As I pulled the container out of the bag, I was pleased to see it filled with not only wontons, but also shrimp, chicken, roast pork, carrots, broccoli, snap peas, scallions, celery, and mushrooms all in a flavorful broth. She then informed me that they only had one delivery driver and asked me to pick up my order instead. I simply asked whether I would receive a discount if I had to pick up an order that was supposed to be delivered. Unfortunately, she became defensive, took offense to my question, and hung up without even taking my order. I have been a loyal customer for years, and my orders are typically over $100 each time. It is extremely disappointing to lose a customer over an interaction that could have been handled professionally. I believe this employee needs additional customer service training, especially when dealing with loyal customers. I hope management takes this complaint seriously and addresses the situation appropriately.
