These guys are right by the house, so it's easy to run up here for a cup of coffee or a soft drink middle of the day. Hello. My grandchildren wanted to stop here for the frozen yogurt. It was really good, except for the plain vanilla, which had spoiled. Even though nobody alerted us of the issue and my grandson got a mouthful of sour vanilla frozen yogurt, the other flavors were delightful. The size of the cup and toppings made it even better, and only for around $2. I will be coming here for my frozen yogurt needs and will be avoiding the vanilla flavor. That is all. read more

I go to this location regularly as it is very convenient to my home. I often find myself there around 10pm. On a normal night, I would rate it with 4 stars. However, 5 out of 10 times I stop around 10pm, the doors are locked. It can't be good for sales to regularly lock up at night. I've been told when someone is working alone, they lock up. Tonight there were 3 people inside. For a business that claims to be open 24 hours, this one often is NOT. I actually thought as I pulled in tonight, 'I hope this isn't one of those nights customers are locked out.' Low and behold, it was. This is one of the few places that carry my brand of cigarettes. I don't appreciate having to drive across town late at night and sometimes multiple places to find them. Very poor business practice! I am fond of convenience stores! They sell roughly 1/3 of all the beer sold in the U.S. That's saying a lot considering how much beer is sold at bars and grocery stores. I help the cause some as c-stores are my preferred place to get beer as it is so much easier than dealing with grocery stores. Also, convenience stores only make about $.04/gal profit from gas sales so they rely on their in-store sales for most of their profits. These stores must get you inside the store to stay in business so they do what they can to lure you inside. They put coffee, sandwiches, candy, drinks, lotto tickets, and restrooms right inside those doors that most of us don't even pay attention to. Most of us just pump our gas, pay at the pump, and go. Anyone that knows me well knows I rarely ever just pay at the pump and go. I have to go inside to check out the candy section. This particular Racetrac ups the ante big time on other popular convenience stores like 7-Eleven, QuikTrip, and Wawa. This Racetrac is big, clean, and has so many different items. Your typical items like candy, chips, sandwiches, and sodas are plentiful here.They offer unique items like pints of ice cream, sno-balls, and empanadas. They also have FIVE different stations with about a dozen choices each for coffee, iced teas, frozen beverages, slurpees, and fountain drinks. They even have a froyo area! Of course the beer is plentiful here with a dedicated walk-in cooler just for the beer cases. Oh and did I mention it has the most gas pumps of any gas station around here? Yup this is a very big gas station with TWENTY pumps. So come here for convenience as you rarely ever have to wait for a pump but most of all come here for the unique c-store food items! Always some bullshit with this racetrac it is suppose to be open 24 hours but they not they lock the doors at 10pm and say they shorthanded and they can't open with just one person. So if that's the case turn the canopy lights out by the pumps and lights out in the store and send the one employee home. This is one of the most impressive gas station convenience stores that I have ever visited. I was heading to Vicksburg and stopped here to get some snacks. I had never been here before, but thought it looked like the place to stop for road trip snacks. I was right. The store part of this station is massive. Immediately inside to the right is a massive walk in cooler filled with beer. As a fan of malted beverages, I was impressed. The selection was significantly better than almost any other gas station store. The snack selection was also beyond compare. They had items I didn't even know existed. An example would be pumpkin seeds. I have heard of sunflower seeds, but never pumpkin seeds packaged for sale. This store had the shelled and non shelled varieties. They also had every type of chip you could imagine. If the snacks weren't enough, there was frozen yogurt, sandwiches and four million types of soft drinks on tap. The cashiers were extremely helpful and friendly. There were also two on duty so even with a long line, the wait was minimal. They also have gas, but you can get that anywhere. This is an awesome gas station. Here's the deal. The pumps are fast, they have windshield squeegees, and the inside store is fantastic. There is a walk in beer cooler, impressive soda fountain, Icees, frozen yogurt, a coffee shop and snack options for days. Last but not least is their very clean bathroom situation. I have always loved this store. Tonight we went in to get yogurt. There were no sample cups, all the fruit was empty (only syrup remained), the Oreos and granola were very stale, and flies were landing all over the topping bar. We decided on an Icee instead.
