A really nice pleasantly decorated restaurant with quality dishes and superior service. The ample lighting and tasteful paintings (including one of oysters in black and white) provided an appropriate backdrop to a delicious meal. The menus were bound in leather! I'd never seen that before. The Caesar salad appetizer was delicately doused in a dressing and covered with a delicate Parmesan cheese. The dried ham belly bits provided ample flavor to the dish, though they ran on the slightly salty side. The special club sandwich was top notch with nice pieces of chicken, not dry, ensconced in fresh bread. The ricotta gnudi was essentially a ricotta mixed with pasta dough to create a gnocchi. The texture was really neat and they were nicely browned. The carrot sauce provided excellent flavoring to the dish, and the carrots were nicely cooked. The sesame tuile was really cool, though I wasn't sure how it related to the rest of the dish. The arctic char, placed in a broth, was also excellent, though not without (imo) defects. The char was cooked beautifully, crispy skin on one side and good fish texture underneath. The potatoes tasted nice with the broth, perhaps actually too plentiful. The big issue I had was the bok choy, which was charred in most leafly places. I know that that's how restaurants do the veggies these days, but charred veggies doesn't taste good, and they're not good for you. Also, it meant that the veggies were charred on the exterior, but marginally cooked (i.e. soft) in the interior. It also caused the broth to contain something of a burnt flavor. I might wish that the menu contained more than 6 mains. A few more items would have been nice to choose from, but I do understand also the desire to focus on a limited number of dishes. Feb 2923 pm visit to this cosy bar and restaurant. We were warmly greeted and seated (2) . I had a great boring Caesar , that omitted the onion rings,bean,pickle, etc , it was refreshing and tart as expected Fish and chips were huge fish and thin but lots of potato Frits I had the days special burger : local beef, lots of crisp bacon and jalapeño mayo Relish! With those Frits and ketchup Water and wine was refreshed It's a friendly busy local spot . Loud with the open bar and many interactive patrons and guests waiting for the nxt available table . Fantastic setting, great ambience. Cocktails were super tasty, very well made. One of us had a Mexican themed pork belly dish which was fantastic - very well cooked, great flavors and textures. The other had the special spaghetti bolognese was incredible. One of the wines by the glass we ordered was clearly from a bottle that had been open for too long. When we pointed that out to the waitress she simply said sorry about that I'll get you a new one, with no hesitation and complete understanding. The new glass was much better. Overall a great experience and dinner, will go back whenever we can and highly recommend ! read more

Our favourite place to go in Port Stanley! We are from St Thomas and love to make the drive to Port Stanley to enjoy dinner or lunch at Two Forks. Today we had a delicious root salad and brisket Tostados along with a couple of cocktails and flights of wine. Main course was the beef cheeks and roasted pickerel. Everything was delicious. The new decor looks fabulous. The music is perfect. The team is attentive and they work as a team to ensure you have everything you need. Highly recommend you visit!! This place is a welcome addition to the Port Stanley dining scene - will definitely be returning in the future. We biked to Port Stanley and got some lunch - fish & chips, sausage hoagie sandwich with a side of roasted brussel sprouts, cocktails, and a deep-fried butter tart with blueberry sauce for dessert. The food is absolutely delicious - tasty, well-seasoned AND well-flavoured. Of note is that they grow their own herbs (you can see their herb garden from the patio). The outstanding character for me was definitely the roasted brussel sprouts - it was perfectly crispy, and combined with the pancetta + Parmesan cheese + Caesar dressing, it might just have to be my main next time instead of just a side. I was originally skeptical of the deep-fried butter tart as traditionally I am not a fan of things that are deep-fried and sweet. However, this was done very well - not too oily, and also not too sweet. The home-made blueberry sauce was simply the cherry on top - tart, chockfull of blueberry flavour, and surprisingly complementary with the butter tart. The only thing that could be improved would be their cocktails - at this price point ($12+ per drink), I would expect more carefully curated cocktails. Unfortunately, Two Forks falls quite flat here as their cocktails taste more like high school party drinks, which would be fine if they were more in the $5-8 price range. I had a phenomenal time at this restaurant. My boyfriend and I were visiting from out of town and came across this place and the food was so hearty and delicious. I've read the previous reviews And I'm surprised. I did not share their experiences we had recently. 1 out 4 meals was good. The waitress worked the the line of pleasant and insulting. A request for a cooler was met with a dismissive attitude and a suggestion she the bar could prepare something with her assisting to "elevate" the choice of a cooler. The hamburger was requested without the onion toppings and requested mustard. You apparently don't carry the low level mustards. Hamburger and fries seasoning with salt was as though the shaker had dump all over the meat and fries. My cracked chicken was very disappointing. I don't pass judgement on meals which would have been uncomfortable for our guest and screwed up our dinner. Far easier for me not to come back. Very disappointed. read more

Pretty good service however the server did not ask why I didn't eat half of my meal...most of the food I have had there is great but last time it was very very salty. Could not eat anymore of it... I would give it another try and has great beer and prices are not bad at all read more

Two Forks is new but it`s in the former location of Me and Suzie`s on Bridge Street right across from the theatre and Library. We were party of six and ordered a pretty good variety of entree`s from their menu along with craft beer and glasses of wine. Everything was excellent, the service very good and the Saturday evening ambiance nice. (not loud) I was particularly impressed by the turkey pot pie ($11) which was in a delicious mushroom and herb sauce covered with a puff pastry. Highly recommended. We couldn`t get their deep fried devilled eggs as they were all out but I`m going back to try them soon. read more

This place is great. We came for lunch and everything sounded tasty. We chose a couple of apps and a main dish. The Bacon wrapped Bacon was as tasty as you would guess. The Bruschetta was among the best I've tasted and the Peanut Butter Banana and Bacon sandwich was ridiculous (wow). I'll read more
