When I went to pick everything up, my shirt was missing. I'm sure Kelly saw the look on my face while I was mentally trying to figure out how I was going to replace it before the interview. Before I even had to push the issue, she stepped up and made it right. She paid for a replacement shirt and comped the suit dry cleaning. About a week later, they found my original shirt attached to someone else's order, and I picked it up yesterday. Mistakes happen anywhere. What matters is how a business responds when they do. (The suit was custom tailored at Nordstrom's; so random replacements would never suffice). I expressed concerns about my wedding dress being there for spot cleaning, due to the lack of care and quality check we experienced with the suit. She said that when the suit was cleaned last week, she was gone, and the owner was responsible for cleaning the suit. She literally blamed the damage on the owner Cindy. She also said that there was no guarantee on my dress not being ruined, asked me to come pick it up while raising her voice at me and being short of breath! I politely pointed out that there was no reason to raise her voice at me, and she hung up. I had her on speaker phone with my husband present and we couldn't believe her tone and lack of professionalism. I prepaid $325 for my dress to be cleaned, and the employee who took my order in did not mention that there was any risks or lack of guarantee on hand spot cleaning my dress. UPDATE: the owner, Cindy, reached out to me and said that she doesn't remember the vest buttons being damaged upon cleaning but she did mention that the buttons are made of shell. So, she was deflecting all responsibility here. I was not even offered a full refund, she just wanted me "to come pick up the dress". I had to ask for a full refund! It's been a couple of days and there is no pending refund on my credit card. This company is also false advertising, as they claim to specialize in wedding dresses and that each dress comes with a consultation for best cleaning options.

When I came back to try on, they were much better but still not great, as shown in the image. When I went to check out, I noticed a splotch on the shoulder of the dress on the sleeve. VERY small. When I asked her about it, she said it wasn't there before (which tells me that it happened in the shop, which it did). However she did not offer to dry clean it or try to get the stain out. Reasonably priced. This was my first time using Custom Cleaners, and the employees were incredibly kind and friendly. My dress came back from the dry cleaners perfectly without a stain. I also did an alteration here for the same dress. I did have to have the dress altered twice, but the seamstress was incredibly apologetic and fixed it very quickly - less than 48 hour turn around. It ended up fitting perfectly the second time. They also cleaned the dress a second time for me. I can tell they treated my issue very sensitively, and they cared how I felt as a customer. I started going to Custom Cleaners since i moved to the Antelope area 5 years ago. They are by far the best Dry Clean/Cleaners in town. They offer outstanding customer service. They know their craft well and freely offer advice on the best solution for your needs not the costliest.
