I've been using Brian for around a decade and would never change pest control providers at this point. Case in point, today I had to have my crawl space inspected for what I worried was a costly pier and beam repair. Turns out it will be an easy fix, but most relevant to this review is what the foundation rep said about the state of my crawl space. His words, "you must have a great pest control service because I've never seen a crawl space with less bugs, and the ones I did see were dead." When you can, go with a local business who cares. Brian @ Proctor Pest Control is exactly that. Diana, who handles his scheduling etc. is great as well!

Brian didn't know the pot was old and already broken by my kids but he took it upon himself to leave a note and $$ without me even saying a peep. I explained to him that the pot was already broken and wouldn't accept the $50 but WOW what a testament to his integrity and honesty. James Wagner is THE Rat Detective! I had an unusual problem: I was hearing scurrying noises above…read morethe ceiling of the first story of my house, but not the second story. Within the first 15 minutes of his initial visit, James determined that the rats were in the crawlspace between the first and second stories -- NOT in the attic, as is usually the case with rats. In addition, James figured out exactly how the rats were getting into my house. He then gave me an estimate that was quite reasonable. I also obtained an estimate from one of James' biggest competitors, who, like him, has a 5-star rating on Yelp. In contrast to James, the competitor's technician showed no interest whatsoever in determining the root cause of my rat problem. His proposed solution was to seal every nook and cranny on my house's exterior. While this no doubt would have worked, it would have been three times as expensive as James' solution. In addition, the competitor tried to sell me thousands of dollars worth of new insulation for my attic, which I did not need, and which would not have helped with my rat problem. Imagine going to two different car mechanics to fix an engine noise. Mechanic A determines that the noise is due to a faulty valve, and proposes replacing the valve. Mechanic B shows no interest in finding the cause of the noise, and proposes simply replacing the entire engine. Both solutions will fix the problem. Which mechanic would you choose? Oh, the identify of the competitor? I'd like to tell you, but it was Greek to me. :)

We have been trying to get in touch with the tech that supposedly did the work to eradicate the rodents, but that number has been disconnected. Steer clear of this defunct company! We will be contacting our attorney and the BBB. Hopefully we can recoup our initial $1900.
