Fried fish was perfection. The place was really cute and the staff was super nice. I've driven past this place several times on the way to ocean city and always said I wanted to go one day. I finally went this weekend and it did not disappoint. I'll definitely be back! read more

If you have not tried Go Brit! you are missing the absolute best British food around! The service is incredible too!

The food quality and quantity was great! The staff is friendly and welcoming. I had the Caesar salad as my side and it was excellent. We will come here again and recommend it anyone who loves fish and chips!! read more

great big piece of fish ton of chips (fries) wife had jumbo shrimp (6) and fries, mushy peas and toffee desert (warm and sweet ) service was friendly and personable .will definitely go there and stay out of downtown Rehoboth (go fish ) not worth the parking or traffic issues . read more

Fish and chips are very good - fresh tasting fish, and a crispy batter that's not greasy and stays attached to the fish (which means it's NOT some frozen premade stuff). Mushy peas were good, but not very flavorful. Excellent chips, and a good curry sauce. Although I was pleased to see Strongbow cider on the menu, when it was delivered (with bottle already open), I was disappointed to find it was the "golden apple" version, which is much sweeter. Had I known, I would have made a different choice. I also felt there were some cleanliness issues. The floor was sticky, and although tables were clean, they two were sticky. It seemed as if the place needs a good deep clean. read more

I almost never give 5 stars after one visit, but after visiting GO on a likely one time family trip to the area, I just couldn't find anything bad to say. All the food was great, the service good, and the pricing was reasonable for a touristy area in nice weather! read more

I really enjoy the fish and chips here. I love the side of curry sauce also! My family comes to Delaware most summers and this is a spot we like to hit every time. It is a very casual spot. The table service is helpful and attentive also. Yummy! read more

Marvelous food. Outstanding service. The guys are funny! And the Maryland Crab Soup is some of the best I've had. Great fish & chips too! Stop walking the boardwalk trying to decide where to eat and get in here! read more

Cute little fish and chips place. It kind of feels like fast food, but the waitress sat us and came to our table to take our order and deliver our food, which I didn't expect when we first walked in. The staff was very friendly. I got the organic field green salad with a piece of battered fish, and the waitress put it in as a battered fish with ceasar salad but substituted the salads so that it would be cheaper for me. The fish itself was really good! The batter was flavorful and wasn't too heavy and the fish was moist without being overly oily. The decor is fun too! The only bad thing that I have to say is that the booth seat had crumbs all over when we sat down :/ other than that though, we will likely return next time we are here! read more

Good food and excellent service. Had the fish and chips and my wife had the battered shrimp and chips. Both were excellent. Batter for both was crispy and not too oily. Portions were generous. Service was very good. Will visit again and recommend. read more

We were visiting the beaches and wanted to eat deep fried fish. We had gotten take out from that food truck in the gas station parking lot but that was overpriced and not very good. We were a group of 5 and they don't really have tables for more than 4. The shepherds pie and fish pie was meh but the fried fish was a chef's kiss of crispy crust and flaking fish!!! Would totally be a regular if I lived there! read more

Tyler is a hard worker. This place is great. Fish was fresh and delicious. We truly enjoyed our meal. The tarter sauce wasn't anything like the kind in England tho. It had weird stuff in it. None the less, this place is super fresh and tasty. Smart of them to have a billboard. That's what got us yo come. read more

I ate here with my mother and in a roundabout way, everything here turned out nicely! We both ordered simply entrees, I the fish and chips, and she got a chicken sandwich (which also came with chips). The price is incredibly reasonable along with the portion. Big fish and big sandwich! I asked what fish they use and the server (cute, friendly, and knowledgeable server by the way) quickly responded with, Alaskan Pollock. Good fish. Meaty, flaky, and works real well for fish and chips. The batter and chips were a bit on the salty side, but I liked it regardless. The chicken looked good too. I especially liked that it was plated in the authentic British way, on a newspaper! That adds bonus points to an already good review. I would like to come back here and try another entree! read more

My husband and I were surprised to find this nearly authentic gem of a British Fish and Chip Shop. My husband ordered The King Henry lll Platter, Fried Oysters, and Clam Strips. My husband enjoyed the crab cake (on the King Henry lll Platter) so much that he moaned and groaned through every bite. I ordered Fish and Chips and a soft Shell Crab. Everything was excellent with the exception of the soft shell crab having the mustard or rather in technical terms the fecal matter not removed prior to batter frying and a portion of the crab shell being slightly hardened as if the crab was in the stage of the shell maturing into its hardened exterior (past the two week soft shell stage). My mother was a skilled expert at cleaning and frying Soft Shell crabs many years ago. The soft shell crabs eyes, and intestinal matter is swiftly removed and battered in a movement so fast, the crab is still moving while being battered. I would have given this restaurants food a 5 star review had it not been for the presentation of the soft shell crab. The next time we went to Go Brit for lunch the Fish and Chips were heavily salted and soggy. The food just was not consistent with quality. This last visit was so disappointing. We haven't been back for some time since the salty soggy Fish and Chips incident. Our last visit takes our review down to 2 stars. Just not consistent at all. The first time we ate at this restaurant the proprietor served us herself. Could the problem be the proprietor can't be at both locations at the same time? What's the old saying? "If you want something done right you have to do it yourself?" read more

