It's conveniently located on…read moreCenter street in Provo so it's easy to hop in and out pretty quick and its second floor is a good spot to spend time reading or studying if you're looking for somewhere quiet. The staff here is friendly and pleasant to work with if you need something specific and this is a great place to donate books if you need to slim down your library. Surprisingly, my favorite section of the store was the shelves labeled "decorative." Maybe this is a common used book concept but I had never seen it before and found it a very clever way of making use of extra books that realistically would never sell. Every book in the section is two dollars and they are organized by color so that you can grab some quick pick me ups to fill in your personal library. It's a great way to help your personal library look a little nicer if it's a big part of your home decor.

I like perusing in book stores hoping to discover something unexpected, and I always do at B&N. My…read morefavorite area is where they have the children's book; however, because my youngest is already 10 we are spending more time looking at YA lit. I like how B&N is well organized and if you can't find something there's usually a helpful employee around. Why only three stars then? Because, they don't always have the specific book I'm looking for. They offer to order it but I go to a brick and mortar book store to get my book right away. But, that's not all...the women's bathroom was absolutely disgusting. The floors were very wet and dirty. The garbage can was over flowing and there was garbage on the floor. I don't need to go into more details but I was very vigilant to not touch any surfaces. But, wait, there's more. For whatever reason, I happened to look up and the ceiling panels had terrible water stains. A stark contrast to the meat organization of the store. I'm glad we have this great book store in UT County but it needs some major TLC.

Please do not shop at this store…read more I purchased a book online and quickly forgot about it. Weeks later I got an email saying that the address I put in was wrong and they would not be refunding me. I asked what the book was, and it took them eight (angry) emails before they responded. They CRITICIZED the book I purchased twice and INSULTED the authors. I had paid for the book ($10) as well as shipping the first time. The owner was angry with me and said he would only send me the book if I paid for shipping again a second time (which was less than $7). I sent him $20 and my corrected address. He refunded me $10 and sent me an invoice for the shipping of the book to the correct address. When the book finally arrived, he had WRITTEN in the book (a limited copy) and AGAIN criticized the book and the authors. The owner was very UNPROFESSIONAL throughout our entire interaction. Please do yourself a favor and purchase your books somewhere else.

The workers there are the best I've seen in a book store. They are all very knowledgeable about the store, its literature, and history of the items they have in store. The first time I visited I chose a passage from one of their Bibles that you can have framed on the spot; I also met Mr. Moon! I cherish this Bible page, and have it mounted in my office. If you're looking to buy reprints of your favorite books or looking to read something new, they have them available at reasonable prices. If you're looking for something older, maybe even a first edition, they most likely have it too. I couldn't recommend this bookstore more, and I hope to return again in the future!

I brought the two cheap ones back to Boomerang Books, (a new guy was at the register) he offered me 30 for the two of them. Something doesn't add up with Boomerang Books, I think they're kind of crooked. Moral of the story: go somewhere else, bring your leftovers if you must here.

My brother needed to play a round of Star Wars Imperial Assault for a school class, and I had been wanting to try it out, so I came down and played it with him and a few other people. We went downstairs and had a nice big table and chairs available to us. It was nice to have space to play where it was nice and quiet and we could all easily hear each other. You can bring your own games to play or also borrow a game from their game library to play. It's a good idea and obviously brings in potential customers. After playing the game I felt like I should probably buy something to support the store that had let us use their room for 2 hours. I ended up picking up a Spider-man dice master set as well as some boosters. Prices on these items were good, slightly above Amazon. Buying small items is never an issue and usually worth the price. The issue at small local stores like these is the price on larger items. Star Wars Imperial Assault was $99 + tax here. I can get it on Amazon for $60. I know, I know, we need to support local businesses and all that, but for a $40 price difference I have to go to Amazon on things like this. I'll buy the expansions from my local shop.
