We were fortunate enough to have Luke shuttle us to and from the Hilton Hawaiian Village! Our flight got in early but he monitored our flight and was already at the airport. He gives you his cell in case you need some help. After we picked up our bags he was standing outside with our name on the board. He was so friendly and also gave us some tips on places to go. We booked our return trip the night before and he was early to pick us up and get us to the airport on time. You can't beat this price for a private shuttle. Highly recommended for airport shuttles! Their prices are very reasonable and you're not being treated as just one of the hundreds of tourists coming in every few hours. They were on time when we landed. However were late by quite a bit on our return - however I'd setup a sufficient buffer. I should have probably taken a star off for that but no harm no foul. User beware especially since they clearly tell you that they want you to specify the pickup time for the return to the airport and will not recommend the time. I was surprised initially but anyone with an internet connection can figure out what the pickup time should be. Next time I'm in town, I may consider them for island tours. I know they offer those. I used Go808 Express for roundtrip shuttle service. I reserved with Go808 online 24 hours before arrival in Honolulu. Called customer service to express concern over original pickup. Representative was willing to change the time immediately to account for traffic on the H1. Driver was prompt with our pickup at the airport. On the way back to the airport, the driver called 20 minutes before pickup to let me know that he will be 5-10 minutes late (traffic on the H1 was backed up) . I was really grateful that they were willing to change my original pickup at the hotel. Their vehicles are clean and spacious. We used Go808 Express for our shuttle services for our recent trip to Oahu. Booking was easy over the phone/email and they were able to accommodate our needs with our big party of 16! Upon arrival to the Honolulu airport, we just had to call our driver after we collected all our luggage and he gave us directions to where to meet him as he was already there waiting for us. Ok this review is long overdue. I've been using Go808 Express since I moved to Hawaii almost 3 years ago, based on their excellent reviews on yelp. They provide private shuttle service, which means you're the only passengers they have in their van. Don't have to worry about the shuttle making 5 stops before dropping you off. The drivers are always courteous and on time. I've used them probably over a dozen times, and the only time I had to wait for the pickup was coming from an inter island flight and I wasn't sure where I was supposed to meet them at. They're cheaper than taxis but maybe slightly more expensive than Uber. But the only time I'd use uber is if I am traveling alone and only have a small piece of luggage. read more

When booking our trip to Hawaii, I was stuck between setting up a Lyft/Uber or getting a shuttle. I will make your work easier for you. For a family of 3 with a piece of check in and carry on luggage each, Go808 Express is cheaper. For us, we paid $30 for one ride from HNL to our hotel. If I remember, Lyft/Uber is like $40 for their basic ride. Go808 uses private vans, and they were excellent the first time that we booked them for the ride back to the airport. Vans were clean. The driver was prompt and helped put the luggage in the back of his 10 seater van. He was even early both times and called me to make sure that I was going in the right way! Booking them was so easy too! I just put an inquiry/quote request and they said that if I confirm this in 24 hours, then the reservation is made. I had a problem with my phone trying to get to the same form for the departure ride, but I just emailed them and was able to reserve it like that. They take cash and also offer a prepaid option on their website. I would highly recommend riding with them. read more

Several times over the past two years we arrived in HNL and stayed overnight then departed for the Big Island early the next morning. Not only did they not honor the reservation but weren't going to do anything about it until I told them that I would be following up with a scathing review. Then and only then did the dispatcher try to get us. The ensuing incompetence was astonishing. I came off an international flight and they went to the domestic terminal. DO NOT START your Honolulu trip with Go808 express because it is definitely a NO GO! Four days before my scheduled arrival to Honolulu I called to schedule an airport pickup. I called because I had additional questions and wanted to make sure that I was completely in the know for what to expect. The young lady who helped me over the phone was helpful and took down all my information with the assurance that she would be sending an confirmation and information about the lei service they offer for an additional cost. A couple of days later I still hadn't received an email confirming the shuttle service. I called into the company and spoke with another person (again I don't have their name) and because they were out of the office they took my number and said they would call me once they had arrived - where ever they were going. I waited and still no call. I called again, spoke to someone who didn't have access to their computers (I think they were on a pick up). I was like okay, that's fine. I'll call back. On my fourth call I was able to reach reservation. At this point I'm worried because I'm scheduled to arrive in HI the next day and I didn't want to be left at the airport and forced to figure out what to do once I was there. Once I explained what happened the reservation person he immediately tells me that they don't send out confirmations for phone reservations. That is news to me since no one had told me this previously. But he also said he would help. The person with reservation was helpful (in the beginning) and looked into the system and saw that there was no reservation for me on file. He then proceeds to tell me how much the trip will be using a final location that he chose on his own (because he didn't ask where I was going - making assumption that I was going to a hotel in Waikiki). The price did not match the one I originally given when I first called and made the reservation. Additionally he insisted multiple times that I tip. (I tip for good service, but the fact that he kept insisting that the cost of the trip had to include the tip made it seem as if it wasn't optional. And if that's the case call then it a "service fee" and include it in the quoted price). At this point I'm over it. I told the reservation person, "never you mind" and that I would figure something else out. He begins to speak over me saying if I still want to make a reservation I should go online. I start to ask for his name and then he hangs up. I call back and explain what happened to the person who picks up what just happened. I then say I would like the name of the person who I just spoke with (even though I know it is him I am speaking with). He tells me the reservation is very busy and that there are a lot of people who work in the reservation area and they he can't help me with the name of the person who was rude before. I ask him for his name, which he replies "Luke" and says mahalo. I thank him and hang up. What made me the most mad is when I went on the website and saw these words, "GO808Express provides private transportation services throughout the island of Oahu. Locally owned and operated, GO808Express embodies the true aloha spirit and brings back the word and meaning of "genuine" service. Airport transfer, tour or transportation to any of Oahu's popular sight, we can get you there without worry. Excellent customer service.Can't praise them enough.We didn't have a rental car and were looking for transportation from airport to hotel and vice versa.The process was simple, fill the form through their website and they confirm through email. The price was fair($40) cheaper than uber and no gimmicks.You get a private shuttle.The drivers were friendly. When we landed our flight was delayed and since their vehicles were busy, one of the drivers(JP) picked us in his personal vehicle .He gave many tips about where to eat what to see etc. The trip from hotel to airport was also excellent.It was 6 am ($45),Our driver Rodney was on time( he even texted us the previous night about the timing and pick up location). Recently used Go808 for shuttle service to and from our hotel in Waikiki. The van was there waiting for us at the airport and our driver (I wish I could remember his name...I do remember he is from Hilo) called to say he was there. It took forever for my parents luggage to arrive, but when we were ready to go the shuttle was waiting exactly where they said it would be. For the 3 of us we had a huge passenger bus...a nice private ride into Waikiki. We are former residents of the island, so my dad had a great time chatting with our driver about different things on Oahu and the Big Island. Our driver (I wish I could remember his name!) was so friendly and got us to the hotel. On my trip back to the airport I had the same driver and he again called to let me know he was about 7 minutes out. I was by myself this time and still had the entire van all to myself. We got through traffic, to the airport and dropped off at the airline. I will definitely be using their services again. If you need a shuttle to/from the airport, this is the way to go.
