Count me as a big fan of 808GoExpress - our inbound driver - Chase - called us before we even started to collect out bags and patiently waited while we dealt with a piece of lost luggage. He was well marked just outside the baggage claim. Honolulu traffic was comparatively light for nearly 7 PM on a Saturday and we were comfortably in Waikiki in less than 30 minutes. Comfortable and private ride was great and Chase filled us in on being in Waikiki. The return trip was equally great. We called to let them know we could go early and within 10 minutes we had a call back for an earlier ride. 30 minutes later in light-ish traffic and we were at the airport. Needed a transfer from Honolulu Int'l Airport to our hotel the other day. I'd used a shared van service the last time we came and they were OK, but the latest reviews I'd read made me leery so I decided to search for alternatives. I read through the reviews on Yelp and gave Go808 Express a call the night before we left because so many reviews were highly positive. Spoke to Rodney on the phone who was polite and efficient taking all of our flight details and phone number and assured me our driver would be ready when we were. Unexpected flight delays put us behind by about an hour. We got to the baggage area after landing and my phone rang. On the other end was our driver, Chase who explained that he was aware of the delay and had to make another pickup but assured me he'd be there in time to pick us up after getting our luggage. He promised to keep me posted along the way and was about 20 minutes away. We got our luggage and the phone rang again with Chase saying he was less than 10 minutes out and where to meet him. We walked out to the meeting area and Chase called again saying he was just about to pull into the parking lot to pick us up. Chase arrived and came looking for us. His van was clean inside and out, he was dressed nicely and very polite. He apologized profusely for being a few minutes late and loaded our bags into his van. On the way to the hotel we chatted casually and he gave us some interesting info of the islands. It was a very relaxed and welcome ride after a long flight from the east coast. Overall, great service, fantastic communication, clean well maintained vehicles and a very polite driver. The best parts? No shared ride and $30 for the 3 of us to our resort and no credit card needed to hold the reservation. The night before we were scheduled to arrive home from vacation, we found out my husband would be unable to pick us up at the airport. Using my mobile Yelp app, I found Go808. I read the reviews and thought, "why not give them a try." We called the number listed and spoke to a very nice gentleman who assured us it would be fine to book a last minute pick-up from the airport. Found Go808Express on Yelp as I noticed the good reviews. I called them as well as other shuttles for shuttle service between my home (Waipio Gentry) and the airport. I had 5 adults, 2 children with car seats, luggage, hand-carry bags, and a stroller. I talked to Rodney who was very pleasant and accommodating a week before our departure. Although it appeared Go808 did not normally do service outside of the Waikiki/Airport route, he told me he would accommodate me and my family. Go808 was the first one I called but ended up to be the cheapest and the most accommodating as I needed to take a slight detour to pick up another party in Aiea. No extra charge for that too! I used them for both to/from the airport and was very pleased with their service. We were picked up by a new 15-pax van, who was on-time, with very pleasant, helpful, and safe-driving drivers (Josie & Luke). Although I had offers from relatives to take us to the airport and pick us up, I did not want to inconvenience anyone and also wanted our family to stay together. Since our return time was dependent on the flight arrival, Rodney said he would track our flight so they know when we would arrive. Sure enough, we came in almost an hour later but when I called to tell Go808 of our late arrival, Rodney already knew that and had adjusted our pick up time. I would highly encourage Oahu residents who to use Go808Express Airport Shuttle as they were very reliable, easy to make reservations, convenient, and inexpensive ($50/one-way). I used Go808 Express to get from the airport to the dorm I'd be staying at this summer--decent price, easy to book, and the driver was pretty knowledgeable and gave me a few tips about places to check out in the area. I was also able to get a fairly quick response from them in regards to a price quote, which led me to choose them over some of the other services I found on Yelp. There was a bit of miscommunication, however--I reached out to the company since I couldn't locate my driver and was told he would contact me, which didn't happen. Although I was eventually able to find him, there was a bit of confusion since my reservation was not updated to reflect that it would just be me instead of two people. Based on the rest of the reviews, however, this doesn't seem to be the norm, and I would recommend this company to others without reservation. read more

If I could give six stars, I would. Four of us on vacation during Christmas 2015 took the shuttle from the airport to our hotel and we also used the service back to the airport from our hotel. Used Go808Express Airport Shuttle on my past vacation to Honolulu. I searched yelp for the different shuttles and at first tried one that had plenty of reviews. They became booked and then i turned to Go808Express. I booked them via email 3 days before my date for a one way shuttle to my hotel. My flight was delayed and I called to inform them. When I landed 6 hours later I had a voice mail from Josie who said to call once we landed. She was able to head to the airport 30 minutes or so after we landed. she was very helpful and very friendly. I had a slight hiccup in my plan for the day and she actually dropped us off close to Waikiki and then picked us up again to drop us off at our destination in the New Otani hotel around 8PM. For my family of 10 this company served us extremely well. Prompt pick up at the airport to our hotel. The driver, Chad, was extremely good...he also took us on the 8 hour tour and drove us back to the airport at the end of our vacation. Really enjoyed using this service before and after our cruise from the airport to Waikiki and then from Waikiki to the pier-upon return we did just the opposite with exception of the Waikiki to airport. They made phone calls to confirm the time and pick-up location and if I called to change something, they were accomodating.
