The Four Guys Food Truck has an extensive menu, offering various burgers, fried chicken sandwiches, chicken or cheesesteaks, and various side items. We saw them, along with other food trucks, in front of a nursery, and we decided to check them out. We ordered: +a Philly - you can opt for chicken or steak as your protein, so we opted for the steak; this usually comes with onions, lettuce, and tomatoes, which we omitted; we only stuck with the grilled onions, mayo, and provolone; the sub itself was just okay; not as much meat as we would have liked, and instead of the usual provolone cheese, they used a cheese sauce; not much grilled onions, and the onions that were used were diced, rather than sliced +Cheese Fries - the fries were thin, but some were seasoned and some were not; the cheese sauce was the same thin consistency that was found in the cheesesteak +Corn Dog - the picture was slightly deceiving, as it seemed like a set of 2 were in an order, but it was just one; the exterior had a nice crisp, but we weren't fans of the dog that was used - not sure if it was chicken or turkey, but it had a pale color to it and wasn't tasty; in addition, all the items didn't seemed to be warmed through or temperature hot, which was super disappointing The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they stated that they try to show up at local places - I believe I remember them being part of the food truck group at Tanger Outlets at National Harbor. Glad we were able to check this place out, but not sure if we'd return. +items were not served temperature hot +friendly staff

If you're on the hunt for a seriously satisfying bite, look no further than the steak and cheese sub from Four Guys. This sandwich is everything a great sub should be--hot, hearty, and absolutely packed with flavor. The steak was perfectly cooked: juicy, tender, and seasoned just right to let the natural beefy flavor shine through. Piled high on a fresh, toasted roll, it was the kind of sandwich that holds up from first bite to last. The cheese was melted to perfection, coating the meat in gooey goodness without overpowering it. Add in the grilled onions and peppers, and you've got a beautifully balanced bite that hits all the right notes--savory, slightly sweet, and incredibly satisfying.

had them again today, amazing burger!! I cannot get over how generous the quantities are for the price, their fries are seasoned to perfection! service was quick, under 20 mins! the meat is nice and tender, loved talking to magdy (the owner) really funny and kind guy! I highly recommend them if they're in your area, one of the best burgers you can get in the DMV!

I ordered the Fonz Italian Sausage layered with pastrami (seemed like lunch meat) and melted cheese on top. I think it was provolone. Served on a toasted bun. Filling and satisfying, good flavor. The hot fries was a regular order of fries served with an imbalanced sprinkle sort of dumped on the top layer of fries and not distributed all the way through, which had an extra cost of $2 for the sprinkle of spices, which was an annoying difference in price in my opinion. Solid options for beer and a few ciders. Full bar as well. TVs on the walls only showing sports. You get a table number, order at the counter, pay, and they bring it out to the table number. Casual spot. My immediate thoughts...this place is overpriced. My sausage dog, fries and cider came to $26, plus tax, so about $31 bucks. I repeat, $31 bucks. I honestly felt as though the place was price gauaging. A few other people at my table mentioned the prices and thought they were overpriced. Not much service received, just them bringing the order out. Food was yummy, but I'm not convinced about the value. I have had sausage dogs, hot dogs, fries and beer around the world and I feel this place was overpriced. I like the atmosphere because its a perfect place for casual dining and decent for groups.

This time, (Apr 2026), the "big" one of their two food trucks was among the dozen vendors invited to Food Truck Friday at the Elkridge Volunteer Fire Department. This larger Catalyst truck serves their full menu: dogs, smash burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries, soft drinks, and more snacks, sides, and sweets. Their menu has ten dressed dogs, vegan dogs, and fourteen toppings for build-it-yourself requests. There are combos that save you a few dollars. Ok, usually, they have those soft beverages, but for this event, the VFD is the sole beverage-seller, at good prices, as a bit of a fundraiser. Of course, we get Catalyst's Chicago dog! Tyler always has poppyseed buns he makes from fresh-baked rolls! They make a perfect mix of toppings with genuine short bitey sport peppers, bright tangy relish and a pickle wedge, fresh dense juicy tomato chunks, bright chopped white onions, good old yellow mustard. Every bite is a delight. Find a Catalyst Hot Dog truck. Get one of the best dogs in the area! For those who wont get to Chi-town any time soon, dive into this Chicago dog. It's authentic! And while that's our go-to, we admit we're coming back to try other vendors at Food Truck Fridays at the Elkridge Volunteer Fire Department! But most if all, we're looking forward to Catalyst Hot Dog's brick-and-mortar opening in Burtonsville in the fall of 3026! Oh, and a pro tip: If the listed hot-dog event is at a smaller venue, call that venue ahead of time. Sometimes the events cancel or change dates without enough notice for Catalyst to post about it. You have different options of what to top your dog with so I did ketchup, mustard, spicy, and mayo... almost everything (lol) The dog itself is a bit underwhelming but everything around it is perfection. I think next time I'll try a rice cake dog or a mozzarella dog for more novelty. My only wish is that the dog tasted more like a Kirkland hotdog from the food court! (Take notes, Oh K-Dog!) My friend got an egg toast and she loved it! They make the experience a little less messy with their packaging but she def still needed a fork and knife to finish it -- just a heads up for those that like to keep it clean while eating! Seating is abundant, but it does get crowded. Highly recommend Oh K-Dog if you're in the Ballston area :)

Located in beautiful downtown Shirlington, it's definitely a working class joint. I ordered a cheeseburger and, bottom line, it was excellent. Certainly better than at the national burger chains. Weenie Beenie is a walk up and order place. There's no inside seating nor a drive- thru. Ordering is really casual, maybe to the point of being a tad offputting. What I'm saying is that the person at the window will have you place your order verbally with him. He does not ring you up nor give you a number. You kinda wonder if the order is gonna be filled. But it is filled, and rather quickly. Weenie Beenie takes both cash and cards. Yeah, I'd likely come back for another burger. They have various other sandwiches, including breakfast and cold cut sandwiches. But kinda odd, right now Weenie Beenie's online menu only shows breakfast sandwiches and a Philly Steak and Cheese. Trust me, they really do have burgers.

Despite the inflated stadium pricing, I soon scurried off to find Ssong's Hotdog, which is located near Section 308. The line was sizable, so I waited about 15-20 minutes before it was my turn to place my order. Unfortunately, they were out of almost everything. The potato mozz sausage stick -- the one I drooled over -- would require a 30 minute wait, which I wasn't down for. MOZZ SAUSAGE STICK - 11.49 This was the only option they had left, which is half mozz and half beef sausage. It was pretty small -- four bites and it was gone. The top half was the mozzarella part, which was completely hollow with maybe a few cobweb strands of mozzarella, so it was mainly batter. Overall, incredibly disappointing K-Dog, and it was stale too! I don't know if I'll attend another baseball game, but if I do, I don't think I'll be back at this K-Dog stall.
