    a creepy looking head

Location: They moved from downtown Markham to Leslie north of Davis drive. It's a nice big house. I think it used to be an Italian restaurant Parking: There's a small lot in the back but I think it shares with another building so it probably fills up fast if there's events happening, but don't worry across little roadway to get in there is a giant parking lot for a dental office that used to be price chopper. Parking a plenty. Free parking Building: It's like an old house, two stories. Go to sign plates out front that shows that it's historical home. So it's actually really nice inside. I initially didn't think they had air conditioning because we were in a room with a large table. That room doesn't have air conditioning but it wasn't as hot as we thought because one of the other rooms has it. It's a historical home there's no central air. The other room with the air conditioning has a ton of tables, four tops that's probably where you're going to sit. I was just with a large group of people. And like I said it wasn't as hot as it would have been because some of that cold air floated. We just didn't realize. If you didn't realize this is a place where you can also play board games. They charge $6.50 an hour if you use their games 5.50 if you don't. Even if you buy food and drinks. Just to warn you we didn't realize we would be charged if we played our own games. But it's no big deal. Because you know now. Food: Daym the food is fantastic. People will not go here to eat because they think it's just a place to play board games. Their mistake. I got a burger and it was one of the best burgers I had. The onion rings were amazing. I go back just to get onion rings. A lot of their menu was very she's heavy so I did not partake because I did not have my lactose pills with me. But everyone else did and it was smiles and yums all around. Definitely going back there for food. No doubt about it. Ooh as an aside, market brewery is across the street. They let you bring food in and this place will deliver for free if you order. So if you're at an event for market brewery 100% get food from here. 100%. Staff: We only really interacted with our waitress and she was very nice kept coming back making sure that everything was okay but did it in Lowe's in the game. We did see the guy who cooked the food afterwards he was so nice and so proud when we said how much we liked the food. I'm glad we were able to tell him he was so happy. Prices were pretty reasonable for the food. Especially since most people that go there play games and are there for hours. They have milkshakes which everyone got by me and they have a liquor license so they have some pretty interesting drinks on the menu as well. Definitely going back.

Easily one of my favourite places to nerd out at. And DEFINITELY my favourite place to nerd out at…read morein the GTA. Legends has extremely competitive pricing (Games Workshop stuff usually 20% off!) and a very nice selection of board games, comic books, cards, minatures, and geeky merch (I definitely picked up a Rainbow Dash mug on my last visit here.) If they don't have something that you have your eye on, you can connect with them to see if they will order it for you (which they likely will, if they can!) Really flexible hours of operation, open late many nights of the week, and there are constantly events occuring here. They have a fairly large, well-lit, and clean gaming space in the back. Customer service here is quite friendly. I'd HIGHLY reccomend checking out Legends if you are in/around the Vaughan area to get your geek on :).

It's like Walmart lol you go in for one thing and leave with 10. There's a pretty good selection of board games, both popular and obscure. If they don't have what you're looking for they'll gladly order it for you and give you a call when it comes in. The guys who work there are all very nice and very knowledgeable. The first time I came, I was still fairly new to tabletop gaming so I wasn't sure what to get. I had my eyes set on Agricola but after talking to the associate I realized I wasn't ready for such a heavy euro game just yet. The associate asked us what we liked and then basically went through their entire collection with us, pointing out and explaining various games that he thought would appeal to us. You don't get customer service like that anymore! All the games are also much cheaper than you would find at Chapters or Mastermind Games. They've also got tons of other nerd stuff like comic books, figurines, and superhero paraphernalia. The store is located in the back of the plaza so it's difficult to find if you don't know where to look.

Great board game store to visit with a date or group of friends…read more Came here in person at rush hour to pick up a game, as I didn't want to pay for shipping online. It's located in Richmond Hill in the business/warehouse district off a windy road called West Beaver Creek. The address is easy to find, lots of free plaza parking, it's next to a kids dance studio and very visible store sign. Nothing sus like another yelper stated. Inside is very spacious, clean and bright. I love how organised the shelving for new games were laid out and they even more games in back. Off the walk in, I was greeted immediately and four employees were excited to help me. They are game experts and could name off suggestions for games quickly, to pair with similar games I had in mind. Super fun to nerd off in the board game world here! I always cross reference with boardgamegeek.com first when planning to new purchases, but asked them in person to see if opinions lined up. I was impressed one employee was quick to suggest ones I never heard of. Prices are good to fair. I felt no pressure to buy anything there, they even offered if I wanted to test ones that they have opened or to get a feel of the pieces(card game quality for kid durability is real). I left with buying three games I had eyed online, and excited for the suggestions for the next visit. They have a free loyalty program, can't hurt to sign up when you're a board game investor, as this is one place to bookmark. No food or cafe noticed here, unlike other board game places. Maybe one day as they are still new.
