Stopped by here last night (a Tuesday) for dinner. The decor inside was very fancy yet cozy, and there were a handful of other customers inside. Service was excellent and our drinks were never empty. I ordered the wonton soup and spicy basil noodles with chicken, and requested that they make them as spicy as possible. Both were delicious and flavorful, though I wish the noodles packed a little more heat. My boyfriend ordered the sesame chicken, and while he enjoyed it, he commented that it was a little sweeter than he preferred. Overall, an excellent trip. We will definitely be back, and maybe next time can try out their colorful Bubble Tea concoctions! read more

Picked up some food for lunch and was very disappointed! The coconut soup is pure white and basically nothing but coconut milk and tasteless. The lemon pepper wings were salty and raw in the middle. My 2yr started to eat one when I noticed the raw meat. Thank god I caught it in time! We called them for a refund and was told to bring them back to show the chef. Not sure why we would have to show the chef to get a refund. Told the lady on the phone that I was busy and couldn't bring the wings back. She said to bring them back tomorrow. WTH!!?!! I guess they think I'm lying and trying to get over a $5.95 charge. Don't know why they won't just give me a refund for their mistake! Me and my family could've got sick! They are nasty nasty nasty!! Waitress is rude and wants to argue with you when you are unhappy with an order. My spring roll came out piping hot and I could not eat it and when I explained the issue she wanted to argue back with me. I'm very disappointed in this restaurant - I used to be a regular. The food is good.....but it takes forever to get! The last two orders I've placed - once over phone, and then face to face, I waited 45 minutes both times for my food! The owner constantly says "one more minute" but from this day forward I say "Goodbye!" I used to like this restaurant, but I'm pretty upset tonight. I ordered the Tom Yum, and it was mostly broth and inedible lemon grass. It contained one piece of cod (imitation crab meat), one muscle, and one scallop. I'd rate it "okay". What I'm pissed about is the Pho. It cost $10 and contained two small meatballs cut into eights and about two ounces of cooked beef. As far as vegetables, there was one lime slice, three basil leaves, a small handful of bean sprouts, a few shavings of onion, and a teaspoonful of green onion. No tripe. No beef slices. No brisket. Golden Seven is the Worst when it comes to service or customer satisfaction!!! They have no business etiquette and will yell at the customer when you call to ask about the food charges. This place is the worst Chinese restaurant ever. Don't ever deliver from them because they will overcharge you and make it into your fault for not asking them why they put a $5 delivery fee. It is supposedly the customers fault for not asking about delivery fee in the first place. And when you cancel the order they don't want to come pick up the food and want the customer to deliver the food back to them. They also said that they will charge for the one bite of crab rangoon I ate. What kind of a restaurant is this!!! With the Poor Service they are providing I can't believe this place hasn't closed down yet! These people don't have any manners or sense at all. All they care about is taking your money. They don't care about customer satisfaction or service. As a first time customer of Golden Seven and last I implore you take your money elsewhere. If you are a first time customer and wanted to see the reviews to this restaurant before eating there, Don't Bother With this Place! It's not worth your time and money and you'll end up being disappointed like I was. It's been over an hour and they still haven't come back to pick up the food I canceled after they said they would. I was going to head down to the Golden Seven off of Satellite Boulevard in Duluth, but found out that this store recently opened nearer me, so headed here. At 6 o'clock on a Saturday evening, I was surprised there were not more diners, but I wasn't upset since I hate to wait in queue. Pleasant personnel seated us, and, since we were already familiar with the parent location's menu, we ordered promptly. I got the yellow Thai Pork Curry, and wife ordered Beef Broccoli. We started with Sizzling Rice soup, which was chock full of nappa, water chestnuts, bamboo shoots, green onions, chicken, shrimp, rice, and flavorful broth. The really good news ends at this point. The Curry, which I ordered medium hot, really could've been eaten by my 6 year old granddaughter without incident. The curry notes were so slight that the taste of the pork overpowered them, and an undercooked pair of potato pieces were an unwelcome surprise. My wife really liked her beef dish, though. I will come back, if only to investigate a menu item called 'Singapore Noodle Soup'. I will not try any more of their Thai items. Serves me right for ordering Thai food outside of a Thai-only restaurant. read more

This was a random "Im hungry and it's late" stop. It was nice they were one of the few decent looking places open after 10pm. My friends and I stopped in at 10pm. They were obviously starting to close and shut down. When I walked in I said "but wait you guys don't close until 11". They hesitated but the happily said no worries we will still serve you. This basically sums up the entire visit. The customer service that their waitress gave us was phenomenal. Though she was probably tired she gave us her laughter, smiles, and kindness as if we had come in during the first hour of her shift. I truly appreciated it. As for the food, it was honestly just okay, but I didn't order much to really judge. I just ordered the crab Rangoons and shrimp fried rice. It satisfied me for what I needed in the moment. The dining room was quaint but well taken care of and most importantly CLEAN. They don't offer any liquor but they had plenty of beer and wine options. The neighborhood it was in was cute and it seemed like a nice date night area. If for no other reason than the service I most DEFINITELY recommend this hidden little gem in Suwannee. read more

This restaurant is just as good as Golden Seven in Duluth, GA. I love their Thai food, especially the Panang curry. Also, they have the best General Tso Chicken! It's a small restaurant but it's beautifully decorated and the food is served in generous portions. Most restaurants that serve Thai food are greedy in their serving portion and overly priced but not at Golden Seven. It is definitely one of my favorite Asian restaurants to eat at and I love the diverse options their menu has to offer. Love it! read more

2.5 stars. We ate here about a week ago on a hot and sunny Saturday. The location is great since it is in Suwanee Town Center. We ordered 3 Chinese dishes and one Massaman curry. The curry was good....not as spicy as I like but good nonetheless. The orange chicken my one child ordered was OK. Not high on flavor but edible. My other son ordered broccoli chicken and it had no flavor...at all. My wife's sweet and sour chicken was also only marginal. Maybe the lack of flavor and spice is because they are new but I cannot be sure. We might give it another try in a few months....if they last. If they don't pick it up they will be gone before too long. There are lots of places to eat in STC...Ippolitos, Five Guys, Mellow Mushroom, etc. and we were excited to see a Chinese and Thai place. In the end 3 out of 4 of us were disappointed in the meal. They might survive just because of their location. I counted approximately 36 seats plus a bar so the place is small. read more

My wife and I had been to this Golden Seven quite a few times. We have always had a good experience. Many people have mentioned going there and it being empty - It's the same with us in that it's usually not full by any means but that does no detract from the service and food quality. The restaurant is small by it's located in the Town Center park area and it' fun to go there and eat and then walk around the small park. Our usual waiter Kai is very friendly and always happy to server us. We have been there about 8 times and have never witnessed anyone being rude. Some of the wait staff may be less talkative and friendly but what do you expect from a chinese restaurant if you aren't chinese. That being said most of the staff have been friendly to us. Also have been to the Golden Seven in Duluth a few times and it has been a 3-4 star experience as well. The pad thai is good here as well as the mongolian beef. We have had several different beef and chicken dishes and happy with all. I could not find anything negative about this place. They had a 96 health score and the bathrooms were really clean. Great fun location. I had not really had Thai food before, and the helpful waitress pointed me to the Spicy Basil noodles with chicken and the Panang Curry. Both were excellent.
