After seeing Gamila's work firsthand on a vintage garment I wore to the Versace runway show in 2022 my sister immediately recognized that my garment was customized and asked me who did my garment and complimented her skill and craftsmanship. I was only partially happy with the alteration job I received. When I came back to try on, they were much better but still not great, as shown in the image. When I went to check out, I noticed a splotch on the shoulder of the dress on the sleeve. VERY small. When I asked her about it, she said it wasn't there before (which tells me that it happened in the shop, which it did). However she did not offer to dry clean it or try to get the stain out. Reasonably priced. Laura worked on my friend's wedding dress (hemming with a train, fix straps, add cups), her cousin's dress (hemming), and not only my dress for my friend's wedding (hemming), but another jumpsuit I had for my brother's wedding. She fixed the sleeves on a custom jumpsuit I had ordered online. She really knows her stuff. She's able to do it all, and if you ask me she's a magician. She altered my wedding dress and also worked with my mom and I to turn her wedding dress into a mini version that I could wear for my rehearsal, as well as altered my mom's mother of the bride dress. Before coming in, I called to make sure they had experience sewing patches on a military uniform…read more They said yes, that they did it all the time. My husband brought in his uniform, patches, and printed out the specific instructions for them to use. I go to pick his uniforms up a few days later and my husband tells me that it's been done wrong. They sewed his name patch ON the pocket flap when the instructions specified that it belongs ABOVE the pocket flap. No branch of the military has the name patch sewn on the actual flap which led me to believe that they in fact did not have experience with military uniforms. They also cut the name patch incorrectly so it's no longer usable. We had to order new ones which cost $20, and they were back ordered. Great. We ended up getting a partial refund from the business, but were not reimbursed for the name patches. I'm sure this business does well with dresses and suits, but I'd probably go somewhere else for military uniforms, especially when you brought in a physical copy of instructions on where the patches go, that they didn't even look at.

My husband brought in 3 small military rank patches (2 inch squares) to be sewed onto 3 different…read moreitems (cap, coat x2) and this place totally botched it...Patches were not sized right, edges weren't straight, wrong stitching color, stitching uneven, and rank on cap was totally crooked...in addition they charged $86.52 to have it be done in a week. He had to take it to a nearby tailor that same day to fix it and they only charged $36 to reverse their work and do it perfectly THE NEXT DAY. Can't imagine them doing something more complicated than the work we requested...
