Waitress Demi was outstanding! Food and appetizers came out in a timely fashion. Ambiance- The restaurant itself is beautiful. The waterfall inside is a nice touch. There is nice outside seating. Okay, this is my fifth visit here in five months so it's safe to say I'm either a glutton for…read morepunishment or that this place is great. Fortunately, it's the later, by a wide margin. Why you ask? Simple, it's great. My reasons: 1) Every time we've been here the service has been great. Not good, great. We've taken the time to meet/talk to the serving staff and they all have been friendly, attentive, and really good at their jobs. We have also met the owners and they too are lovely people. 2) The setting, given that's it's in a small strip mall is great. They have a large patio, plenty of umbrellas as booths, and multiple water features including a water wall. Inside the restaurant is equally beautiful. This is not Chi-Chis or some place trying to faux up the setting. 3) The food is great. If you are looking for typical Americanized Mexican, Spanish, South American food, this is not your place. If you are instead looking for great food that is more interesting, this is the place. For example, tonight we had a chicharron that looked liked two of biggest fried slices of hog heaven you could hope for. It was amazing! We also had the chimichurri sauce which was slightly different from what we have had in the past but it too was awesome! We even asked for some to go to which they said of course. 3) The portion size of most of what we've had over the five visits have almost always fit the price while things such as the steak fajitas were on the generous side for 2026. Bonus, big bonus- They are very dog friendly so your four legged and well behaved dogs are more than welcome in their spacious outdoor patio. And since the tables (not the booths) are not tightly together it's a good place even for the truly big dogs! That about covers it. So bring your fur baby, have a drink (they have some nice concoctions ) and enjoy a restaurant that recreates so many things from one of the owner's youth. And if you can sit outside, you will enjoy it even more! As always, apologies for my usually long and hopefully epic review. Cheers and happy dining all!

Went here shortly after opening. It shows that it closes at seven but it really just doesn't allow…read moreanybody new to come in after seven. They still had full table service and everything until like 8 o'clock. You go up to the staff they give you a number and when they call you, you go up to the counter and order when they bring the food to you. They have a really cute market next-door that has standard seafood items such as scallops and really nice looking shrimp and crawfish and salmon and whatever else is in season, then they have a section that's got frozen foods that are ready to cook or just heat and eat and then seasonings and some touristy type stuff. The food was really good and there is a lot of it. The roast beef sandwich was really good. The gumbo is Cajun style so if you'd like tomatoes, this isn't the one for you the fried shrimp plate had wonderful hush puppies the corn nuggets were so good and the shrimp was well seasoned and crispy fried. If you do the burger Poboy add the roast beef sauce. It just takes it to a whole new level.

First off I have to be honest and say that I have never eaten in the restaurant. However, I have…read moreeaten their food many times. I have always had it to go. The catfish platter is always good and the portion is fair. Truthfully, I just wish that they participated in some of the delivery services. As for the market side. It looks clean and appears to be your typical seafood market. However, from my experience I don't buy my fresh shrimp from them. Once was enough. I had my wife stop and buy some shrimp for dinner at home and they were anything but fresh. They were old and difficult to clean. So my take on this place is go for the restaurant but leave the market side alone.

Small catfish poboy and onion rings. Quality of fish good, but the size is pretty small for the price.