What a fun place to find; we we're looking for fish and chips and ended up here by accident. Of course get the fish. Also good choices are clams, Caesar Salad, and chicken nuggets (tenders) for the kids. Decaf was strong like European coffee. Loved the decor plates and they sat 10 of us no problem. Fast service. read more

THE BEST fish and chips at the beach. Always freshly fried, light, crispy, and delicious, and nicely portioned. I also really like their tartar sauce because it isn't sweet, just tangy. My daughter declared the Caesar salad "the most delicious" one she had at the beach (she loves Caesar salad and had one every day during the 5 days we were there). The Mini Cooper inside the restaurant is super fun and cool. My daughter loved looking at it. Service is always fast and friendly here. This is a must go to place for lunch if you're at the beach. It's close to the outlets and a good way to decompress after shopping. The key lime pie and sticky toffee pudding were also fabulous. If you like the British "mushy peas", they do a great version here. read more

beer battered fish ( 2 pieces) sandwich and served with slaw for $6.00 ( 11 a.m. to 4 pm. ) , with lemon wedge and tartar , on "Friday Fish special" either at the Rehoboth or Lewes location. Normally the fish sandwich would be $10.95 ! The flaky cod fish was cooked perfect which was crispy and golden . Chips are a la carte $4.95! The portion was so large that I didn't miss the chips! I removed the bread. You don't have to eat in to get the special. They do offer beer and wine if you want to eat in. Great Chippy! read more

We stopped here for lunch while outlet shopping. I've wanted to eat here for 6 years but had no idea it was a fast food place. Not what I had in mind but it was pretty good. The portions are huge and the fish and chips were decent, the coleslaw was good too. You order at the counter and they bring it out to you. read more

Wow, great place for fish and chips. You get one long fish and a BUNCH of chips. The fish was flakey and the fried part was so crispy. However, I was eating it with a fork and knife and the fish kept falling out of the skin. Almost like I had to eat it separately. My boyfriend decided to just eat it together to keep the fish and skin intact. The chips, on the other hand, were soft and not crispy. :( read more

Went here for lunch with my husband. I was really craving some fresh fish with malt vinegar. The food arrived quickly the dining room was clean but the food was awful. Food was delicious and service was great at the window counter. Love their fish and chips. Reasonable price.

Been eating here for a decade. Not fancy but 1,000% English from the fish&chips to mushy peas. The Shepherd's pie (which is actually cottage pie since it's made with beef, not lamb or mutton) is excellent. So is the service! read more

I've been to the UK 5 times in the past 3 years, and sampled all kinds of fish and chips. This vaguely resembles British-style fish and chips. Go Brit serves pollock and only pollock because it is more sustainable. In the UK, you can find cod, haddock and plaice in most chip shops. (And doner kebabs!) I can tell from the texture of the fish that it's frozen and not fresh. The fish is too wet and almost mushy in the finished product. The batter is spot on - crispy and has a traditional flavor that I know of British fish & chips. The "chips" are not cut thick enough and they are fried to a deep golden brown. They are delicious, but they are not British-style which are lightly golden and chunkier. To me, the British style chips pair better with malt vinegar. The flaked salt is a nice touch. Of course, there is malt vinegar on the table. The menu has a lot of British-type offerings like batter-fried sausages and shepherd-style meat or fish pies (mash on top; not the wheat crust pastry style meat or fish pies). The menu really does take some creative liberties to appeal to American palates. Personally, I came for the fish. Since I found it disappointing, it is unlikely that will visit Go Brit in the future. P.S. - offer some bread & butter so patrons can make a chip butty! read more

Always love our food from here! Parents get the shepherds pie and bangers and mash, I always get fish and chips because it's so dang good!

So good, I frequently dine here and especially enjoy the fish, shrimp and the Caesar salad. There are many unique dishes here as well.

Go Brit! has the best fish and chips I've ever had. This location was across the street from our hotel. We came to get away from the city. The establishment is very clean and the customer service was great. We ordered the fish and chips and dined in. When you enter the establishment, you pay for your meal first and then take a seat to have your meal delivered to your table. The tables are very clean and condiments are full. The food came out piping hot! I love when food is cooked when ordered. The fish serving is HUGE and filling. I would definitely recommend! read more

The food was phenomenal! The service was extremely fast, but that might be because it's empty when I posted this.
