Have been here a few times and the service is so so. Noot great, not good, but not terrible either. Its not uncommon to see several dirty tables and have a 15+ minute wait for food. The food is usually really good but the staff and lack of clenliness is an issue. I had to bus and wipe down my own table before having a place to sit. This location is nothing like the ones back home in College Station, and the sad part is that the solution to the problem is simple. This wing-stop in Midland, has definitely got it together. As far as restaurants go in the Midland/ Odessa area, they are at the top of their game, when it comes to customer service. They truly go above and beyond. The assistant manager George runs this location, with excellence. I've eaten at this location several times, and no matter how busy they are, he is making sure the customers needs are met. This is my second visit to this Wingstop in Midland. I did not want to write a review after the first visit so I waited until my second visit. The first issue, just as my first visit it the long wait time, this time they actually had a sign up stating 31 minute wait. I put in my order and waited and that lasted about 40 mins. I got the order and upon looking at it when I got to my hotel I realized the fries were bits and pieces, over cooked and very hard, possibly burnt and saturated with salt. This was absolutely terrible. The wings themselves were also saturated with salt. Worst place to order wings from. The customer service is completely deplorable. I walked up to the counter and ordered a 6 piece with corn, the lady at the counter didn't ask if it was to go. She assumed it was dine-in. They told me it would be about 45 mins. People that ordered after me were told 30 mins even though their orders were larger than mine by far. About 30 mins into my wait time, I decided to ask them if my order was placed as a to go order, BIG MISTAKE, the kitchen staff decided to skip over my order several times everyone that came in after me received their orders and left. I waited for an entire hour and nothing I still hadn't received my order. I decided to walk up to the counter and asked if my order was ready and the lady at the counter told me that my order was in fact still not ready. So I decided to ask for my money back she then told me let me check one more time. Magically my order was ready and she said we're sorry your order has been ready and asked do you still want your order? At that point, they could not pay me to take that order. I decided to get my money back and decided to ask for a receipt stating that I would be getting my money back because the lady at the counter did not bother to want to give me a receipt. The food was good, but the service was bad. We got served cold fries and when we asked for some new ones they took about 15-20 minutes to give me some fresh fries. Girl that took order had very poor English then when got order they read back to me what I had and I asked to make sure we got everything including the 6 ranch she said yes.
