle. Make a reservation if you want a grill table, and don't be afraid to ask for banchan refills!! Would I come back for Korean BBQ? Probably not. I'd personally choose Seoul Prime or Ingle. That said, I saw several main dishes that looked promising, and I'd be open to giving the restaurant another shot. The foundation is there, but for the price and the hype, I think the overall experience needs a bit more refinement.
