Delivery review ahead…read more I was craving a really good breakfast sandwich and this place delivered just that! When I talk about quality sandwiches, Semicolon cafe wins! The packaging was handled with care so both of my sandwiches arrived nice and hot. I ordered the B.E.L.T and a grilled cheese. The B.E.L.T was a conversation starter, the bread was buttery and smooth-melts right in your mouth after each bite. The egg with corn, never tried that combo but honey, it was fantastic!!!! The bacon was quite generous and prepared with the perfect crisp and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, complementing the sandwich. The sauce on top was a shining star! So much flavor spread evenly throughout the sandwich. My boyfriend loved his grilled cheese sandwich which came with bacon and spinach. Definitely glad that I found this place! I'll order again and this time I want to try their lattes.

It's simple, really good and one of those easy sandwiches to grab when you're in a time crunch. Parking can definitely be hit or miss since it's one of those retail spots tucked into an apartment community, which seems to be super common here in Falls Church. I also tried the chocolate bingsoo once, but unfortunately by the time it got to me it was pretty melted. I'd be willing to give it another try though, especially if I'm picking up my food in person next time. The couple of times I've gone, the lady working behind the counter has been very nice and helpful in her recommendations. Overall, it's a small, quaint little spot with plenty of outdoor seating, which would be really nice on a good weather day. I'll definitely keep coming back for that grilled cheese.

Loved that combination, and the ube taiyaki was another favorite- im a sucker for ube. It came out fresh and warm, which made it that much better like a warm hug. This was supposed to be a quick stop, but I liked it enough to come back the very next day to try more flavors! On my second visit, I tried the Thai tea filling and another one I believe was Oreo ice cream swirl. The ube is still the one I'd come back for, but it was fun trying something different. Service: The staff was super friendly and helpful. Since it was my first time, I appreciated them helping me figure out what to order. There were several things I wanted to try, so having them tell me their favorite was a no brainer it made the experience even better. Atmosphere: The space was clean and had plenty of seating. I appreciated being able to sit down and enjoy everything while the taiyaki was still warm. A nice spot to take a little dessert break and a nice vibe. This is definitely a place to take a date! Overall: Coming back two days in a row probably says enough about how much I enjoyed Rice Culture! Between the fresh, warm taiyaki, the ube sesame ice cream swirl, and the friendly staff, this was an easy place to love. Definitely recommend trying the ube sesame swirl if you're having trouble deciding!

The stuffed Oreo fish was a little dry and definitely wasn't my favorite, but it's still good for what it is. It's a bit pricey for a dessert, but I think it makes for such a fun outing. I also thought their cup desserts to-go were really cool and unique! The inside of the shop is super cute and aesthetic, too. I loved all the decor and the overall vibe. There isn't much employee interaction since you order through a kiosk, but honestly, that was totally fine and made the process quick and easy. Definitely worth checking out if you want a cute, unique dessert experience!

The food truck menu had a solid amount of different ice cream flavors and cookies for making your own ice cream sandwich/sinwich, or you could try one of their specialties, which is what I did. I love brownies, so ordered the big ass brownie sinwich, which consisted of brownie-based cookies, sandwiching coffee ice cream with some crushed almonds and chocolate syrup on top. Like most ice cream sandwiches, it gets messy, so ate this with a spoon and considered myself lucky. The brownies were the best part of the sandwich, as the texture was soft and fudgy instead of a cake base, which is how I prefer brownies. The coffee ice cream was solid, but was more creamy than coffee. The crushed almonds on top helped add some crunch. I definitely shared this baby, as the portion was huge. But no regrets. If the ice cream sandwiches are this good, then I imagine the food that's catered is just as good or better. Glad to have discovered Sinplicity while I was in the DC area.

The workers there were nice and patient as we chose our flavors and perused the menu. The store itself is located in a food hall which lends itself to have a variety of seating options. I got a premium beef dog with potatoes. They ask if you want sugar and the answer is yes. You have different options of what to top your dog with so I did ketchup, mustard, spicy, and mayo... almost everything (lol) The dog itself is a bit underwhelming but everything around it is perfection. I think next time I'll try a rice cake dog or a mozzarella dog for more novelty. My only wish is that the dog tasted more like a Kirkland hotdog from the food court! (Take notes, Oh K-Dog!) My friend got an egg toast and she loved it! They make the experience a little less messy with their packaging but she def still needed a fork and knife to finish it -- just a heads up for those that like to keep it clean while eating! Seating is abundant, but it does get crowded. Highly recommend Oh K-Dog if you're in the Ballston area :)

Outdoor seating is a bit noisy at the moment due to construction across the street. My only complaint is that $3.50 for a very small drip coffee felt a bit steep - the small felt smaller than usual.
