They were able to help with any questions or concerns we had leading up to our wedding, and also provided many helpful suggestions for our event, including the layout and menu. Everything turned out wonderfully with their help. The day of staff were also great and very friendly. We had a couple of no shows, but they were nice enough to pack up all the extra food for us to take home. I had quite a packed schedule that day, but they brought us some food/hor d'oeuvres straight to our bridal suite to make sure we got to eat too. Really appreciated this gesture. Food wise, they definitely had a huge selection available. We opted with a standard 3 course dinner with pasta, 2 meats (chicken + beef) and crepe gelato. The food was good overall, except the beef was a little dry but that is to be expected when cooking for a large group. The accommodations for dietary restrictions were also great, we had eggplant parm for the vegetarian meal and I've heard good things about it! Our hor d'oeuvres and late night station (pub crawl) were also really popular; it's been a month but people are still raving about it when they see us! The inside hall itself was beautiful and spacious, allowing for both a ceremony as well as the reception to follow right afterwards. The staff here were just on top of it too in making sure we as guests were taken care of. DO NOT BOOK THIS BANQUET HALL - Horrible Experience from Start to Finish…read more Our experience with this banquet hall was a complete disaster, and I would never recommend it to anyone, especially not for an important event like a wedding. Let's start with the bridal room -- or what they claim is a bridal room. When I asked Jeet to direct me to it, he told a staff member in Hindi to "clean it before taking her." I was then led down to the end of a dirty basement hallway and shown a few tiny, stuffy rooms with no AC and one barely working fan. It was one of the most disgusting spaces I've ever seen -- completely inappropriate for any bride. Next, the decor situation was a mess. We had hired a third-party vendor to decorate, but Jeet failed to remove decorations from a previous event. Our team had to work around their leftover decor, which made setup extremely cramped and chaotic. As guests began arriving, the carpets were still dirty. I had to ask the manager 3-4 times to get someone to vacuum, and by the time they did, it was already too late -- guests were walking in as a worker was vacuuming the floor. Jeet actually told us to keep the guests outside while they finished cleaning. Unbelievable. We were also charged extra -- a few hundred dollars -- for microphone and speaker use because we had organized speeches. However, the sound system didn't work at all. When we notified Jeet, he brushed it off saying they were "working on it" and asked us to wait. Obviously, we couldn't delay the entire event while they took their time trying to fix it. As for the food, we were told we'd receive authentic Afghan food from their partner, Riaz Catering. What we got was anything but Afghan cuisine. The food was bland and disappointing -- most of our guests didn't even eat. Later we realized that another Indian party downstairs had been served the exact same food, falsely labeled as Afghan. On top of that, they just left the food out all night without properly storing or managing it. To make matters worse, the temperature inside the hall kept rising throughout the night. While the AC was working in the beginning, it was clear they were turning it down (or off) to cut costs, making the atmosphere uncomfortable for all our guests. In summary: 0/10. Jeet and the entire management team were completely unprofessional and disorganized. From the venue conditions to the service and food -- everything was below acceptable standards. Do not waste your time, money, or peace of mind booking this hall. You will be disappointed and frustrated, just like we were.

Paramount was especially great since we had an event that took an entire day (from morning at 9 am to basically 1 am the next day). They had the facility to accommodate multiple events at one time and were great at ensuring that all parties that were happening at the same time did not cross over one another. We booked with paramount 1 year prior to our wedding date and throughout that year, I've been to Paramount probably 20 times to ensure that all our needs were met on our wedding day. You get assigned to a very professional day of coordinator that helps guide you throughout your wedding day. Special shout out to Shireen and Mario for being great assistance throughout our wedding process. Their motto is "no one cares more about your event than they do" and that is 100% accurate. I was also made sure I was comfortable as the bride, and was responded promptly whenever I had questions throughout the year. All my other vendors (ie. decorator, officiants) had no issues with Paramount and even praised how professional and welcoming they were. My guest loved the space and I was so happy with how easily transformable the space was! We worked with Romy on our catering side and he was amazing. It was a beautiful and very spacious venue that also hosted the ceremony on their rooftop patio. Following the ceremony, cocktails and hors d'oeuvres were provided by the venue, along with desserts, and late night stations with a whole suckling pig, sliders, fries, and poutine. Everything was delicious! The banquet hall was huge and spacious, with intimate lighting, and an enormous dance floor. The table décor was very classy and beautiful. The house sound system, however, left a lot to be desired. The tonal balance and echoes made the speeches sound muddled. The sound quality improved later on when DJ Jonathan Shaw, aka Juiceman, kept the dance floor packed for the rest of the evening. The main dinner, a ten course Chinese banquet meal, was provided by Grand Catering. As usual, this type of banquet included Roasted Suckling Pig and Jellyfish, Crab Claws, Seafood and Broccoli, Seafood and Fish Maw Soup, Mushrooms with Chinese Greens, Steamed Fish, Fried Chicken with Fried Rice, Noodles, and Lobster. If this was a review on just the venue, I would give it 5 stars. Absolutely gorgeous interior, from the reception rooms to the washrooms to the upper level to the outside shrubbery. They just took his money and let it fly. The pasta dish was the best dish of the night. The pasta was al dente and the sauce was nice and rich. The main course was frankly a disaster. Everything was way overcooked. The chicken breast was extremely dry and sandpaper-like. The salmon had zero moisture in it and the loaded baked potato wasn't very loaded with cheese, bacon or chives (it looked like they had scooped out the potato and just mashed it up further and then rescooped it back into the potato skin). This was quite possibly the worst main course entrée I've ever consumed at a wedding. Dessert was mango sorbet and it was quite nice. The mango flavour was very strong. There was also a waffle bar at the end of the night which was the highlight for me. Fresh waffles with ice cream. Who knew the dessert would be the best? I think if this venue tightens up their food offering they would be excellent, however, as it stands, the food was a letdown in my opinion, salvaged only by the fresh waffles at the end of the night. One bonus that I do think deserves mentioning is that there is very good ventilation running through the mansion. I never felt like I was going to be consumed by heatstroke or sweat.

The interior of the place looks recently renovated, and its beautiful with white and marble decorations everywhere. The other attendees were walking around taking photos of the place. As the name implies, it does have a crystal fountain. It's a little bit underwhelming, but it does make a great centerpiece. We had a buffet style continental breakfast and lunch, and food was served along the edges of the fountain. I read a comment on here about how the chairs were nice enough to not be decorated and I completely agree! Their tables and chairs required very little decoration as it's already really nice. The only thing that was a bit strange was that the main washrooms were upstairs, and they weren't particularly nice either. They do have washrooms on the main floor but they're quite small (two stalls each).
