    Undercooked chicken liver parfait

This place just robs your money with bad service, mediocre and small portion food. I had terrible experience with dinner takeout recently. We ordered four appetizers and a beef cheek as main dish to share and trust them in placing the order. They charged us near $100, so we didn't notice they were missing out main dish until we came back (some distances away). When I opened up the four appetizers, they were really small portion which was only filling for birds. We had to order something else from another restaurant nearby in the end. As a reference, most of us in the group are small eaters. Now it came to the food quality. Chicken liver brulee was undercooked. The squash dish was so flavourless. Tuna aburi was not fresh and no flavour again. The only okay dish was the charcuterie board. The chef seems to miss the most basic cooking fundamentals and waitress here is not paying attention to order at all. I don't recommend this place to any of you.

This is the best restaurant in London. Innovative, creative, fun. 100 times better than the crappy place in the museum that pretends to be fine dining. Please support this business and try everything. Incredible.

Food was AMAZING. Would definitely go here again for the food. Had a wedge salad and split a grilled cheese with a friend, both were absolutely delicious. Servers were very attentive. Only gave 4 stars because I thought the alcoholic drinks lacked in flavour. Will be back again, just would not order any beverages. Save all the room for delicious food.

A star for service, plating & craft cocktails, and ambiance. I was greeted with a friendly face and seated where I desired. Attentive, though I was busy furrowed in work on my laptop. The food plating and fusion food ideas were out of this world. Along with the ambiance that I enjoyed thoroughly. The disappointment lies in the lack of freshness in the food that I was served. The corn tortilla for my single chicken skin taco was tough, stale, and unenjoyable to bite into. My Korean fried chicken was hard as rocks. My bread for my chicken liver was hard and tough as if it were stale. I'd go back for the drinks, not for the food.

Visiting London and searching for best oyster in town. Found this gem. The restaurant was full and very small. We were seated in the bar. The staffs are very nice and friendly, they explained every detail in the menu. They serve small plate tapas style menu which is shareable. The Oysters Rockefeller is a must, a selection of their raw oysters, with bacon, cheese and local craft beer.

This was a true 5 star experience. My wife and I selected Hunter & Co based on other reviews as well as some of the unique twists they seemed to have to their menu. We were impressed through and through. The drink menu was short and simple but all three drinks we ordered were fantastic. Our food tastings started with a dozen oysters, which we decided to sample all 6 varieties they had on offer. The oysters were well shucked, and nicely presented. We stuck to the cucumber mignonette and the pineapple habanero sauces for toppings, which were fresh and a great pairing. Next up was the Duck Dumplings. These were very well done, as were the heirloom carrot accompaniments. The black vinegar drizzle set it all off very nicely. Our third plate was the Hunter & Co Fried Chicken. The chicken was perfectly cooked, with a wonderful crunch. The honey bourbon sauce drizzled on top was delicious, but I think the star of the plate were the pickled veggies. Our fourth plate was (as advertised by our lovely waitress Olivia?) the highlight of the night. The Chicken Liver Brûlée. My god was this unreal. So full of flavour, and the unique addition of the brûlée to this dish was genius. Don't skip out on this dish, it will knock your socks off, trust me. We were still up for one last dish, and decided to go with the burrata. The cheese to bread ratio was fantastic, and the pesto was very fresh. The star of this dish was the house made bread though, it was something else. All in all it was a pricey meal for the two of us, but I can honestly say it was the best meal through and through I've had in a long time, maybe ever.

Small space, few seats. I recommend a reservation. Seating options are tables and banquettes. The whole resto is wheelchair accessible. The layout in order of walking in is tables, bar, kitchen, then bathrooms. Décor is what you'd expect: heads on the wall of every colour and material. High ceilings. Innovative cocktails in the $11-14 range. The Rhuby Tuesday was fine, but I wouldn't order it again. Specialty cocktails made upon request. Modest number of wines by the glass. Similarly small food menu. Oysters are priced by the piece. Although the dishes are advertised as small plates, they are of generous proportions. Bacon-wrapped bacon was a hit, as was the cashew shrimp and roast bone marrow. The burger was less well received. Service was fine. Jason worked to meet my dietary requirements. Tuesdays they have date night. It's an app, a dish and a drink each. Looking to try that soon. A nice night out for grown-ups. Sophisticated but not stuffy. London needs this kind of resto.

This restaurant just opened its doors November 2017. I LOVED the feel and atmosphere of this place. It is a great place for a cocktail and tapas plates. The servers were so friendly and explained the menu with much detail. This is a place I would go with a friend, on a date, or a special outing to enjoy and socialize. Although it is a small location, it has a very swanky and cool vibe. If you are ever going to an event at the Budweiser Gardens or wanting to go downtown for something new, GOOD, and different. Try This place! I am looking forward to bringing more friends here.

I was so excited that yet another joint was popping up just a short distance from my house. A proper bar any millennial would adore. From Instagram worthy drinks to the dark, vibey decor, this is a REALLY cool spot. We only went in for drinks but the food menu made my mouth water. My boyfriend got the 'Where There's Smoke, There's Fire' which came in a smoke filled bell jar. I've seen this done before so I wasn't blown away by any means, but it is pretty cool, specially if you're doin it for the 'gram. I got the Reign in Blood which was SUPER cool and creative. This blood-red drink arrived in this beautiful chalice-like glass and the salt rim down the side looked like fangs. I felt like a true vampire and I drank that sh** up. Our drinks were great! So what gives? It all came down to service. I'm not sure if our waiter was having a rough go of it or what, but he was Kurt. No...sorry, his name wasn't Kurt...he WAS curt. We tried to joke with him but nothing was landing. He was swift to pull the menu from my hands as we finished ordering. Something about the whole experience was just...off. What could have been a great night out was sadly tainted. Regardless of this experience, I really do encourage you to make a visit to Company Bar. Please, enjoy the delicious libations that await you there. I will definitely be giving this spot another chance...and hopefully Kurt will be more than happy to take our order. :)

We ordered beet salad, artichoke dip, crab cakes, Kang's fiery pork and Smokey BBQ lime chicken. All of the dishes were categorized as appetizers but they were main dish sizes! It's hard to imagine with $30+ per person, you can enjoy a fancy meal with attentive service these days. Unlike many other restaurants in GTA, this place doesn't charge you money for bread and the quality is so good. I really like the soft butter with good scent. The beet salad with goat was quite refreshing. The artichoke dip was flavourful too. The pork is tender and flavourful (spicy). Strongly recommend these three dishes. I didn't like the crab cake which doesn't have much crab flavour and the texture of which is weird too. The chicken is dry too. The server was offering to replace our chicken dish with something else when he heard the dish was so-so (although we didn't ask him to switch it). We were so satisfied with the environment and service here that we wanted to revisit during the rest of our trip if they were opening on those days. It'll definitely be my number one dinner choice when I'm revisiting London.
