The ample…read morelighting and tasteful paintings (including one of oysters in black and white) provided an appropriate backdrop to a delicious meal. The menus were bound in leather! I'd never seen that before. The Caesar salad appetizer was delicately doused in a dressing and covered with a delicate Parmesan cheese. The dried ham belly bits provided ample flavor to the dish, though they ran on the slightly salty side. The special club sandwich was top notch with nice pieces of chicken, not dry, ensconced in fresh bread. The ricotta gnudi was essentially a ricotta mixed with pasta dough to create a gnocchi. The texture was really neat and they were nicely browned. The carrot sauce provided excellent flavoring to the dish, and the carrots were nicely cooked. The sesame tuile was really cool, though I wasn't sure how it related to the rest of the dish. The arctic char, placed in a broth, was also excellent, though not without (imo) defects. The char was cooked beautifully, crispy skin on one side and good fish texture underneath. The potatoes tasted nice with the broth, perhaps actually too plentiful. The big issue I had was the bok choy, which was charred in most leafly places. I know that that's how restaurants do the veggies these days, but charred veggies doesn't taste good, and they're not good for you. Also, it meant that the veggies were charred on the exterior, but marginally cooked (i.e. soft) in the interior. It also caused the broth to contain something of a burnt flavor. I might wish that the menu contained more than 6 mains. A few more items would have been nice to choose from, but I do understand also the desire to focus on a limited number of dishes. A must-check out place!

This is an update to a previous brunch review that had some issues. The manager kindly reached…read moreout and provided a $100 gift card to entice us to give them another try. This time was a dinner for three. We started with a dozen oysters on the half shell that were fresh and delicious. Appreciated that we were notified that they have Happy Hour Tues-Fri 3pm-5pm with 1/2 price oysters. Also had the Fried Smelts which were tasty. Two of us had Craft burgers. This time they did arrive as ordered (last time med rare arrived well done) but they mixed the orders. One was med rare and the other rare. Not nice having to change burgers after each taking a bite. Despite the mix up the juicy burgers and fries were excellent. The other order was the Braised Beef Cheek Birria Grilled Cheese. This was very good but a touch pricey at $28 for what you get. Speaking of price, the craft burger is $24. I asked for a side of mayo for the fries and it arrived promptly. They charged $2 for the mayo which was not mentioned. Considering that our total bill ran $250 it seemed out of place to charge for mayo. One of the best reasons to come to Craft Farmacy is to try craft beers which they rotate regularly. We each enjoyed a beer or two. For desert we ordered their Chai Crème Brûlée and Crack Pie with gelato. Both are highly recommended. We also had glass of sherry that unfortunately was off and had to be sent back. Replaced with a glass of Port. When the bill arrived the sherry was not removed, they did take it out when we caught the mistake. Our meal was much better than the last visit. All of the food was well prepared this time but the little mistakes on burger mixup and sherry on the bill were disappointing. Still if looking for a good burger and a great beer you can do a lot worse than Craft Farmacy.

This has just opened in last 10 days after a long conversion from a Boston Pizza location ,…read more bar service is less than 1 week old as licence took time , so good cocktails and beer selections and Wine list . Although the beer deal $5 pints seem to be tied to a burger deal ? Maybe it's the staff understanding of the menu The Reno in side is excellent ! Clean modern bright , My wife enjoyed the naked wings ( yes with all the sauces and rubs she wants plain ) I ordered , with a very capable waitress , friendly and honest young lady , I ordered the classic burger and did the French onion soup as side All arrived via a server . The wings were good w dip and celery sticks My burger was good , thick juicy patty and Hot ! All dishes were piping hot food . My soup ? Well it needs work It looked fine with melted cheese in the crockpot bowl but the broth was suspect ? It was pale white or clear with lots of onion bits but bland , onion soup I usually find is a deep brown beef broth I think and maybe enhanced with a splash of red wine or boozed . And again it was HOT , burnt by mouth inside , dumb me eh . We tried the desert menu Carrot Cake . We can judge a good restaurant by the kitchens interpretation of a classic carrot cake . This was $10 It arrived as a thin wedge of a piece about 2 inches thick , dressed with Carmel and chocolate syrups This is not carrot cake but billed as classic and more on the menu . It was tasty but not as menu would like you to think Frankly the whole menu is likely Ai generated with surpurplus descriptions We will clearly return in a month after the many managers calm down and let the waitress do their thing as we saw and heard lots of directions given Another little thing is the waitress' have iPads attached to them , kinda clumsy thing in a tight tabled area But it's their pos program that can be viewed by managers I think
