But since we were staying in Placerville for a couple nights, I thought I might have to give up some of that healthy eating. Lo and behold... the Placerville Food Co-op!!!! Organic fruits, vegetables, kombucha on tap (and special kombucha from well known brands), gluten free snacks/frozen foods, oat milk, non-dairy ice cream, organic dog foods, food + fresh pressed juiced bar... oh my heavens, I was in love. We even found gluten free brownies and dairy free chocolates from well known out of state brands. And well-priced. Not to mention, we asked for recommendations on gluten free friendly restaurants and the store clerk came back with a list of 15 restaurants! Was not expecting that. Please support this co-op if you are ever in the town of Placerville. Definitely a hidden gem.

We randomly decided to stop by Blend one afternoon back in 2023 for their soft opening, and I'm…read morehonestly really glad we did. What started as a random stop turned into a place I really enjoy coming back to. From the beginning, Jayden, Dylan, Jeremy, and Michelle have been some of the nicest and most welcoming people I've met. Over time, I've actually built genuine friendships with them, and that's probably one of the things I appreciate most about Blend. It feels less like you're walking into a business and more like you're walking into a place where people actually know and care about each other. The family has also been a really positive influence. They're the kind of people who are willing to talk with you, listen, and make you feel welcome whether you're having a good day or going through a rough one. Blend has become a place where people can come to relax, meet new people, make friendships, and just have a positive environment to be around. They have kava, protein shakes, acai bowls, and food if you're looking for something to eat. The customer service is great, and they're always willing to answer questions and explain what they offer. They recently remodeled the place too, and it looks great. The lighting, music, seating, and overall atmosphere make it a really comfortable place to hang out. Whether you stop in during the day or later at night, they do a great job creating a chill atmosphere. There are also plenty of good food spots along the strip, so it's an easy place to stop by and make part of your afternoon or evening. I originally stopped by on a whim, but I've ended up making some really good friendships here. That alone says a lot about the kind of environment they've created. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend giving Blend a try. Come in, grab something, hang out for a while, and meet the people. You might just end up finding a place you keep coming back to like I did.

Dylan at Blend deserves ALL the praise!!…read more This guy was genuinely the most helpful, most polite, most energetic person I've ever encountered. His good mood was absolutely contagious, and his customer service was beyond anything I could've asked for. And the Açaí bowl?!? I will absolutely be returning, and honestly, somebody needs to give this dude a raise immediately. He deserves it!! 10/10 experience. 100/10 Dylan.

I heard him being told I only got 4.3 gallons then when I did the math in my head I knew that wasn't right. I questioned him that that wasn't right, he said it was just taxes. I didn't continue to argue with him due to others waiting in line. I know it's only several dollars but if he cheats everyone, that's just bad business. We live in a small town area and I refuse to do business with this kind of people if I can help it. I'll give my business to someone else.
