We ordered beet salad, artichoke dip, crab cakes, Kang's fiery pork and Smokey BBQ lime chicken. All of the dishes were categorized as appetizers but they were main dish sizes! It's hard to imagine with $30+ per person, you can enjoy a fancy meal with attentive service these days. Unlike many other restaurants in GTA, this place doesn't charge you money for bread and the quality is so good. I really like the soft butter with good scent. The beet salad with goat was quite refreshing. The artichoke dip was flavourful too. The pork is tender and flavourful (spicy). Strongly recommend these three dishes. I didn't like the crab cake which doesn't have much crab flavour and the texture of which is weird too. The chicken is dry too. The server was offering to replace our chicken dish with something else when he heard the dish was so-so (although we didn't ask him to switch it). We were so satisfied with the environment and service here that we wanted to revisit during the rest of our trip if they were opening on those days. It'll definitely be my number one dinner choice when I'm revisiting London.

Definitely do better on that because its a great app which i get every time i come. Our entrees were amazing. I don't know if they got a new chef, but I was blown away by the tenderlion i had. My date had a chicken entree and absolutely loved it. They still need to add sound deadening pads to the ceiling, but it wasn't too busy, so I could hear my date. service was ok, but we ran late due to conversation, and felt pushed to go. at least i wasn't called hunny this time.

Some really amazing dishes paired with some dishes that in my opinion needed a lot of work or…read moreshould probably not be on offer. The salad with cheese, cashews, craisins, apple, and creamy garlic dressing was excellent, with a wide variety of textures represented. It felt like a crunchy salad and was fun to eat, helping balance the rest of the items at dinner. The harissa cauliflower was curious. I had a few bites initially, and then I came to some realization that it tasted fairly off-putting, almost like some chemical. There was some aroma that didn't seem quite right. I conferred with wait staff and kitchen staff and they assured me that that was the proper flavor, but my body and taste buds weren't convinced. They were professional and assured in their communications with me which was appreciated, even if my senses didn't match their convictions. The polenta with beef tenderloin tips was amazing. The polenta was creamy and well-flavored and the flavor was a cheese flavor that was balanced nicely the brightness of the tomatoes. The cook and tenderness on the beef tips was amazing! The mussels with microfrites was problematic: the mussels were dried up, and overly salty and in general overcooked. The microfrites were overcooked as well, tasting burnt despite being nicely crispy. The seafood bourride came off as a tad too sweet, without enough differentiation in textures. The monkfish itself had a nice texture, but the shrimp was overcooked. The steelhead trout special was decent, particularly the zucchini and rice pilaf sides. The trout itself was a tad too stiff, and for the price wished that it was a tad fresher. It was labeled as "Catch of the Day" but the freshness on the fish itself didn't match the label. The duck with cannellini beans was quite amazing if a tad rich. The cook on the duck was perfect, so tender, and the beans with the arugula added a nice touch of balance with the richness of the duck. The salt content could have been lessened. The Canadian bacon - I wasn't sure what effect it was supposed to have on the meal - just added saltiness to an already heavily-seasoned dish. The service was amazing, always responding to specific questions we had about the dishes and noted dietary restrictions as well. Couple of comments about the architecture and the space: the table was a bit small for the number of dishes we ordered, and it got really dark to the point that I couldn't see the food past sunset. The proprietors should consider placing a light on that side of the restaurant. It gets really noisy when crowded. The carrot cake dessert was super textbook classic carrot cake, executed to classical perfection. I probably should have abstained because it was super sweet, but it was undeniably delicious. This seems to be an establishment with big aspirations, a generally fun location to meet with friends and family, in a neighborhood that's in the midst of a boom. It seems to be quite a hopping place and it deserves much attention going forward.

Our server was quite good and we had our drinks right away. My companion had his salad with 20 mins but our main courses were over an hour of waiting. My friend's boneless beef ribs looked very good and he said they were excellent. My asparagus risotto was just ok. It was a meager amount compared to the price, the asparagus was overcooked and sparse and it was swimming in too much oil/butter. The flavour of the lemon also could have been more prominent. Over all I found it slimy tbh. Although we were told that the cheesecake was chocolate marble, it was vanilla with a chocolate drizzle. It was quite light and delicious though. It was my first time at Gnosh but I will definitely be back to try again.

We ordered the Arancini, calamari, chicken souvlaki dinner (with an extra skewer), and a braised short rib (which was massive). The Arancini was great and the braised short rib was very flavorful. I was overwhelmed with options until I discovered that John Catucci had popped into The Bungalow for an episode of You Gotta Eat Here, because I can't possibly say no to a joint that's received the Catooch seal of approval. We showed up in the early afternoon and the place was crowded but not completely full, which meant we were able to snag a nice booth in the middle of the restaurant. Having watched the segment on You Gotta Eat Here, I felt like I had no choice but to order the Nicky-John Burger ("House Made Lamb Patty, Goat Cheese, Arugula, Roasted Red Pepper, Grilled Onion, Tzatziki, Toasted Sesame Kaiser") and I got that with a bowl of their habanero beer cheese soup. It's a really tasty burger. All the components work really well together and the lamb patty itself is flavorful and very tender, although I will say that the copious goat cheese was occasionally a little overwhelming. A little of that stuff goes a long way. The soup was also quite tasty, and I enjoyed that hint of spice in it, too. It was maybe a little too heavy to eat with a burger, but I think it'd be delicious on its own. I really loved the vibe of The Bungalow. It really feels like a cool, friendly neighborhood restaurant, and I know I'd be there all the time if I lived nearby.
