I have been eating from here for years..ordering both online and eating in at the establishment. I'm guilty of ordering from here several times in one day soooo if it wasn't obvious... this is one of my absolute favorite places to eat from in the Bronx and I have tried the majority of their menu. Service is great and fast. Taste is extremely consistent and of above average quality for a diner. The portions are also extremely generous. This is my family spot place for breakfast when I am in town we always need to stop by. I always order the Bronx breakfast but sometimes I am in the mood to try different type of food for breakfast. Got the BLT for $4.25. Healthy meal for a good price! I also came back to get the steak fajita. It was filling but I miss my fajitas in CA! Every single time i call to place an order for pickup (which is not that often) that have guy answer the phone and he places you on hold for 10 minutes. The diner is not that busy so the wait should not be more than 5 minutes. He had me on hold for a record 17 minutes just for my order to be PLACED. i walked in (while the phone call was still on hold) ... the guy acts confused and questioning which location i called. He goes and tries to call the number from his personal phone and what do you know... the phone rings!!!! like magic!!! bro it's not that complicated to take someone's order over the phone, been coming here for years, have been dealing the phone shenanigans for months holding out hope that i wouldn't have to scratch this place off my list of go-to places to eat in the neighborhood. I do not recommend placing orders on the phone here, dine-in experience is probably better. will not be coming back- lost my business. read more

A very under rated diner/coffee shop on Morris Park. Everyone tends to go to the other Golden Eagle a bit further down Morris Park, but trust me, there is nothing wrong with this one. GE 2, is extremely clean and the food literally comes out 5 minutes after its ordered. They offer diner food as well as some Mexican fare (burritos, quesadillas etc.) which is a plus. I honestly don't know what I ate here but it had steak and it was one of the most tender juiciest steaks I've ever had in my life! It was simply cooked to perfection it was the right cut! It was rested well! Simply delicious! However upon entering, I was met with a semi-spacious diner. "Quaint" would be the word to describe it. I sat at the counter, ordered my food, and waited. One thing I noticed was that it was clean. There were no signs of disarray, dirt, smell, or messiness. The food (a cheeseburger deluxe) took less than 10 minutes to prepare. My small interaction with the staff was warm and friendly.
