This place is decent. I went here for lunch with some colleagues. Average price, but the food wasn't spectacular and the service was pretty slow. I got the C + C (teryaki chicken and California roll.....not too complicated) and it definitely wasn't my favorite. This place has great food at very reasonable prices. The gyoza and mixed tempura were delicious and the yakisoba was fantastic! The kids options are very reasonably portioned and tasty as well. The only reason why I didn't give it 5 full stars is they have a pretty small menu and a super limited sushi menu. Some rolls also have ribeye beef in them, which sounds less than appetizing (in my opinion). The staff are very friendly and the cooks clearly know what they're doing! Today, this was my first time to eat at this place. I have driven past it many times and thought I would give it a chance. I was hoping that their idea of an Asian fusion menu would mean many different dishes from different parts of Asian. Sure they have different dishes from different parts of Asia, but they appear to be only poor imitations made from ingredients found in a Korean kitchen. My wife had Pad Thai. It tasted nothing like any Pad Thai we have eaten legitimate Thai restaurants. You could really taste and see the Korean chili paste Chicken Katsu with Japanese Green Curry. First of all in Japan Katsu is normally pork. The curry was nothing special. It was the same curry that I make at home using one of the Japanese (ie House brand) curry pastes. Japanese Curry normally has potatoes and carrots. This had none. Only bamboo shoots. I ordered 3 of 5 stars of spiciness. It was bland. Did not appear to be home made. Beef Pho. My daughter ate this. Whenever we eat Pho, we always compare the soup against White Center Pho in West Seattle because they have the best. This place's pho soup was faux. In other words... less than average. No fresh sprouts, limes, or chilie pepper. Service: We came for lunch. It took 40 minutes from ordering to receiving our food. The Pho arrived about 10 minutes after our other dishes. One cook and one assistant in the kitchen. I won't come back. read more

My daughter and I LOVE Gojis and go for lunch there a lot. We share the Pad Thai and Shrimp Hot Basil. They are great about substituting or adding vegetables like sautéed shrimp instead of breaded and adding broccoli. Their Pad Thai and Hot Basil are on the sweeter side, compared to OnRice, another one of our favorite Thai place in town, and we do prefer the OnRice's less sweet dishes, but that is a personal preference and we still very much enjoy the food quality and more casual environment at Gojis. read more

I've experienced some pretty bad service before but I am patient enough to stick through it to give the business a chance to turn it around with something to save them. But this has been the worse. My partner and I came in on a Friday night, placed an order for a Dynamite roll, See U and Sweet Basil Shrimp. After we placed our order, another couple placed theirs. Once our roll came out, two other couples came in the restaurants and sat on either side of us. I ate one piece of the Dynamite roll and finished up the piece of the pickled ginger that came with it and decided I would like another side of ginger. The server walked by, I made eye contact and smiled and started to ask for ginger--he smiled and kept walking. He came back around, I did the same thing and he kept walking right pass me. So, I walked up to the bar where the three servers were chatting and asked for ginger. They rushed to get it for me, that was good. I went on to enjoy the rest of the roll with my partner, while two other couples who came in after us placed their order. We finished the Dynamite roll, watched as the couple right after us receive their roll, and then their two stemming hot noodle entrees right after that. We continued to wait as the 2nd couple who came in after we've placed our order receive their entrees...and continued to wait as the 3rd couple after that received their entrees. My partner asked one of the servers what is taking our entrees so long, and the server went to ask the kitchen staff, who laughed off the request. That's when partner and I have had it and paid for our roll and drink and left. No apologies from any of the restaurant staff. I still don't know what took so long with our entrees. Is it possible that we received that despicable and unapologetic service because partner is Black and I am Asian...and ALL other couples who ordered AFTER us and received their entrees BEFORE are White... read more

I love Goji. I say I could eat there every day and be content & happy but instead I usually have to settle for at least once a month (its a bit out of my way). I will admit, I am stuck in a rut when it comes to ordering and only ever get the Bulgogi Don. But it is so damn tasty. Yummy marinated beef over romaine lettuce and a scoop of white rice with amazing sauce drizzled over it. I'm salivating as I type this. The atmosphere is fun, good for groups. The service is always stellar and the staff is genuinely nice. The prices are right and there isn't anything I can criticize...except I wish it was closer to my house. We got way too much food because we wanted to try everything. The gyoza was so flavorful (and the sauce just added to it!). The tempura was cooked to perfection. The goji roll was hard to stop eating and the Se U was everything I'd want it to be - flavorful and cooked beautifully. It was easy to park; we were able to sit down right away. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food came out very quickly. If I'm ever back in Bellingham, I'd go there again without question! Great meal tonight at the Goji Bistro. I had the Go-Delight chicken and vegetables which I ordered number 4 out of 5 on the spicy scale. It was chock-full of vegetables, and had the perfect amount of spice. Hubby had the Goji Beef dish and it was good, his only complaint was there was too much beef and not enough vegetables! Went back a 2nd time coz the Singapore Street Noodles were so good. Got the same (and what seems to be the only waitress on staff) again. Ordered the Yakisoba, again so good, until I got to the foreign object, was it a whisker, or was it a bristle from their dishwasher machine? The waitress brought the check, and I showed her the foreign object. She took the plates, and did not return. I took the check up to her, and paid. I said you didn't check on the foreign object and get back to me, so no tip. She just says, "That's O.K."and walked away. When wait staff doesn't know they are the messengers between the kitchen and customer, restaurants loose customers no matter how good their food is. read more

Ate lunch here today. I got the Singapore Noodles and my partner got the Hawaii Fried Rice as well as gyoza to split. The service was pretty good. One downside is that it's seat yourself with 2 roaming waiters. It took about 10min for ether of them to notice we had arrived. The gyoza had really good flavor and may have been homemade. The noodles were cooked well but tasted pretty bland. Oil and curry powder seemed to be all that was on them. Vegetables were good. My boyfriend's rice was very greasy. The plate had a small puddle in the body from the grease. Not sure what they are trying to say about Hawaii. Overall I'll be back to try something new next time. read more

It may be in a mini mall but the atmosphere is great. High ceilings and lots of wood. This has become one of my favorite lunch spots. Maybe I got lucky, but I had a great Korean meal, served in a reasonable amount of time, for a good price. They did a little to try and transform a standard strip mall space, but they're limited, I think, by the 2 entrances. It's awkward to walk in the "back door" when you're coming from the parking lot. All of the establishments in this strip have the same layout issue. The food, however, at least for me made all the difference. A choice of veggies around a reasonable serving of rice and the meat of your choice, and sauce on the side for dipping. Good Kim Chee and pickled cucumber, and it's not expensive.
