Once you enter you need to circle the building as it's located right behind Guibe Cafe. It's nice that they have some pop ups here and this day was no different with Sippin' Pretty whisking up some various drinks for a quick and easy pick up. As the shop isn't really big it is packed with lots of specialty items some that come highly recommended. Nice and clean cool place that I was happy to discover slightly hidden in Aiea. Thank you!

I like buying my products at The Vitamin Shoppe because of the variety of protein powders,…read morepre-workouts, vitamins, and more. The protein powder brand I always buy is the Betancourt Nutrition, and pre-workout I also get is Animo Energy. These products work well with me, and I have only seen The Vitamin Shoppe sell it (Betancourt Nutrition that is). The products are expensive, but it's the price you pay for results. When the Betancourt Nutrition goes on sale, it's a REALLY good sale. Any of the other brands when they go on sale it's good too. Depending on the brand, the sales could be, "buy 1 get the other 50% off," or " buy 1 get 1 free." Staff service is great. Paul, the store manager, has a friendly, welcoming, courteous approach when I was looking at their products. The other associate also greeted me and informed me about the sale. This is less than 3 minutes apart. Overall, customer service is 10 out of 10. The interior is well lit and organized. Cleaned and well kept. Parking Private lot Payment Cash or credit

My post-operative search for pure protein powder to supplement a medically required 3-day liquid…read morediet brought me here. In my youth (never mind the wisecracks), I would be in the gym 5-days a week so visiting this muscle store was sort of fun like going down memory lane! But that was then and this is now (as the French say) ... today I needed a protein powder that fit my current diet.... mainly no soy, no sugar, and no carbs or other man-made chemicals. Most all powders contain soy but soy is a toxin for some (like me). I was able to find a great powder without soy, milk, sugar or carbs! I liked how the only sweetener used was 1g of Stevia root which has a zero-glycemic index. The price was a bit steep ($42 for 2 lbs) but I might be back when my current supply (different brand) runs out. Enjoyed talking to the knowledgeable young man behind the counter (who looked like he could bench press my car for a warm up without sweating!). Very happy to know this resource is close by in the neighborhood. And the former weightlifter in me? I think American poet Theodore Roethke put it best when he penned: "I measure time how a body sways" Boy do I sway nowadays! Mahalo for reading my review.

Judging on their Instagram posts, they seem to have a few brands available and as their stock runs low, they bring in another brand. The place is catered to those who are savvy in the world of weight training but as I've seen while I was there, there was another customer that was just looking for something to curb their appetite and the employee there was very helpful and encouraging. Some people may be off-put by the staff and clientele simply because they're "fitness people" but what that's what the place is all about. I mean most of the people who frequent stores like this know what they want and are avid weight lifters so naturally, a lot of "in shape" people will be in there. The staff seems to be very friendly with their "regulars" too.

Don't put your health at risk. Very dangerous and possible counterfeit products are sold here. Better smoke shops 2 minute walk down the road for much cheaper prices and bigger selection. I decided to try a new shop with different brands, so I stopped in and purchased a product I've been using for the past year with no problems. Immediately after eating the tablet, my mouth filled with a chemical taste and I knew something was wrong. I spent the next 5 hours feeling like I was going to die. Shaky. Sweaty, heart palpitations and nausea from the extreme pain that was coming from my liver area. I should have checked first, but in the back of the package there is a QR code you can scan to verify the product is legit and also see the lab reports from its production to verify no dangerous solvents and inaccurate doses are inside. When I scan the QR code it takes me to some random webpage that has nothing to do with the product. I called the shop and explained what happened, they didn't care. Despite me still having 95% of the product still left, they refused to give me a refund. Aside from that, their prices are way higher than any other shop on the island and the selection isn't that great. This explains perfectly why most their reviews are as bad as the products they are putting out. Very bad business model. They could have refunded me and gotten a refund from the manufacturer. In internet search, I found some batches from them are packaged to quick and trap in solvents. I can only figure the reason they don't refund is that they are fake or just don't care about customer retention.
