I called first thing in the morning, and the lady who answered the phone was polite and very accommodating. "Yes, of course we can put a little bouquet together and certainly we can deliver it today." A total life saver! The bouquet was beautiful, my wife was thrilled, and her co-workers were jealous (of husband and bouquet). Delivery time from phone call to drop off was only about an hour and a half, but the shop isn't far from my wife's work. It was a little pricier than I expected to spend but the price was not unreasonable considering the great service and the wonderful bouquet we got. A fantastic experience. I will be patronizing them again in the future. Highly recommended for all you slack husbands out there.

The arrangement was stunning! It's been over two weeks later and the flowers are still lovely, of course after pulling out the spent stems. It is an 'experience' to enter the restaurant through the faux pawn shop... I pull the mat out of my car to get the smoothie off of it, while keeping the trash(the lid and some old mail). Some man who I suppose works there comes running out complaining that someone will track in the smoothie, mind you, 190 is super busy and this whole parking lot is empty. I start saying "oh my bad" and he threatens to call the police, although I'm not sure what they would do because I don't shop here, nor am I littering.. there was also a dirty diaper already sitting in the parking lot that someone else had littered, not sure what the smoothie would have done that the diaper couldnt do.. they started recording us as if we were robbing the place or something while we were already in the car driving off. It's a pharmacy where everyone knows your name :-) They have plenty of medical necessities for ourchase such as creams you find in the hospitals (calmseptine) to locally produced items such as candles and Nola apparels. I usually come here to fill a prescription that other "retail" pharmacies do not carry. Today they only had a few of my pills left in stock. They filled what they had and will call me next week to come get the rest. How nice! I really like that old town feel that we are currently missing! I hope everyone can come support their locals. I think my prescription may be a few dollars more but worth it for supporting my local pharmacy.

I'm a complete newbie while my daughter's pretty well-versed in perfume technology. I was afraid either I was going to be out of my depth or my daughter would be bored. AND the class would be pretentious or stuffy. I couldn't have been more wrong! The staff were so friendly and welcoming, almost like we'd known each other for years. We learned so much about making perfumes, as well as insider views of New Orleans, Mardi Gras, and local parades/events. I'm pretty sure Madame Aucoin's was the best experience of NOLA hospitality we had during our visit, PLUS we came home with beautiful self-designed perfumes. We won't hesitate to stop in October, the next time we visit!
