Visited on a Saturday afternoon about less than a week since they're grand opening and I must say Golden Chick in Midland is on point with their crispy juicy Chicken tenders. The Midland restaurant is consistent with what you would expect at other Golden Chicks across Texas, excellent fried chicken at fast service. The fries were golden crispy paired well with a soft buttery roll, however the only downside was their ice cream machine seemed to not be working otherwise great job Golden Chick, until next time!

I wish I could put a zero but I have to put a one star , the mashed potato was sour and watery (spoiled , rotten and disgusting ) !!! the french fries tasted old and when i mean old , OLD & COLD !!!! and the Chicken was so old , it wouldn't even come apart ! the workers have 0 hygene !! no hair net , no gloves , and were wiping their sweat on they're shirt while we ordered .... Just nasty ! Ohhh and they had 0 fountain drinks , or plates for people to eat , someone else befote us clearly ordered an specific type of chicken and they never told him there was none left , and had to eat what they gave them ! I use to love coming & getting food from here but not anymore . My fiancé & I got it today & it just wasn't great if I'm gonna be honest . The lady threw our food in the bag and my fiancé said the gravy wasn't even mixed all the way I wish I could have took a photo it was just water & powder, the service could be better . The food is always fresh. The golden roast is unlike anything else you can get from a fast food restaurant. The fries are crispy but not hard. The dirty rice is cooked and seasoned perfectly. Don't sleep on the corn nuggets. Try them you won't be disappointed. read more

Great chicken, yummy mashed potatoes, and iced tea that actually tasted brewed. The service was fast and the restaurant was clean inside. It seems like it might be a new addition to the area. It's not too far off Interstate 20 and definitely worth a stop. read more

They keep messing up on big orders. I had 3 bad visits before acting. I contacted management and they did contact me. Thats good - right, but then they made a bunch of excuses and said they were doing the best they could. I guess getting fresh food and an accurate order is expecting too much. It would also be nice to have the complete menu available as items haven't always been available. Also, it gets kinda of expensive when you keep getting shorted items from your order. I have gotten good service on my single order visits, but have decided to give them a chance to get it together before a return visit. Its been over 4 months since my last visit. I will try them again, but I really try to reward the restaurants with my Dollar that have delivered more consistent service. Excuses don't really matter to me, but actions do! read more

Today I Walked into a fast food restaurant due to being in a hurry and being starved. Midland has seriously fallen by the wayside on fast food employees. However, I walked into this Golden Chick and ordered my meal, sat at a clean table, received my meal, and enjoyed great food! I also noticed the man that took my order wearing the cooks coat, he was very polite, he took my order just as I wanted it without question. I sat down to eat, I happened to notice Ben, also cooking, stocking the utensils, the drinks island materials, cleaning off tables and then as I was finishing I watched the same man grab the broom and begin hustling all around the entire restaurant cleaning before the next rush of customers. Ben, you sir are a rare find in the fast food industry. I hope the owner of this restaurant realizes what a top notch employee he has!
