I took my suit here a few months ago and they did a terrible job, the suit came out with stains and loose threads. Not taking here anymore.

Really upset today with Cleaning they did for the shirt I got the shirt was yellow stains and then when I return them and they said usually yellow stains not come off but why they didn't tell me before when I paid And then lady on customer service said oh we press the shirt but I was like who need pressed shirt with the stains doesn't make sense so upset read more

Honest and upfront about stains to manage expectations, but 9 times out of 10 they are able to get them out or make them far less noticeable. They do best when you know what it is and how old it is. read more

This place is the worst. I've come brought a couple of skirts here for alterations and swore I would never be back after they ripped me off charging me WAY more than originally quoted. Well, I accidentally called them one day when looking for a place close to home to take a dress to just get wrinkles out. They said yes and asked how far away I was. I said I lived ABOUT 10 mins away and they said fine they could do it same day. I grabbed my dress, went directly to my car and drove there. I walked in just a few minutes after 5 minutes and they told me they couldn't do my dress because it had been more than 5 minutes since I called. I'm sorry I got stuck at a few stop lights, who takes that literally? Honestly this place has struck out both times I have been there. Time and money wasted, plus terribly rude. I don't write only negative reviews but I hope this saves someone from a bad experience. read more

If you like terrible customer service come here. Ever since the older couple left this place is terrible. I dropped off a suit a week before I had a wedding (Tuesday before). I was told it would be done the next Thursday after, fair enough. I come at 5:30 at their request to pick it up, the guy in the front tells me the alteration lady is sick and I have to come Friday at 5:30pm. Huge inconvenience for me because i had a busy Friday, hence why i wanted them done by Thursday. I understand people get sick and it is out of our control, but a phone call would have been nice so that i didn't have to drive all the way out there. I come Friday morning to ask if the lady can make any accommodation to drop off my suit at least by 11am and of course the ONLY time she can come is 5:30 (the time I'm unavailable). I then just say I can come Saturday morning, but they NEED to be done cause that is the day of the actual wedding and i didn't think i would make it on time Thursday. After talking to my boss, he allowed me to leave work a little early Friday, allowing me to pick up my suit at their requested time. I then go back to the store and tell that to the man in the front. He proceeds to have an attitude and ask me why i changed my mind, instead of just telling me that it's okay to pick up my suit a day late then it's original time. We get into a small disagreement and it's him just talking over me and continuously telling me i was wrong for changing my mind. I will never understand bad customer service to PAYING customers, and how their alteration lady can ONLY come at 5:30 or later during the week. All he needed to do was apologize for the inconvenience and i would have went about my day. Reminder they were suppose to be done thursday 5:30, the lady was sick. Then i was told to come Friday between 5-6pm, a time that doesn't work for me, but i have to rearrange my work day to pick it up. Never coming back here again. read more

This dry cleaners specializes in custom cleaning. I took a 10+ year old dress in to be dry cleaned. The fabric is very sheer and delicate. This dry cleaners did a beautiful job of cleaning it. After moving here, I started dating a couple of dry cleaners around town. After a couple of dates I had to kick 'em to the curb. They were gold diggers and not giving me any love... So six months ago I started looking on trusty ol' Yelp. So at the suggestion of Mrs. K's review, I decided to give Custom Cleaners a chance. Six months later and we are in love. They have awesome hours (open til 7pm and Saturdays!) and a really nice husband and wife team run the place. They are pretty good on the prices and they have same day service. Just an update ... Have used these cleaners several times since my last review, still very consistent with their work. Jean alteration is still at a solid $8. Last week I brought in a pair of jeans for hemming as well as a pea coat to be dry cleaned + button to be re-sewn on ($3). Length was perfect on the jeans, coat looked great. I took a shirt in to have a patch sewn on. I needed the shirt back the same day. They charged me $50.00 to have the work done. When I went back to pick the shirt up, the patch was sewn on crooked. The woman told me to bring the shirt back next week, and she would have the person fix it. So I took the shirt back on Monday, and the woman told me that it would be ready by Friday around 6:45pm. Unfortunately, I could not make it on time to pick the shirt up that Friday, so I went in Saturday morning to pick it up. When I get there, the woman tells me that the person who was working on the patch never dropped the shirt off on Friday, so I would have to come back later around 4:30pm. Now, I'm just wondering... is it me? or should I get back a huge chunk of the $50.00 that I paid to have a simple patch sewn on. I don't want to make this a huge issue, but I know for a fact that I will never, ever use or recommend anyone to use Custom Cleaners @ 7897 Walerga Rd ever again! 1. $50.00 to sewn on a patch. (Ridiculous) 2. The patch was sew on crooked. (Thinking I want my money back) 3. The shirt was not ready from the time I was told to pick it up after bringing it back. (Shady) That's 3 strikes. Ripped a vintage dress I bought and needed it stitched up in less than a week. They got it done in 4 days and it looks great! I couldn't remember where the rip was, so that shows they did a great job covering it up. They were also very nice. read more

