I've been ordering from here for years. Always good food, and the service is great too. I've never been disappointed.

I can no longer tolerate their impractical food packaging for delivery orders. With my recent and FINAL ORDER, the pad thai sauce ate a huge hole through the styrofoam which is normally lined with aluminum foil and was not. However, also problematic, the aluminum foil rips and tears when eating the food, causing leakage of food and/or sauce between the styrofoam and foil, and sometimes, pieces of foil in food. Both the styrofoam and foil are unhealthy for direct food contact and unsubstainable. While the food is tasty, and arrives hot, the issue with the packaging negates that, for me. read more

I am not really clear why ratings are so low. I got the red curry chicken and it was delicious- so much chicken and veg and very tasty. The only note I would make is I wanted more broth so I added some coconut milk and simmered it on the stove - but it was plenty good on its own and very good pricing for the large portion. The fried rice was ok. I had general tsao's chicken. The chicken wasn't spicy and didn't have any chili peppers in it like I'm used to. The chicken tasted a little different.. Like it was extra chewy and didn't have much tenderness to it. But hey, it was alright for the price. That's all I can ask for with Chinese takeout. I never had a problem with this place but today I did. I ordered, sweet-and-sour chicken with steamed rice and a veggie spring roll. my sweet-and-sour chicken was fine but my spring roll was not fine. when I've bit into my veggie spring roll, I looked at it and something wasn't right it had the veggies in it, but it had shrimp. No I wouldn't make a big deal. A lot of it if I was OK with seafood, but I'm not OK with seafood because I'm highly allergic seafood And it sucks because I was really craving that veggie spring roll but now I may have to go to the hospital. I didn't really check the rating or reviews before my first trip here. It always seemed busy, though, and a coworker recommended it. The Salt and Pepper Chicken was great (and a large portion). Just the right amount of kick. The price was extremely reasonable. Egg rolls were good too! It's obvious that the place is mainly a takeout place. I stayed and ate on site and there were only two other people there (but it was 9 PM). The service was mixed. Two different people spoke to me. I don't know what's been going on with this place here lately.. my mother took me to this Chinese spot every time we got our hair done at TuTu's beauty salon on Nike dr starting at the age of 10. I'm 24 now and The food was phenomenal and prices fair until recently. The recent first attempt I had called in a order 20mins prior to arriving and yet the food was still not done. They had also mistaken the order of spicy garlic beef for a spicy curry beef. Two combination meals for lunch time , which they said be ready in 15mins. Tried again, food was ready when I got there... I ordered cashew chicken and spicy garlic beef for coworker. I've never had golden chopsticks give me Cashew chicken like this.. the chicken was slimy and just textured wrong overall. I've never had a cashew chicken that didn't have a dark gravy/juice. This was grey and just looked and tasted nasty. I couldn't even finish the main. The egg rolls ended up tasting bad too but better than the main course. They also give you such a small container and serving of dipping sauce you can't even fit the egg roll in the container to dip it ! LOL I ended up drizzling over my egg roll and making the biggest unnecessary mess. That was my choice. But I do hope things get better. read more

The food taste is all right if you're in a rush and you needed something to eat, but it's not really the type of food you would savor. the service could've been better. I ordered my food online and I ordered a Wonton (Dumpling filled with cheese.) sesame chicken with steamed rice and a soft drink Coke. My Wonton were filled with pork. My sesame chicken didn't taste like sesame chicken, and there was no sesame seed and the rice Taste it a bit uncooked. Idk if it's just tonight or this is an everyday thing but the staff acts like they hate their lives. Very minimal effort or customer service, however, the food is phenomenal. The egg rolls are delicious and I could live off of these alone. Orange chicken and teriyaki chicken are my go-to, both very good. Fried rice could use a little more if something but it's plain enough for even the pickiest people, no weird taste or smells from it, just easy to eat and delicious. Will be back for sure. And also the prices can't be beat, you get a nice portion for what you pay. And also, the foil is to keep the hot food from melting the styrofoam. First time I've ever seen this but as an avid Chinese food eater I am grateful. read more

