This is a great toy store. Toys of all kinds, not the Walmart or Target chain toys, but great toys…read morethat actually engage children, and I'm not talking about just educational toys, either. So much variety and toys that you wish you had a bottomless wallet to take them all home. Even the "cheapo" niknaks are so cool! And you want games? Tons of such interesting games. Again, would love to buy all of them and then somehow find time to play them all. Figurines, die cast cars, outdoor toys, collectables, of course Lego sets, etc. etc. etc. Such great inventory. Stuff you can't find anywhere else. They have a frequent buyers program, too, to earn points and discounts. They do kid workshops. I recently took my granddaughter to make a Lego race car and she got to keep the car. They do free gift wrapping. If you want even more fancier wrapping paper, there is a nominal charge, but I've always found that their free gift wrap is absolutely fine. Been there several times, but each time I always end up spending a long time looking at stuff and finding things I never saw before. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about their inventory and can come up with suggestions if you are looking for something in particular. Great for adults and kids! 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

Also the deals were so much better than other local toy stores. They had huge inventory, great prices, it was clean and organized.

Review for Pop City, Utah…read more I've been a loyal Pop City customer for years, both buying and trading Funko Pops under the previous ownership. Since the business was sold, however, my experiences have been consistently frustrating and disappointing under the new ownership team -- particularly with Skyler, who appears to control all major decisions. Communication Issues: * It is nearly impossible to do business without going directly through Skyler, yet he is only in the store one day a week and is slow to respond online. * I have often been told one thing by staff or other owners (that they are interested in certain items) only to have Skyler later respond with "no longer interested," even on items the store later purchased from someone else. Inconsistent & Selective Business Practices: * I brought in a full set of The Office Funko Pops, complete with verified HobbyDB values, offering to sell or trade at a fair percentage. I was told they had "no interest," only to see them buy the exact same set from another customer weeks later. * I have significant store credit from past transactions, but they have repeatedly refused to let me use it on certain in-stock items (such as Pokémon singles), even though those items are sold in-store under the Pop City name. * The offers made on items I've brought in have been far lower than expected based on past Pop City practices. Recent Incident: * After being told they were buying Funko Mystery Minis, I prepared and bagged a large collection, complete with researched values, and brought them to the store. Staff even sent photos to ownership, but I was told again to "message Skyler." * Skyler's eventual reply was abrupt and dismissive -- "not interested" and a firm refusal to consider store credit toward Pokémon cards. The interaction felt unnecessarily hostile given I have never had a negative exchange with him. Why This Matters: Under the previous owner, Pop City had a reputation for fair trade values, consistent practices, and friendly service. The new management has shifted to selective, opaque, and, in my opinion, greedy business practices. Customers deserve clear communication, consistent policies, and the ability to use store credit on in-stock merchandise. Additionally, I believe their selective refusal to honor store credit on certain items raises potential legal concerns and is something that should be looked into by others to ensure compliance with fair business practices. Bottom Line: If you've done business with Pop City in the past, be aware -- this is not the same store it used to be. Based on my experiences, I cannot recommend doing business here under the current management.

All of the employees engage in conversation and I love that they have the sticker pillar that we can add to each time we go in. My kids love it there too and there's such a large selection of pops and other collectibles at fair prices. This is for sure my first pick of places to get new pops and toys. 1000000/10 recommend!

Everything you'd want in a game/comic store. Plenty of selection, helpful staff (more on that…read morelater), snacks, places to play different games, sensible layout, and a bathroom :) What stands out most however is the staff. So many other stores the staff can be condescending and/or ignore you. They're helpful without being overbearing. I've brought my kids (ages 10 to 4) and without exception the staff has always been kind to them and even occasionally given them free comics and things. On the not as positive, it's a bit dark, but I've never been to a comic or game store that was brightly illuminated, and I'm sure for some that's a positive. It's not so dark that you can't see the products, I just wouldn't mind it a bit brighter. The location is on state and the street is kind of busy, but I've always been able to park in front, I'm not sure what they do when they have events. They do daily events like Magic, Star Wars RPG, mini painting, etc. It's MY game store, and I couldn't be happier.

WARNING: If you are buying bulk One Piece TCG singles or have any value for customer support, stay…read morefar away from Dragon's Keep! Our most recent visit was to the Spanish Fork Dragons Keep location (and will be our last) to purchase cards for some One Piece TCG decks we were building. We found a whitebox of rares and don cards for OP-16. At checkout, the cashier (who happened to be the store owner for Dragons Keep, Leeder Francis) said that each rare was $0.50 then my wife asked if each Don!! card was also $0.50 as she looked at the TCGplayer market price which was $0.30 and we did not see any in store listing price. Leeder responded with: Yes, they are $0.50 which this bulk price saves you money. My wife proceed with the transaction and we left. I was curious how much we were saving so on the drive home (we live about 20 minutes away) I decided to get on TCGplayer to check that claim. The TCGplayer market price would have been $10 cheaper total and on average, rare cards were worth $0.20 (I honestly wouldn't have cared about the price difference but Leeder mentioning that we saved money I now wondered how). I decided to call the store about this discrepancy, after explaining the situation to the employee that answered, I was handed to Leeder. I patiently tried to explain our experience buying singles at their multiple locations which has included both bulk price per card and using TCGplayer market price. Leeder explained that their store policy was to charge $1.00 per rare (rip off by the way) for One Piece TCG so him charging $0.50 per rare (still a terrible deal) was us "saving money". This explained our misunderstanding, and would have been sufficient for our questions, and we would have moved on. However, he then continued to state our previous experiences at Dragons Keep where we were charged TCGplayer market price instead of a bulk price per card was a lie and that we were liars. A little taken back, I tried patiently to tell him we've had employees at their stores in the past sell us commons, uncommons and, rares based on TCGplayer market price. After some time of Leeder's unprofessional and rude behavior, he told us we could return the cards for a refund then "get the f*ck out of his Dragon's Keep". I'm still somewhat bewildered that the store owner would behave like this to a customer over a reasonable misunderstanding. There must be some miscommunication between stores/employees on charging for One Piece TCG singles. Note the entire phone call lasted only 6 minutes, the portion I talked to Leeder was probably 4 minutes, very short temper, cannot work with customers. As a result of this conversation, I'm leaving a 1 star review and will never go back to any Dragons Keep for any reason. Initially I was going to leave a three star review due to their pricing with regards to One Piece TCG singles being inconsistent across stores and even individual employees (with respect to commons, uncommons and less expensive rares). Some employees will scan each individual card and go off the TCGplayer market price while others charge a bulk price per card which is confusing and frustrating as the customer since going at different times or locations can result in a significant variation in total cost. I think the employees are great and kind, even though I don't think they are following what Leeder expects, and the tournaments/events we've been to also have been great (granted we haven't tried other locations because we were very happy with Dragons Keep, but we will now) with an awesome community. To those getting into One Piece TCG both to collect/display cards as well as to play the game, buy off TCGplayer. It might be a little intimidating as a first purchase but if you buy enough from the same seller you avoid paying shipping, you will save a decent bit of money over Dragon's Keep, and you will save time instead of hunting through unorganized boxes/binders. I would normally like to and encourage others to support their local stores but, business owners like Leeder don't deserve your money or support.