The new owners provide incredible service and have gone above and beyond in two recent time-sensitive deliveries. My shirts are properly creased and collars are pressed cleanly. No buttons have been crushed from slamming down the iron press as often happened at a nearby cleaner. My last order include shirts folded for travel. Each was individually wrapped. I am confident that when I get to my destination the shirts will look great. read more

Bad experience, unhappy customer, will not be going back. Ruined my $300 shirt and said, "Sorry, there's no guarantee." They do not care about their customers, only here to make money. Very unprofessional. Honestly, I'm sure if you bring your dress shirts here to be dry cleaned or laundered, they will fine, but DO NOT trust them with expensive items. Have been using this facility for almost 7 years now and always very satisfied. Good quality work, reasonably priced, reliable, good customer service. Dee is very personable, friendly, and makes you feel like family. Only thing keeping from 5 stars is the alterations. Have had work done on one adult suit, one children's suit, and a few dresses, and each time alterations were sub-par. Pant and sleeve lengths too short; dress length cut too short also. read more

They messed my dress pants completely! instead of appologizing, old lady said those burned, thick black lines all across my pants were there. Rude and boorish attitude to their clients! I needed my rather simple wedding dress shortened by about 6 inches, so I went to a few different shops in the area. Dee, the owner, quoted me a price of 40-60 bucks, depending on how many layers the dress was (it's 4 layers). It sounded pretty decent so I set up an appointment to bring my dress in and get measured. She called the alterations guy, and he informed her that he won't be able to do it until the beginning of November, 3 weeks before my wedding. I explained to her that a week before my wedding, I will be moving to the bay area. She assured me the dress would be ready in 1 week, and if any additional work needed to be done on the dress, the alterations guy would do it that same day. It sounded great, so I agreed. The morning of the appointment, I was informed by the alterations guy that I don't pay for the work until the dress is finished. A few hours later, I get a call from Dee, telling me that the work will cost $70, and that I needed to pay for it before I picked up my dress. I went in to the shop to figure out the miscommunication between the two parties, and ended up paying for it after she gave me some crap about how it's her store and she quotes the prices, not the guy that does the work. Fast forward a few days later, I came at a scheduled time to pick up my dress, and I was informed that the dress is not there. Dee told me to come back the next day, the day that I had already scheduled the move for. I told her I couldn't, that I'll be out of town. After several phone calls, and a lot of verbal exchange, she finally got the alterations guy to bring the dress over. When I tried on my dress, it was lopsided!! I mean, the front was shorter than the left side, the right side of the dress was about 2.5" longer than the left side. It was a mess!! When I showed it to Dee, she told me it isn't a big deal. WHAT?!!?? After I took the dress off, she measured it, and indeed realized that it was significantly longer on one side, she grabbed some scissors and tried to even it out herself. I ended up doing it cause I didn't want any more damage being done. I asked for a refund (because why would I pay anyone to butcher my dress) and she told me she can give me 50% back. I agreed, only because I was too tired of getting the run around. I hand her my ticket, and she gives me back $30 and asks if that's OK, too stingy to grab another $5 out of the register. I grabbed my stuff and walked out of there in tears. Never before have I been treated like that, and don't wish that upon anyone. This owner is one stingy hag that takes absolutely no pride in workmanship, shows no professionalism or even as much as common courtesy. STAY OUT!!!! And take your clothes elsewhere. read more

Always very quick when I drop off and pick up. Have done an excellent job with set-in stains and with the collars and cuffs of my shirts.

Been using these dry cleaners easily 10 years, and never had a problem. They have cleaned my wool peat coat, sewed on buttons on the same coat, repaired the neckline on two light weight sweaters that came apart shortly after I bought them from Macys no less! Cleaning quality has always been perfect, and clothes perfectly pressed. They have been able to get coffee stains out of my white designer dress shirts, too. Never had any damaged clothes, and if they can't get a stain out, they don't charge me. I only come randomly, every few months or so, but never had a problem with suits dresses, etc. And they are always very nice and fast!!! If I need something overnight, no problem. If I need it the same day, it's possible if I drop it off first thing in the AM. read more

I have been using this cleaner for all of my business and casual clothing to include bedding and drapes for about 3+ years. I like how they press and starch my dress shirts. The collars are properly rolled, cuffs smoothly pressed and no wrinkles on hangers with medium starch excellent every time. I especially appreciate that if a button breaks they replace it themselves from the extra buttons on the shirts. I hate putting on my dress shirt, buttoning up, putting on tie and THEN noticing the collar button is broken, now I have to take it off and start over, that almost never happens with them. I also like it that I can attach a note to slacks or sport coat etc that asks for repair, alteration or sewing and they do it and I am confident every time that the fee they will charge is fair and acceptable to me. The couple that run the store are very warm and friendly and the hours they are open are especially accommodating. Great service with a smile. read more