Food is no better than anywhere else nearby, but service is worse. Can also confirm other claims that the place is full of acrid smoke when you walk in - not a fun experience to walk into. Saw a few people walk out without their orders yesterday because they were only taking cash but didn't bother to tell anyone that placed orders over the phone. The people working the counter are unapologetically rude and not great at their jobs. Edit: Special thanks to Golden Chopsticks 'management' for chiming in on Google and justifying my comments. I normally order via Doordash both at home and at work, but made the mistake of going into their restaurant to grab dinner for coworkers on my way in. What on earth are they doing to the people who work there? I don't expect people to do cartwheels when a customer walks in and I know work sucks (I was on my way to work, I get it) but holy crap, the blonde girl that works there actually glares at you with hate in her eyes. I thought it was just me, but as I stood there and waited she looked at everyone the same. Barely speaks. The guy working the counter with her was not much better, but at least he just seemed mildly irritable instead of actively hostile. Still like the food, though. read more

I ordered the honey walnut chicken and she ordered general tso's. They had a few customers and it seemed to take a long time to get our food. We dined in and she was given sesame chicken rather than general tso. We're reasonable people so we just accepted what we were given. I myself order sesame chicken all the time at other Chinese restaurants and this was the first I was not a fan of. I did however love my honey walnut chicken and the crab Rangoons. Unsure why the ratings are bad. We've gone here for years and when they are closed i have not found better. Their food is consistent, the portions are good and I've not had a bad meal. If you have dietary restrictions they will modify the menus. They also get the food ready fast. It's always busy so many must like it but not post. This was my first time and my last time going here. As soon as you walk in, you are hit in the face with the smell of old, burnt oil. Your eyes will water. We ordered cashew chicken, Mongolian beef, and some crab rangoons. I had read a different review that said the Mongolian beef was salty and I thought maybe that was a fluke. No. It wasn't a fluke. It was salty as heck. The cashew chicken had this really weird sauce and the vegetables were chopped super thick - it looked like something you would get in a retirement home. As for the crab rangoon - you only get four pieces per order. And they were really sweet. I usually prefer the savory ones, but I know most restaurants make/sell sweet ones. These were overly sweet though, like someone got their kool-aid and cream cheese recipes mixed up. I will say that the wait was really short, but that's because some of the food is pre-made. I really liked the lemon chicken I had. It basically taste the same as the West Broad location but I rather go here to get it due to customer service. While I was waiting for the food, the cashier and another guy was very nice to me and thanked me for coming in. Not sure about the other choices of food because that's all I get everywhere I go. I think this is one of the best places to eat in Hilliard. For me it doesn't get any better than the fast service and amazing food!!! The only thing I think that could be done better is the "spicy" food. Red pepper flakes in my food isn't as appealing as maybe crushed red pepper. Best friend was craving Chinese food, so I let her pick the place. She spoke very highly of this place, but I was not impressed. I ordered Chicken and Broccoli, but received mostly mushrooms, lettuce, a little bit of chicken and some broccoli. The steamed rice I had was severely undercooked. The prices were that of the average Chinese restaurant, but at those places, I will typically get enough food for two meals. After I had picked out the vegetables I didn't order, I barely had one serving of chicken. I was in a time crunch, otherwise I would have brought it up to management. read more

This restaurant is decent. I've ordered delivery twice and the orders were right and they were timely both times. Portion size is good - the dishes will feed my 125 lb. self three times :) We first tried this place when we overheard some people talking about how great the shrimp toast was. It is a good little appetizer to munch on. The pot stickers are also pretty good, especially if you like a little ginger on your pallet. I wasn't impressed with the happy family or the vegetable lo mien, but enjoyed the sweet & sour chicken and shrimp with lobster sauce. For the money this place hits the mark. read more

I went here last week and it reeked of paint fumes. I looked around and guys were painting the restrooms, while they were open, during the dinner rush. WTF. We couldn't eat our food there because we started to get headaches. Even when we brought the food home, it stunk of toxic paint fumes. not cool, bro. I got the orange chicken and it was fine. The paint fumes really added to the zesty flavor. I used to really like this place and went to it ever since they opened but I don't plan on going back anytime soon. read more
